Despite Trump’s Shocking Seditious Actions, Republican Senators Will [not] Vote To Convict Him…

At the heart of the disconnect between normal people and the political right, unfortunately including the so-called Christian conservatives, is the little issue called ‘truth.’
It is tough to have discourse, much less reach consensus, if the fundamental guardrail called truth is removed, leaving an ever-moving goalpost of lies and disinformation in its wake.
That is where America now finds itself. The stakes of holding onto white supremacy and all the privileges it affords white people are so great that truth no longer matters.
They stare you in the face and pretend that the truth you just pointed out is inconsequential or doesn’t exist.
♦That Donald Trump is a pussy-grabber. ♦ That Donald Trump bragged about grabbing women by the pussy♦ That Donald Trump is a serial philanderer who had sex with hookers while his wife was home with their young baby♦ That Donald Trump is a vile racist♦ That Donald Trump is not a successful businessman but an abject failure♦ That Donald Trump does not care about their interest♦That Donald Trump barges in on naked young women and bragged about it♦ That Donald Trump is a criminal who does not care about their religion♦
On and on, they close their ears to the truth, creating what Kelly AnnConway, Trump’s counselor, called alternative facts. A clear indication that as far as Donald Trump was concerned, ‘truth’ was out the door; reality was what they say it was.

Joni Ernst

Lies create anxiety; it causes depression when people cannot trust what their government tells them. The sense of hopelessness many people expressed during the Trump régime has been palpable. The breakdown of communities along racial and political lines is directly attributable to Donald Trump and his acolytes incessant lies.
Donald Trump was not successful in destroying the American Democratic experiment, but the people who support him are still in power. Trumpism is not dead; assuming that Trump’s departure means the end of his insidious lies and the consequences that emanate from them would be a big mistake.
It will be a heavy lift to remove the stain of Trump when there were a dozen members of the United States Senate who attached their names to a [lie] to overturn the results of a verifiable fair election, and by extension, destroying democracy.
Equally appalling is the two-thirds of the House Republican caucus who violated their oath to the constitution and attached their names to the same lies to curry favor with a pathologically mendacious wannabe strongman.
The stain of lies that now drives the Republican party is rather offensive to people who believe in truth’s morality.
Joni Ernst, the not-so-smart newly elected US Senator from the state of Iowa, ignoring the truth of events on January 6th, 2021, in response to Trump’s second impeachment, expressed concerns about the senate trying criminal presidents after they leave office. Quote: So, in the future, can we impeach President Obama?
How damn disingenuous is this so-called American Senator? First off, what crimes have President Obama committed? Where is the equal protection under the law if presidents are allowed to break the laws and walk away scot-free?
Secondly, the US Congress did impeach Donald Trump before he left office, so is the nation supposed to walk away from a criminal president because Republicans all of a sudden wants unity?
Where was the Republican unity during Trump’s régime?

The stench of trump’s legacy will prevail long after trump; there is no unringing the bell, no getting back that sped arrow. Even if Democrats just decision to impeach Trump a second time fails to win a conviction, which I believe it will, their cause will be no less just.
Republicans’ refusal to honor their oath will be only another example of the corrosive effects of lies. In this case, it will demonstrate that even though they cowered in fear at the prospect of losing their lives at the hands of Trump’s goons, they are so brainwashed, that they will vote to exonerate the man who ordered the assault against them.
That is the power of incessant lies and disinformation.

America Barely Dodged A Bullet, Next Time The Traitors Will Not Fail…

On January 20th, 2009, Barack Hussien Obama, the Democratic Presidential nominee, was inaugurated as the 44th president of the United States of America. Barack Hussien Obama was the first African-American to attain the nation’s highest executive office.
January 2009, Michael Steele, a Republican DC lawyer, was appointed chairperson of the Republican National Committee (RNC). Michael Steele just also happened to be a black man. He was the first African-American to be appointed to run the Republican National Committee.
Was the Steel appointment purely coincidental, or was it a well thought-out and strategic attempt to put a black face on what would be a no-holes-barred assault against the Obama Administration? You be the judge.
The backlash against Obama’s presidency was an all-out assault that took on many facets, including (a) an intransigent (no-campaign) by Republicans in the house and Senate who had decided on opposing everything the new president proposed, even if they had supported those proposals in the past. On its face, the idea, was to make Obama a one-term president, as Mitch McConnell attested, quote; “my only goal is to make Obama a one-term president.
However, the broader goal was to ensure that there would be no legislative accomplishment that could be attributed to Obama.

(b) The T‑party’s rise was funded by billionaire, reactionary, right-wing brothers, Charles and David Koch. The idea was to create the sense that the T‑party was a grassroots uprising against the newly elected progressive president. The truth is that the movement was a racist campaign intended to ensure that the new president would have no legislative accomplishment for four years, after which he would be booted from office as a failure, an experiment never to be tried again.
(c) An all-out campaign against the new president led by right-wing media, aimed at stirring up an insurrection, which it did; across the South and midwest, the president’s policies were demonized as Socialist/Communist.
Of course, those tropes have been used unsparingly by the regressive elements in this country whenever they desire to smear someone they do not like.
Two years after Obama took office, the disinformation campaign resulted in the Republican takeover of the House of Representatives. They had no further use for Michael Steele, he was replaced as head of the RNC by Rience Prebuis.

Today Michael Steele still sees himself as a Republican even though his words are diametrically different than it was years ago. In fairness to Michael Steele, he was never a flame thrower, he came from the old guard, which boasted African-Americans like Colin Powell, all the way back to Mrtin Luther King junior.
Unfortunately for those Republicans, the party left them by the wayside a long time ago, they just ignored the signs. I have consistently outlined in this medium why African-Americans cannot support the Republican party.
Republicans wanted a black face on the RNC after Obama won the presidency. The bile and virtriol that was unleashed against President Obama and his new administration was papered over with the wallpaper of a black man’s face.
I called out the racism then, I thought it was despicable and cowardly that they would use Steele against Obama , but they did. As soon as they took the House they were done with Michael Steele, he was replaced.
It is now a decade since Michael Steel was used as a sledgehammer against the first African-American president, Steele is a different man now, his comments and analysis is more in line with mainstream thought, balanced, intelligent, reasoned.
A decade later the Republican party does not play the hide behind the black guy anymore.

