White Couple Identified, Charged With Hate Crime For Vandalizing ‘Black Lives Matter’ Mural

A couple from California has been charged with a hate crime after they were caught on video on July 4th defacing a Black Lives Matter mural in the city of Martinez. 42-year old Nicole Anderson and 53-year old David Nelson were seen painting over the word “Black,” which had been painted in yellow, with black paint.

Both of them were wearing red shirts, but David’s shirt had Trump’s name on it with the expression “Four More Years”.
“We’re sick of this narrative, that’s what’s wrong,” David said in the video, according to ABC News. “The narrative of police brutality, the narrative of oppression, the narrative of racism, it’s a lie.”
Some bystanders can be heard in the background of the video telling them to stop, saying that what they’re doing is racist. At one point, Nicole even paused what she was doing and said murals like that should only be done in New York, adding, “This is not happening in my town.”

For about five minutes, David yelled “All lives matter,” to which one of the bystanders responded, “Until Black lives matter, no lives matter.” The two were gone when the police arrived at the scene. They only found a witness who took a picture of the suspects’ car, which was described as a Nissan pickup truck with the word “NICOLE” painted in silver. An investigation led to their arrest and the charges.
“The community spent a considerable amount of time putting the mural together only to have it painted over in a hateful and senseless manner,” Chief Manjit Sappal of the Martinez Police Department said in a statement. “The City of Martinez values tolerance and the damage to the mural was divisive and hurtful.”

Jamaica Ramps Up Social And Economic Support In COVID-19 Response

IMF COUNTRY FOCUS

The COVID-19 crisis is having a significant impact on Jamaica. The pandemic, which is severely hurting tourism and remittances, reached the Caribbean country just a few months after the successful conclusion of its economic reform program — which was supported by a $1.66 billion Stand-By Arrangement from the IMF.

In response, the government has ramped up its recovery efforts and established a special task force to effectively respond to the economic impact of the crisis. In this context, Jamaica has also requested emergency financing from the IMF in the amount of $520 million.
In an interview with IMF Country Focus, Jamaica’s Minister of Finance and the Public Service, Nigel Clarke, explains what measures the country is taking to protect lives and livelihoods from the impact of the pandemic.

What has been the economic impact of COVID-19 on Jamaica?

As with most economies around the world, the Jamaican economy has been significantly impacted by the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. The economy is expected to contract by over 5 percent this fiscal year. Furthermore, government revenues are expected to decline by double digits even as emergency health expenditures, as well as social and economic support expenditures, rise. Our balance of payments will also be negatively impacted by our considerably lower inflows from tourism and remittances, which prior to the pandemic represented approximately 20 and 15 percent of GDP, respectively. As such, the COVID-19 pandemic is having a multi-dimensional impact.

What economic measures has Jamaica taken so far to combat the effects of the pandemic?

The government implemented a social and economic support program called the CARE Programme, which provides assistance to vulnerable individuals and small businesses through innovative and existing delivery channels.

More specifically, the program provides:

  • compassionate grants to those who were unemployed or informally employed pre-pandemic;
  • temporary unemployment benefits to the previously employed who have been laid off or terminated since the pandemic; and
  • grants to the self-employed whose regular earnings have been disrupted in addition to grants to small businesses.

The CARE Programme also incentivizes employers in targeted sectors to remain connected to their employees. Transfers are made to businesses that retain employees (who are below a particular income level) on their payroll. Among other measures, the CARE Programme provides support for the sick, the elderly, the disabled, and those who were economically vulnerable pre-pandemic by supplementing existing programs.
In addition, we have supported new health expenditures. The fiscal year 202021 budget is being adjusted to accommodate lower revenues, new expenditures, re-prioritizing of previously planned expenditures, and utilization of cash resources.

It is also worth noting that, even during these unprecedented times, the government has taken, and will continue to take, steps to ensure transparency and good governance in spending and procurement associated with our COVID-19 policy responses. For example, we plan to publish key information on procurement contracts and, as we have already done with the CARE Programme, will request that the Auditor General’s Department undertake and publish an audit of COVID-19 related spending.

Jamaica’s strong ownership throughout its economic program and track record implementing reforms resulted in a stronger and more resilient economy. How have these reforms helped during this challenging time?

The most obvious way is that we have encountered the pandemic with significantly lower debt than we had when we entered the global financial crisis ten years ago. This has provided some flexibility.

In addition, we had accumulated cash resources of over 3 percent of GDP through public body reform, inclusive of divestment of state enterprises, and fiscal over-performance. We were planning to use these resources to accelerate debt repayment.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, however, we will instead need to draw down on these resources to assist in financing budgetary expenditures in light of the decline in revenues and the new emergency expenditures that have arisen. The reforms that gave rise to these cash resources have put Jamaica in a much stronger position with a wider pool of options.

Finally, Jamaica’s monetary policy framework was strengthened over the course of the Stand-By Arrangement with price stability becoming the central goal of monetary policy under a flexible exchange rate régime. This allowed for significant reserve accumulation with non-borrowed net international reserves increased by over $1 billion. Work continues to further develop foreign exchange and debt markets, which will be critical in sustaining efficient intermediation of capital to support increased investment in Jamaica.

How has the ongoing work in developing the Natural Disaster Risk Management policy framework helped in responding to the COVID-19 shock?

We made a historic transfer to our Natural Disaster Contingencies Fund, which was created to provide for unforeseen disaster-related expenditures of any kind two fiscal years ago. We were able to draw down from this contingency to finance some of the emergency social spending.

It was extremely useful to have this option. The amount drawn will be replaced as part of the appropriation process. However, we would not have been able to respond to the COVID-19 related emergencies as quickly and as nimbly as we did without the resources available in the Natural Disaster Contingencies Fund.

How will Jamaica make use of the emergency assistance from the Rapid Financing Instrument?

Given the severe shock from the pandemic, the proceeds of the Rapid Financing Instrument will be used to strengthen the reserves at the Bank of Jamaica. As of now, we do not need the financing facility for budgetary support. We are using our own cash resources and other programmed budgetary inflows.

Three White Cops Fired For Mocking, The Black Man Their Colleagues Killed…

Three white cops from Aurora Colorado have been fired for reportedly taking photos of themselves as they mocked the death of 23-year old Elijah McClain, a Black man, who died after police used a chokehold on him in August 2019.

According to reports, the three monsters attended his memorial, took photos reenacting the chokehold that caused his death, and then circulated them to others within their police department.
The department’s interim police chief, Vanessa Wilson, said all the involved officers were “immediately placed on administrative leave with pay in non-enforcement capacities” after she was informed of the incident.

Wilson added that an investigation regarding the incident is ongoing and the results, including the photo evidence and officers’ names, will be publicly released once completed.
McClain’s family expressed their disappointment with the recent incident, saying it was a “new low” following what the police did that caused his death, they said in a statement.

The family’s statement continues: “This is a department where officers tackled an innocent young black man for no reason, inflicted outrageous force – including two carotid chokeholds – for fifteen minutes as he pled for his life, joked when he vomited, and threatened to sic a dog on him for not lying still enough as he was dying. They tampered with their body cameras to hide the evidence. They exonerated the killers. They deployed riot police and spewed pepper gas on peaceful protestors [sic] at a vigil of mourners playing the violin. And now this.”

The Fantastic Deception Of White Skin…

It is easy for white people to say, “We got it made over here”, while detailing some perceived horrific condition in some other country. When you are sitting atop the pile, that is in and of itself, and the personification of what people are in the streets about, the very manifestation of