The Republican party is now a Fascist organization that does not believe in democracy. Over the last twelve years, aided by Supreme Court’s Shelby County Alabama Vs. Holder decision, they have employed every measure possible to overturn the democratic process.
Outrageous gerrymandering, archaic voter suppression laws, voter intimidation, acts intended to prevent people from voting, purging voters lists, Russian-style disinformation campaigns, and a raft of other anti-democratic steps designed to suppress the black vote.
As revolting as those actions are, they have demonstrated that they will stop at nothing to gain and hold onto power, even if it means destroying the American democracy. Even if it means throwing out millions of votes cast by entire cities of largely African-American voters.
When that failed, they went further, they treasenously incited a rabble to storm the capitol and do whatever they will with the entire legislative leadership of the nation.
If that action had succeded, Donald Trump would have been president for as long as he wanted and there would be no one to stop him.
American as we know it would have existed no longer.

Domestic Terrorism Not New, Terrorists Have Been Ignored .…

I have not been shy in pointing out that there is no Federal Domestic Terrorism statute in the United States because it would unearth proof that the greatest threat to the United States’ security is white supremacy.
I have also complimented the FBI for warning years ago that white supremacists have and continue to infiltrate police departments across the county. Conversely, I have also criticized the FBI for not paying enough attention to the threat white supremacy poses, choosing instead to play up the so-called threats posed by Black Lives Matter (BLM protesters, and ANTIFA„ some of whom go too far by breaking the laws.
We should never lose sight of the fact that BLM protesters are actually protesting against police violence and criminality, and the disorganized group that goes by the acronym (ANTIFA). The acronym literally stands for Anti-fascist.
It seems to me that if the United States were to attend to systemic racism and the rise of Fascism, which has taken on a new life over the last dozen or so years, these two Organizations would cease to exist.

Donald Trump’s presidency was dedicated to two things. (1) Enriching himself, his children, and his wealthy backers, and (2) enhancing the cause of white supremacy.
Though Trump is undoubtedly the most racist person to occupy the Executive Mansion in my lifetime, the racism he represents was not created by him; he merely used it toward his own ends and took steps to encourage it for his future exploitation.
There is evidence that at least 20% of Capitol insurrectionists were past and serving military and law enforcement members; this revelation should be no surprise.
Despite the irrefutable data, the term terrorism continues to be viewed as something associated with foreigners and Muslims in particular.
There is now a new Democratic Administration in Washington DC. We hope that President Biden and the Democrats in the Congress will move with speed and purpose in reinstating the Federal Voting Rights Act to its former state.
The 1965 Act was decimated in 2013 By the Roberts Court in a stunning decision known as Shelby County Vs. Holder.
The other pressing issue is the need to rein in the white supremacist groups running around pretending to be law-abiding citizens but are, for all intents, terrorist groups.

On its second full day in office, the new administration took steps to look at local terror groups. Biden has already directed federal law enforcement and national intelligence officials to complete an assessment of the threat posed by domestic violent extremism in America.
White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki announced the threat assessment at a press briefing on Friday.
The assessment of the situation at hand will be managed in part by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, which was created in the wake of the 911 terrorist attacks and responsible for advising the president on national security issues.
When that assessment is completed, we hope that it will lead to actionable legislation that will focus on this existential threat that has continued to result in the loss of countless lives without the outcry and action warranted in light of its severity.
White supremacy terrorism is not new. On the morning of April 19th, 1995, Timothy McVeigh killed numerous Americans right here at home in a dastardly act of domestic terrorism. Since then, white terrorists have killed at will, and have avoided the coalescence needed around the common cause of rooting it out.

Both Political Parties Have Made A Mockery Of Our Country On The Issue Of Crime…

Amidst the pandemic and the bloodshed, the country is crying out for leadership. Leadership that neither the Governing Jamaica Labor Party nor the Opposition People’s National Party is equipped with, or willing to give.
The most important function of any Government is the security of the population.
Medieval rulers understood that simple concept, and they took steps to protect their subjects. Rulebreakers were dealt with in ways that I will not endorse here; those who would enter their cities to pillage and kill, were kept out with elaborate fortifications. If invaders managed to breach those fortifications no quarters were given, because none was expected.

We are not in medieval times anymore, but the gruesomeness of the killings and the killers’ callousness are reminiscent of the barbarism that existed during that period we like to refer to as the dark ages.
It begs a couple of questions; since there was nothing dark about the era except for humans’ callous nature and how they treated each other, what separates us from the people of that era?
Certainly, it cannot be the trappings of modernity; that’s just stuff. It has to be more than scientific and technological breakthroughs that separate us from the dark past, or we are no likewise any more advanced than we were thousands of years ago, if we continue to act as savages towards others.

The dichotomy that guides discourse on crime in Jamaica through competing ideals is both destructive and antithetical to putting an end to the protracted period of wanton killings.
On the one hand, the leaders are so immersed in crime that they cannot legislate against it in any meaningful way. Doing so would literally take money from their pockets.
On the other hand, there are those who though not fully appreciative of the benefits of a crime-free society, are less invested in its continuance and therefore would not mind having less violence.
However, their world-view is shaped by a leftist ideology that does not believe in consequences for actions for the latter group. The other unfortunate component to this latter group, is the education they earned and, to wit, they believe is an organ that separates them from the working class over which they rule.

This latter group poses the greatest risk, in my estimation to any efforts to salvage what’s left of the country. This group would rather burn the damn thing to the ground then rule over the ashes.
There is a tone-deafness to their methods, that may be attributed to their sense of pretense and elitism. In that mindset is a stubborn desire to project a sense that Jamaica is a developed country, despite the country being anything but.
Like Dame Patricia Routledge, star of the old Brtish sitcom keeping up appearances, they pretend to be something they are not.

This mentality is not that the practitioners hide behind high walls and gated communities; their pretense affects all Jamaicans’ lives.
There is a reason that the large western nations that we Jamaicans immigrate to, one and all, make law enforcement a cornerstone to their societies.
Those of us who have been privileged to visit and live in those environments know all too well what it means to have the rule of law as guardrails around ourselves and our families.
Sure there are problems with Law enforcement in America, that problem is race-based, what is not in question is resources put toward law enforcement, which means legislatively more than anything else.

Our country has become a circus; the penalties for violent crimes are a joke. Minsters of Government are active lobbyists for criminals. The violent murderers in Jamaica have no greater friend than the Minister of Justice, Delroy Chuck. Members of the Police department have no greater enemy than the same Minister Delroy Chuck.
Simultaneously, the tiny percentage of the murderers arrested and eventually convicted spend their time living the high life in what passes for the prisons.
Recording music, drinking booze, texting and talking on their cell phones, and God knows what else.
For many of these criminals, the only difference with their lifestyles on the inside, is that the taxpayers subsidize their lifestyle, the other half paid for by the proceeds of their criminal enterprises that they continue to run from inside.
Both political parties have made a mockery of our country, all the time continuing to feed the people with bullshit stories about progress on the one hand, and prosperity on the other.

In Other Countries Criminals Fear The Laws, In Jamaica The Law Fears The Criminals…

If the January 21st Editorial in the Jamaica Observer weren’t such bullshit, it would be worthy of being featured on comedy hour.
The sheer hypocrisy of the Editorial page dribble was breathtaking, to put it mildly. “Gov’t seemingly bankrupt of ideas on fighting crime.”

Chinese businessman gunned down in Montego Bay | Loop News

[After acknowledging the latest “bloody weekend” in Jamaica, featuring several triple and double murders, totaling 25 people between January 16 and 19, the minister, for the umpteenth time, condemned the brutal killers and promised yet again: “The police intend to increase activities and we are not deterred by these kinds of brazenness.” In addition, the security minister let us know that, before the weekend slaughters, murders were trailing last year’s rate by 18.5 percent. To add insult to injury, Attorney General Marlene Malahoo Forte gave us this gem: “The country has been calling on the State to act, and the State will act. The level of brazenness and utter disregard for lives and public order cannot be accepted.”
We suppose that the country should be completely reassured by the fighting words of Dr. Chang and Mrs. Malahoo Forte, and we should expect the shooters to be quaking in their boots as they scramble to get rid of their guns, take up lawful employment, and start going back to church. It is ridiculous that that is all we can expect from an Administration that continues to bamboozle with words while failing to keep the country safe — the most sacred duty of a Government.
The Government appears at this stage to be bankrupt of ideas to fight crime. Well-intentioned as he is, Prime Minister Andrew Holness gave away the game when he did just what the much-jeered former Security Minister Peter Bunting did in calling for divine intervention].Jamaica Observer.com

At the heart of the pickle in which Jamaica now finds itself, lies the Pharisees who wrote the foregone. For decades they cheer led the lionizing of crime figures, while at the same time influencing the two criminal gangs that double as political parties, on how to water down anti-crime legislations. Now that criminals have the upper hand to do as they please, those same arsonists stand there with the gas cans and lighters while criticizing the fire department for not doing enough to put out the blaze.
Jamaica did not get to this stage in which all the authorities can do is issue pre-written absurd statements of resolve; we now have an entire country that was weaned on the idea that they can do as they please, rules be damned.
As a former law enforcement officer, I walked away from the JCF after a mere 912 years because I realized that in addition to the shitty pay, nothing that I did would make a darn difference because of the culture of lawlessness and corruption in our country.
Jamaica had the opportunity to create a brand new rebirth at the time of the pseudo-Independence declaration in 1962. The truth is that Britain, having emerged from the second world war, battered and broken, was in no position to maintain an empire.
Jamaica did not win her independence; Britain was happy to jettison the Island as it had done other colonies before jamaica.
Instead of kicking the old colonial heathens to the curb, and setting their sights on Republican statehood, Jamaican leaders allowed Britain to retain control of our country’s sovereignty.
Almost fifty-nine (59) years later, Jamaican leaders steadfastly refuse to extricate themselves from the aprons of the vicious colonialists that murdered, raped, and mutilated our fore-parents.

WE ARE NOT ANIMALS': Angry residents clash with demolition crew at 85 Red Hills Road | Loop News

Like leaders across the African continent, Asia, and Latin ‑America, they saw the end of physical colonization as an opportunity to enrich themselves. As a consequence, they opted for lax laws that do precious little to deter criminal conduct.
Today 59-years later, we are at the tipping point on crime; 25 people were murdered between January 16 and 19.
Make no mistake about it; there is no sense of urgency within the population either; after all ‘people get killed everywhere.[sic]
To a large extent, the vast majority of the population has no memory of a peaceful and tranquil nation where the rule of law is respected and applied. No one should expect that there will be any sense of urgency due to those killings; we have been there before. This has been Jamaica for a long time, it will be Jamaica for a long time to come.
This population is not fazed, this is normal to them; nothing matters as long as they are not killed, until they are.….., there is no need to worry. I guess you can’t miss or appreciate what you never had?
Restoring Jamaica to a peaceful place where one can feel safe to raise a family will not be easy. The people would have to be reoriented, reeducated into understanding that they deserve better than the bloodshed and mayhem that surrounds them. That will not be an easy job as I intimated earlier, the majority of the population may be too far gone.
Jamaicans who really crave a life free from the daily bloodletting choose to leave. It is a sad reality, for those who are unable to leave, their existence becomes a deadly game of Russian roulette, never knowing when the round will be rightly positioned to kill.
The people who pull the trigger know that there is support for them at every level of society. Criminals fear the laws in other societies, in Jamaica, the law fears the criminals.

The Political Right Is Driven By Hatred Of Multiculturalism

The Arts, Culture, Music, Science, Inclusion, Equality, Those are the things the enemies of progress hate, the things we saw in the nation’s capital on January 20th. The coming together of American multiculturalism’s beautiful quilt is really what drives the racist political right mad.
It makes them so mad they rage-tweet, and they riot, they kill cops in a blood-lust rage-filled quest to get to lawmakers and even their very own vice president and his family.
As the media nibble around the edges seeking to placate, seeing to nuance, seeking to give deference to white nationalists, independent voices like this writer strive to shine a light on the true reason they hate.

They hate because of what we witnessed on January 20th, Native Americans, African-Americans, White Americans, Asian-Americans, Hispanic Americans, Pacif-Islanders, Americans all, coming together in a beautiful cornucopia to celebrate the unique idea of Americanism.
Perhaps the greatest evidence of my claim, is outgoing Secretary of State Mike Pompeo’s tweet, on the American Taxpayers account, quote; “Woke-ism, multiculturalism, all the ‑isms — they’re not who America is. They distort our glorious founding and what this country is all about. Our enemies stoke these divisions because they know they make us weaker.
That shocking racist tweet from an arrogant twit who abused his power as secretary of state, used his office for political purposes in service to Donald Trump’s crimes, may best be garbaged by a line in the eloquent Amanda Gorman’s poem. “We’ve seen a force that would shatter our nation, rather than share it.”
Boom!!!

It goes without saying, even though we have banged those drums for years, the single greatest fear that drives those who now call themselves Republicans, is the fear that America is gradually moving away from Race-based philosophy, to one that embraces the quilt of multi-culturalism over the tyranny of white supremacy.
The danger they pose to the republic will be an ongoing threat. It is fanned and fed by talk radio, right-wing television, and social media platforms that operate as round the clock gaslighters against the concept of truth.
The wounded snake we witnessed on January 6th is only the beginning of what is likely to come. Pompeo’s ignorant yet transparent tweet is a window into the soul of what this Trumpian movement is about.
Whether it is über arrogant Mike Pompeo, or the two US senators Raphael Cruz and Josh Hawley, who painted themselves into a corner, they are all jockeying for the white supremacist base that Trump managed to galvanize over the last several years.

Pompeo’s tweet runs against every grain of how the world really works; a river running downstream gets bigger and more powerful as more streams, and tributaries dump out into its southward journey. It’s power; it’s might, rivals only by the mighty ocean into whose arms it finally surrenders.
The hatred and historical distortions that the likes of Mike Pompeo and his ilk represent must be shouted down as we shout down Donald Trump’s 1619 racist depiction of America. We must forever condemn, ridicule, and relegate to the dustbin of history, their putrid lies, and falsification of America’s true history.
Lies cannot overcome the truth. Hatred cannot overshadow love, and darkness will never drown out the light.

Amanda Gorman Stuns With Powerful Inaugural Poem, ‘The Hill We Climb’

Much of Wednesday’s inauguration ceremony for President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris felt like a balm to a wounded nation’s soul, especially 22-year-old Amanda Gorman’s beautiful recitation of the inauguration poem, “The Hill We Climb.”

Gorman, who was named the country’s first National Youth Poet Laureate in 2017 and is the youngest person to ever deliver an inaugural poem (as well as being an honoree for The Root’s Young Futurists in 2019), told the New York Times she finished writing the poem on the night of the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection.

And it makes sense, given that her words so perfectly captured the challenges and possibilities that are now before us after the swearing-in of President Biden and Vice President Harris. In a verse that powerfully acknowledged the role she was playing in American history, Gorman said this is “a time where a skinny black girl descended from slaves and raised by a single mother can dream of becoming president only to find herself reciting for one.”

The rest of the poem was similarly lyrical and inspiring. An excerpt:

It’s because being American is more than a pride we inherit,

it’s the past we step into

and how we repair it

We’ve seen a force that would shatter our nation

rather than share it

Would destroy our country if it meant delaying democracy

And this effort very nearly succeeded

But while democracy can be periodically delayed

it can never be permanently defeated

In this truth

in this faith we trust

For while we have our eyes on the future

history has its eyes on us

This is the era of just redemption

We feared at its inception

We did not feel prepared to be the heirs

of such a terrifying hour

but within it we found the power

to author a new chapter

To offer hope and laughter to ourselves

So while we once we asked,

how could we possibly prevail over catastrophe?

Now we assert

How could catastrophe possibly prevail over us?

Gorman follows in the footsteps of Maya Angelou, who read her poem “On the Pulse of Morning” at the inauguration of former President Bill Clinton in 1993. Another fun fact: the lovely earrings and birdcage ring that Gorman wore at the inauguration were gifted to her by Oprah, who also sent Angelou a gift before her own historic moment.

Democrats Win Not The End, But The Start Of A Better Group To Lobby…

Washington DC police officers crushed at Capitol Riot gets letter | wusa9.com
This is a Patriot, not the terrorists who sought to kill him to destroy the wold’s oldest democracy.

It is another celebration of the birth of Doctor Martin Luther King. As February approaches we will also be celebrating Black Histor month.
Every year we go through this routine of commemorating his birth, and correctly so, and yes we celebrate Black Histor Month.
Nevertheless, we run the risk of simply passing time, if we fail to recognize that each generation must fight the fights that those who went before us fought.
Today, the sons and daughters, grandsons and granddaughters of those who fought like hell to keep our ancestors in subjuctation, are fighting like hell to establish that they are the rightful heirs of this land that have been drenched with the blood of enslaved Africans who were forced to toild for hundreds of years without compensation.
On that basis, African-American women have stepped forward, not just to represent, but to save this fragile democracy from the ravages of those who claim to be patriots but are indeed traitors to America’s ideals.

Josh Hawley
This is Josh Hawley US Senator from Missouri who was the first to object to Biden’s win.

Through voter registration, getting people to the polls, black women like Stacy Abrams have changed the tide of history, and repositioned America away from destructive abyss of autocracy.
It started in South Carolina where African-American women stepped up and made sure that America would have a candidate that could defeat tyranny.
Black people voted in droves to make sure that Donald Trump does not turn America into a banana republic. he attacks against black voting rights will be intense in the future. it is up to every black American to ensure that their efforts to turn back the clock will not happen.
It will happen at the state levels in states in which Republicans have control of state houses. They will pass laws that makes it even more difficult for people to vote. They will try to reduce and do away with early voting, they will eliminate drop=boxes on election dates, they will engage in purging voters names from voters lists.
And they will do worse.
The Democrats will have the white House , the Senate, and the House, they must forthwith pass legislation to shore up the Voting Right Act that was unnecessarily eviscerated by the Republican Supreme court.

Ted Cruz a modern day Joe McCarthy…

Doctor King did not die a celebrated man; his methods put many people off. They thought his non-violent methods weren’t working. However, even as Doctor King preached non-violence, White murderers were murdering Black men and women across America; despite all this, the nation remained completely disinterested.
They blew up four little girls at the 16th street Baptist Church in Burningham, Alabama, on a Sunday morning. Ask yourselves, “who kills babies”?
Do you consider those who devised the idea of blowing up people in a church human beings?
How do you appeal to the better Angels of demons who blew up little girls in Sunday school?
If we move past the killings of the period in which white terrorists murdered Medger Evers, Dr. King, and all of the stalwarts not a great deal has changed.

Here are the United States Senators who betrayed their oaths and objected to Joe Biden’s win In order to facilitate Donald Trump’s cornucopia of lies.

Blacks continue to believe in turning the other cheek to the most strident racists. We welcome them into our most sacred places of worship, pray with them and comfort them, only to have them turn right around and murder us.
On February 6th, operating on a lie, throngs of those same kinds of demons who murdered Dr. King and bombed little children, overran the nation’s capital with their flags of hate. Their message?
Overturn the results of fair elections, kill lawfully elected officials, including the vice president, and install a fraudulent and demonic sociopathic wannabe King.
We even believe that God sanctions the abomination of slavery because of course, there are verses in the Bible extolling the virtues of slaves required deference to their enslavers. One right-wing former military leader told racial arsonist Glen Beck, that in the South [where he is], (Junior and Bubba) are getting tired of what’s happening in their country, that what we saw in the Capitol on January 6th, was Junior and Bubba standing up. Yes this came from a former General.
At a time when the nation is about to swear in a new president, at a time when the FBI is trying belatedly to vet members of the National Guard that are supposed to secure the inauguration, that kind of arrogant mindset sums up where we are.
This country continues to be on edge because one group of people in the believe they have the right to determine and dictate the rules of the game.

These are the 147 House Members who voted against American Democracy

Let us stop pretending that the people who invaved the halls of Congress are patriots.
Let us stop pretending that Josh Hawley , Ted Cruz and the others who supported this dastardly act of insurrection against the United States Government are anything but traitors to America.
Any [person who partipiated in any way, including to give aid and comfort to those who engaged in the acts of terrorism on January 6th, are no less culpable than those who broke the doors down, beat and killed a police officer , defecated in the halls of our democracy in an effort to overturn the verifiable clean and fair election of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
Anyone can claim to be a patriot, it is hardly what one says, it is what they do.
How long are we going to pretend that those people who broke down doors , shattered windows , killed a cop, and beat others in a vengeful quest to commit even more murders are patriots?
When will these destructive elements be seen for what they truly are?
Those who support an insurrection against the legitimate government of their own country are not patriots, they are traitors and terrorists.
White neanderthal insurrectionists against the government deserves no deference , neither by law or morality. They are regressive elements of a time gone by that should never be allowed to return.

This is what a patriot look like

The Trump movement must be seen for what it is a clear and unequovical attempt to turn back the clock through voter suppression, voter intimidation, and finally through insurrection.
Make no mistake about it, none of this was about economic anxiety. The corporate media fed the nation that nonsense during the racist t‑party uprising under the presidency of Barack Obama, we knew that it had nothing to do with any of that. Obama took cautious steps to bring the economy back from the brink. Republicans did everything in their power to sobatage his efforts in a scorched earth approach that led to slower than necessary economy recovery.
As soon as the demogogic Trump was elected they signed on to his tax giveaways to the very rich in furtherance of the failed theory of trickle down economics.
The failures that continue to set this great nation back is not of immigrant communities but of people who refuse to be transformed to a plurastic society in which all people have a fair shot.
That is the America that John Kennedy and Ronald Reagan spoke about. That America is within reach and all of us should ensure that she gets there.

American Visionaries

DEMOCRATIC VISIONARY
STACEY ABRAMS
When Abrams announced on December 14 that Georgia’s 16 electoral votes had been cast for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, applause erupted for the first Democratic presidential win in the state since 1992 — and for Abrams, the 2018 gubernatorial candidate who had argued all along that voter mobilization could flip swing states against Donald Trump. With her group Fair Fight, Abrams championed voter registration and mobilization drives in Georgia, Wisconsin, and other battleground states. They figured out how to draw new Black, Latinx, and Asian American voters to the polls, circumvent voter suppression, and navigate the challenges of a pandemic election, with a savvy emphasis on mail-in voting, early voting, and safe in-person voting on Election Day that will be a national model going forward. That merits applause. And the cheering will be even louder in 2022 if, as many suspect, Abrams runs for (and wins) Georgia’s governorship.

The phenomenal Stacy Abrams

As the representative from the Minneapolis district where George Floyd’s death during a brutal arrest in May sparked nationwide protests, Omar immediately recognized that this police killing of a Black man was part of a broader crisis. “We are not merely fighting to tear down the systems of oppression in the criminal justice system,” she announced. “We are fighting to tear down systems of oppression that exist in housing, in education, in health care, in employment, in the air we breathe.” Trump staked his bid to win Minnesota on a campaign that viciously attacked Omar’s challenge to systemic racism. The congresswoman responded with a turnout drive that boosted Democratic numbers in her district and helped Biden sweep the state.

Democrat Jamie Raskin Turns From His Son’s Funeral To Managing Trump’s Impeachment

Maryland Democratic Rep. Jamie Raskin was grieving on the morning of Jan. 6, having just experienced the most painful of tragedies: burying his 25 year-old-son, Tommy, a gifted student at Harvard Law School, who had taken his own life on New Year’s Eve after a bout of deep depression.

But this was the day Congress was to officially certify Joe Biden’s Electoral College victory — and with scores of Republican lawmakers vowing to object, Raskin, a constitutional law professor, had a job to do: He had been slated to help lead the Democratic response in a crisis that threatened to upend American democracy.

Daddy, don’t go. I want you to stay home,” his daughter, Tabitha, pleaded, fearing possible violence. Raskin was insistent. “I swore a constitutional oath,” he told his daughter. “I’ve got to go.” He invited Tabitha to come with him. “We wanted to be together,” Raskin said in an interview on the Yahoo News “Skullduggery” podcast. “I wanted to be close to her, and she wanted to be close to me.”

Raskin’s courage was tested that day when a furious mob of Trump supporters assaulted the U.S. Capitol, breaking through barriers and smashing windows. A Capitol police officer was killed, and members of Congress and staffers, huddled together for hours in windowless rooms, were exposed to COVID-19 by Republican colleagues who refused entreaties to wear masks; at least five House members have since tested positive.

Man Arrested With Fake Inaugural Credentials, Loaded Gun And 500 Rounds Of Ammo

A Virginia man with fake inaugural credentials, a loaded handgun, and more than 500 rounds of ammunition was busted while trying to pass through a U.S. Capitol Police checkpoint in downtown Washington on Friday, according to authorities.
The arrest was made at about 6:30 p.m., according to a police report tweeted Saturday by a Washington TV station. CNN first reported the arrest

Wesley Allen Beeler pulled his pickup truck to a police vehicle checkpoint just north of the Capitol, the police report said.

The checkpoint was set up after a deadly siege of the Capitol by pro-Trump supporters on Jan. 6 put Washington on a near-lockdown ahead of Wednesday’s inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden.Beeler, of Front Royal, Va., gave officers an unauthorized inauguration credential, the police report noted. His windshield stickers included one that advised, “If they come for your guns Give ‘em your bullets first,” and another that declared, “Assault Life,” with a picture of a rifle

When police asked Beeler if he was carrying any weapons, he told them he had a Glock semiautomatic pistol in the center armrest — loaded with 17 rounds of ammunition and a round chamber ready to fire, the news outlet reported.

Police later recovered the pistol, as well as 509 rounds of ammunition, shotgun shells, and a magazine for the handgun, according to an incident report from the Metropolitan Police Department.

The Incoming Democratic Administration And Congress, To Enact A Domestic Terrorism Statute.

Where is Missouri’s über ambitious US Senator today? Where is Texas’ dumb junior US Senator Raphael Cruz?
Where are the other ten Republican US senators, Wisconsin’s Ron Johnson, Oklahoma’s James Lankford, Montana’s Steve Daines, Louisiana’s John Kennedy, Tennesee’s Marsha Blackburn, Indiana’s Mike Braun, Wyoming’s Cynthia Lummis, Kansas’ Roger Marshall, Tennessee’s’ Bill Hagerty, Alabama’s Tommy Tuberville?

Here they are, the United States Senators who betrayed their oaths and objected to Joe Biden’s win To facilitate Donald Trump’s lies. Lies that led to bloodshed in the hallowed halls of the Congress. Here are the high ranking Government officials who knew without a shadow of a doubt that the elections were free and fair. Yet, they went along with trying to overturn the results of free and fair elections to install a dictator, thereby destroying over four hundred and forty years of democratic rule.

How will the United States Government have any credibility in the future, I ask, if these merchants of sedition and insurrection are allowed to remain in the so-called world’s greatest deliberative body?
Are we supposed to move along and forget what they did in the spirit of kumbaya? Are Americans, the majority of the nation, not the ignorant seditionists, supposed to go along with those leaders of the seditionists cult still embedded in the US Government? Should they continue to make and pass laws, knowing that they are enemies of democracy?

These are the 147 House Members who voted against American Democracy.

Congressional candidate's apparent ascent to Congress could be a "bellwether" for QAnon - CNNPolitics

Did Marjorie Taylor Greene Pose With a Gun in Front of an Image of 'The Squad'?
Marjorie Taylor-Greene„ Georgia’s Q‑Anon supporter„ poses with an AR-15 in front of an image of Democratic caucus members nicknamed (the squad). Facebook removed the image from its platform. She is now a member of Congress. These are the people.. Democratic members are talking about when they say they are afraid their presence compromises their security female members of the Democratic caucus expressed fear that while they were hunkered down with members of the other party on January 6th, while the insurrectionists roamed the halls, they decided to leave those spaces because they were afraid that their Republican colleagues would give away their location to the terrorists trying to kill them.

That is a serious indictment on the Republican party.
It now means that not only is it impossible for the nation to trust the Republican party, but the party is also a threat to national security.
I continue to say that there is no Federal Domestic Terrorism statute because it would ensnare white men.
It is now time for the incoming Democratic Administration, and the fully Democratic Congress, to enact a Domestic Terrorism Statute.
After 911 attacks on the nation, Republican President George W Bush proposed legislation now known as the Patriot Act.
Republican Officials did not waste time passing the patriot act, and with good reason, they got almost all of the Democrats on record, they were told either you support the legislation, or support the terrorists.
Now is the time to draft a Domestic Terrorism bill and sell it to the American people.
Then get the Republican Seditionists in both chambers of the Congress to vote against it.

GOP Senator James Lankford Apologizes To Black Constituents For Opposing Election Results

Senator James Lankford (R‑OK) has issued an apology to some of his Black constituents in Tulsa, Oklahoma for his intention to object to some Electoral College results on January 6. Lankford had planned to object to President-elect Joe Biden’s win but changed his mind following the riot at the Capitol that left five people dead. He sent a letter to “My friends in North Tulsa” on Thursday.

The letter said the senator’s actions “caused a firestorm of suspicion among many of my friends, particularly in Black communities around the state. I was completely blindsided, but I also found a blind spot.”

What I did not realize was all of the national conversations about states like Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Michigan, was seen as casting doubt on the validity of votes coming out of predominantly Black communities like Atlanta, Philadelphia, and Detroit,” Lankford’s letter went on.“After decades of fighting for voting rights, many Black friends in Oklahoma saw this as a direct attack on their right to vote, for their vote to matter, and even a belief that their votes made an election in our country illegitimate.”
“I can assure you my intent to give a voice to Oklahomans who had questions was never also an intent to diminish the voice of any Black American,” he said.

I should have recognized how what I said and what I did could be interpreted by many of you,” Lankford wrote. “I deeply regret my blindness to that perception, and for that I am sorry.”

Lankford has faced calls to resign from the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre Centennial Commission because of his initial intention to oppose certification, according to Tulsa World.
On Wednesday, Lankford told Public Radio Tulsa that he bore no responsibility for the violence at the Capitol but he hadn’t ruled out voting in favor of impeaching President Donald Trump.

And while I’m very aware that there were people there that were caught up and were saying that there were problems [with the election], I’m also very aware that when I talk to people one-on-one and I say, ‘Hey, do you think that there are some people that voted twice? That there are people that voted who were dead? That there are people that voted in two different states?’ the typical response I hear back is, ‘Yes, but that happens in every election.’ The problem is we’ve heard that for so long that we’ve become accustomed to [it],” Lankford said.

We’ve got to actually seek answers to questions, and people can seek to accept truth or not accept truth, but you’ve got to be able to get answers to questions.”

Lankford accepted that Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris were the legitimate winners of the election.

Sheriffs Helped Lead This Insurrection

Sheriffs play a key role in right-wing white supremacist movements.
By JESSICA PISHKO JAN 15, 20212:40 P

On Jan. 6, Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb made a promise. Delivering a speech in Phoenix during the ongoing mob attack on the nation’s Capitol, Lamb accused former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton of unnamed crimes and repeated President Donald Trump’s false claims about election fraud. “Now I’m limited to what I can do as the sheriff, but if you live in Pinal County, I assure you I can fight for your freedom,” he said before exhorting his followers to “be vigilant” and to “fight for the Constitution, freedom, and the American way of life.” (The video has since been deleted from social media.)

In the past week, it’s become clear that many members of law enforcement from across the country participated in the siege on the Capitol. That includes former and current sheriffs and their deputies. Ex – Gwinnett County Sheriff Butch Conway was at the Trump rally but said he didn’t march to the Capitol. He described the crowd as “a cross between tailgating at a football game and a NASCAR race — families, dogs, children. Everyone being nice. I mean, it was like a family reunion without some of the hatefulness you can find at family reunions. It was a very good crowd.”At least one current sheriff admits he was at the riot: Sheriff Chris West of Canadian County, Oklahoma, says he marched toward the Capitol building but did not enter. But long before Jan. 6, sheriffs have been helping to lay the groundwork for violence by the far-right movement. As political leaders in their communities, they have been sowing dissent at home, encouraging their own armed militias to prepare themselves to take back the government, just as Lamb suggested.

Police Departments Incubators Of White Supremacy

More and more police departments across the country’s length and breadth are forced to admit that their members were in Washington DC on January 6th and have played a part in the treasonous insurrection. Up to the [publication of this article, several cops have been arrested and even more placed on administrative leave for their participation in the January 6th insurrection against the United States Government.

Let me first say, there are many good officers, black, white, and brown, who go out and risk their lives to protect others; it is a job that I personally understand. But there are far too many that brings the discipline into serious disrepute.
If the population can not trust cops, who then can they trust?
New Hampshire to Texas and places beyond, Departments are forced to own up to the white supremacists in their departments after being exposed by the media or regular citizen journalists.
The social media accounts of many police officers are treasure troves of racist, violent rhetoric. Yet, their departments allow them to police communities of color they hate and want to eliminate. When they kill members of the public, their departments defend and protect them from prosecution.

In Washington DC, African-American members of the Capitol force say that their complaints about their white colleagues’ racist attitudes have been systematically ignored.
A length Buzzfeed reporting argues that the radicalization of white cops started after Laquan McDonald was murdered by a white cop Darren Wilson in Ferguson, Missouri. The report suggested that cops believed that the protest against them lacked appreciation for the work they do.
This writer, believes that is one part of the problem. Still, the larger issue (a) of white supremacists infiltration into police departments,& (b) the fertile soil they find in those departments, have gone a long way in fomenting the crisis the nation faces today.

American Plague: Racism Is Killing Black People and the Nation Itself - Rolling Stone

Additionally, police departments have always been enemies to the black communities they serve. Police departments have more autonomy and protection under the laws than the citizens they are sworn to protect.
Across the United States, Police Departments are unable to discipline or fire rouge elements in their ranks because of Union contracts. The result is that as states and municipalities are supposed to run departments, those roles have been flipped, and the tail ends up wagging the dog. Caught in the middle are people of color who are summarily murdered largely with zero consequence to their killers.
(Injustice Watch), reported thatThe North Charleston, SC, police department fired an officer for posting a photo of himself wearing Confederate flag underwear, days after a white supremacist killed nine black worshipers at the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church just miles away. He later settled a wrongful termination suit.
In other words, despite the offensive nature of his offense, the department was forced to pay off a white supremacist who should never have been a cop in the first place.

Images of police using excessive force against peaceful protesters are going viral - Vox

The Chicago Police Department has tried unsuccessfully to fire an officer whose own commander complained of his “bigoted views.” A Facebook page called Chicago Code Blue attracted attention for inflammatory comments — such as “Every Thug Deserves a Slug” — after an officer was found guilty in the death of Laquan McDonald.“Just another savage that needs to be exterminated,” wrote Booker Smith Jr., a Dallas police sergeant, about a homicide at a Dollar General store. “Execute all involved,” he wrote separately about a group of teens who were accused of killing a 6‑year-old. (One defendant pleaded guilty to aiding in the kidnapping. The alleged shooter and another defendant’s trials are scheduled for later this year.)
The Plain View Project, which monitors these behaviors, said when they contact police departments with evidence of their officer’s behavior, they are told that the information is forwarded to their internal affairs bureaus for review.
The lack of accountability that has become a staple in American policing is now becoming a national security nightmare.
Separate and apart from the African-American community’s complaints about police behavior, law enforcement is a wider threat to the nation’s security.

Police Reform: For a U.S. in Crisis, Hard Lessons From Other Countries - The New York Times

From the Federal Level to Municipalities, politicians of both political parties have turned a blind eye to police’s egregious conduct since policing emerged from the slave patrols.
No one would bell the cat; now, police departments are gargantuan organizations that generally make their own rules and play by their own rules.
It is so bad that citizens cannot have independent and meaningful oversight to the people they pay with their tax dollars. It is the greatest example of the tail wagging the dog.
Politicians who bow at the altar of police fealty are rewarded with cash and political support. This renders elected officials powerless to act to protect the public from rogue departments.
New York City, with its massive 30’000 plus departments, politicians who dare to speak out against the crimes of that department face all kinds of threats, including threats to their families’ safety.
In a normal world, those actions would not be coming from law enforcement that respects civilian authority.
The NYPD is not a normal department but an organization of thugs that murder, assault citizens, falsify reports, and lie through their teeth in court.
Even when they are caught lying under oath, no meaningful action is taken against them.

Police unions, explained - Vox

Even when they purport to [put methods in place to curtail racism, it turns out to be a bad joke.
(The Guardian reports)Deputy Inspector James Kobel had been relieved of his command in November while officials investigated the allegations he penned messages that the New York police department (NYPD) commissioner, Dermot Shea, called “abhorrent” and “utterly disgusting”. According to investigators, Kobel posted threatening, racist rhetoric on the platform known as Rant, a chat board for NYPD personnel, using the pseudonym “Clouseau,” drawing from the French detective in the Pink Panther film series. For more than a year, he attacked primarily Black and Jewish people and women, and the LGBTQ+ community.
The irony, James Kobel was tasked with leading its workplace anti-discrimination office. .…..Don’t laugh.

Ivanka Trump And Jared Kushner Barred Secret Service From Using Their Restrooms, Sent Them To Obama

The United States Secret Service agents assigned to guard first daughter Ivanka Trump and husband Jared Kushner were forced to use a $3,000-per-month rental toilet after the couple barred them from using any of the six bathrooms in their house.
The Washington Post reports that Secret Service agents were strictly forbidden from using any of the toilets in Jared and Ivanka’s house located in the élite Kalorama neighborhood in Washington D.C
This forced agents to find creative ways to properly relieve themselves, including trips to former President Barack Obama’s house, which is located in the same neighborhood, as well as renting a porta-potty.
The agents finally found a permanent restroom when the government spent $3,000 a month to rent out a basement studio from one of Jared and Ivanka’s neighbors.
So far, the government has spent more than $100,000 just to rent out the bathroom“A White House spokesperson denied that Trump and Kushner restricted agents from their 5,000-square-foot home, with its six bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms, and asserted that it was the Secret Service’s decision not to allow the protective detail inside,” the Post writes. “That account is disputed by a law enforcement official familiar with the situation, who said the agents were kept out at the family’s request.”

What Gives The Arsonists The Right To Demand Firefighters Hurry To Put Out The Blaze, Even As They Stand There With The Gasoline And Lighter?

How cynical and gratuitous are House and Senate Republicans in their call for unity?
Even as the Hallowed Halls of Congress was invaded, desecrated, and blood spilled therein, Republican right-wing Congressmen, including their leader Kevin McCarthy, call for unity but take no responsibility for their part in fomenting the insurrection.
Every Republican Senator and member of the US House knew without a single iota of doubt, that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris won the presidential elections of 2020.
Instead of taking responsibility for their actions, they engage in the default hypocrisy of (what-about-ism).
What about the so-called Antifa riots during last summer, they ask? They make no mention of the circumstances that brought people of all color to the streets in cities, towns, hamlets, the nation’s length and breadth, and across the globe.

More consequential, is the fact that it has been shown that many of the incidents of violence, including arson and mass destruction of property, were actually carried out by white right-wing terrorists, in the hope of igniting a civil war.
The idiocy of their (what-about-ism), misses a little nugget, neither (BLM)Black Lives Matter, which militates for equality, fairness, and an end to police violence, nor the boogeyman (ANTIF) Anti-Fascists, happens to be the President of the United States, who is sworn to uphold the Constitution.
The insurrectionist Republican caucus in the United States House of Representatives has some gall to talk about the George Floyd protests that engulfed the country after a cop murdered him in broad daylight, without denouncing police violence, or showing respect to the black community.
The House Insurrectionist caucus’s disrespectful stance cannot be ignored; it is now a full-fledged white supremacist caucus that threatens and intimidates other US House members.

How can there be healing when the people who created the problems we are facing are still in power, and have not been held accountable?
What gives the arsonists the right to demand the firefighters hurry to put out the blaze, even as they stand there with the gasoline and lighter?
How remarkably rich that these insurrection supporters now demand that Democrats abdicate their responsibility to the Constitution, and get together to sing kumbaya?
Look at what Trey Goudy and Jim Jordon did to Hillary Clinton in the Bengazi scandal they dredged up. Did they show magnanimity? No, they did not?
There was no reason for them to be magnanimous in the first place; Secretary Clinton had done nothing wrong.
Nevertheless, the Republican arsonists continued with years of hearings and demagoguery, which in the end turned up nothing either criminal or negligent.
The White supremacists caucus, now caught with its tail in the crack, wants Democrats who will soon control the two branches of the Legislature and the White House, to all of a sudden join hands with them and sign we shall overcome.

In the first instance, the absurdity of that is breathtaking; they haven’t taken responsibility for aiding and enabling Donald Trump in his efforts to overthrow the legislative branch of the US Government and make himself a dear-leader for life.
They have not conceded that their actions were criminal. They have not agreed that Trump did anything worthy of removal. Only ten members of their caucus voted with Democrats to impeach Trump a second time.
If Senate Republicans did their duty to their oaths, to the Constitution, when they had the opportunity to return sanity to the nation, the nation would not be in this mess today.
They abdicated their responsibility to the Constitution; the result is that the United States House of Representatives was attacked and blood spilled.
More consequential, is the suspicion that the invaders intended to spill the blood of the Republican’s own vice president Mike Pence, and other leaders of the nation.Mob storms US Capitol as Trump accused of 'coup'

One Republican insurrectionist argued on the House floor in defense of Donald Trump,” Lincoln did not seek retribution after the civil war.”
The reality is that Abraham Lincoln erred in not punishing the traitors who waged war on their own country. Let us stop with the nonsense hero-worshiping fallible men who made mistakes.
“Treason,” the crime of betraying one’s country, especially by attempting to kill the sovereign or overthrow the government.
The traitors who seceded from the Union and waged war on her should not have walked away after their defeat. A strong and unequivocal message should have been sent once the war was over, one that would have made it clear that if you betray your country, this will be the outcome.
Instead, Lincoln allowed them to walk away as if they had done nothing wrong. Because of those actions, they continued to believe in their cause to this day. They have erected monuments to their heroes, not just in southern states but all across the country and even at the nation’s capital.
The result of Lincoln’s failure to punish the traitors of April 12th, 1861 to May 13th, 1865, resulted in the White Supremacist battle-flag being paraded in the Capitol building on January 6th, 2021.
That despicable flag is what it was all about.

Kyle Rittenhouse Seen At Bar Flashing White Power Sign

Have you ever wondered what happens when murderers are granted bail?
Wonder no more, in this medium, we have stridently been opposed to courts allowing accused murderers back onto the streets after they are arrested and charged.
Instead of bail, I have advocated for a speedy trial, so that murder accused can have their day in court.
In the United States, when a black offender is accused of murder, he does not expect that he will be granted bail before trial.
Even if he is ultimately exonerated, he would have already served a lengthy jail time for committing no crime.
You may argue that I am contradicting myself. Actually, no. If a defendant is given a speedy trial, the problem would be remediated, to the greatest extent that it can be.
Poor whites, too, are generally kept locked up after being accused of murder; in actuality, the average person, regardless of color, can expect to spend whatever time the system deems necessary locked in jail to await trial in cases far less serious than homicide.
Of course, if you are a wealthy white or a symbol of white supremacy, you can expect to be granted bail as Kenosha Wisconsin Kyle Rittenhouse was after killing two people and injuring another after crossing state lines with a weapon.
A judge set bail, and white supremacists ponied up the money to spring him from jail.

Kenosha shooting suspect Kyle Rittenhouse is seen in Pudgy’s Pub in Mount Pleasant on Jan. 5 posing for a photo while flashing a white power sign.

(Yahoo News reported, Prosecutors in Wisconsin have asked a judge to order Kyle Rittenhouse to stay out of bars, and away from violent white power groups like the Proud Boys.
The request comes a week after Rittenhouse was seen drinking at a tavern outside of Kenosha after pleading not guilty — via Zoom from his lawyer’s office in Racine — at his arraignment Jan. 5 on homicide and other charges related to the Aug. 25 violence in Kenosha.
Rittenhouse, who is free on $2 million bails, had just turned 18 two days earlier. After the hearing, he, his mother, and several other adults went to Pudgy’s Pub in Mount Pleasant. He was seen drinking beer while wearing a t‑shirt reading Free as Fuck).

Black murder defendants cannot get bail; in many cases„ black defendants who are accused of far lesser crimes are [not] granted bail. Just imagine a black murder accused, much less one as high profile as Kyle Rittenhouse, being allowed back onto the streets and was caught in a bar flashing black power signs.
Do you think that prosecutors would be asking the judge to order the defendant to stay away from bars? Or do you believe they would be asking to yank his bail?
These are the two Americas we talk about, when we talk about the so-called Justice system. We saw how some police officers helped the neanderthal white insurrectionists to breach the Capitol, where blood was shed in the halls of Congress.

Rittenhouse’s attorney responded that his client doesn’t belong to or associate — even online — with such groups and called the state’s motion “a not-so-thinly veiled attempt to interject the issue of race into a case that is about a person’s right to self-defense.”
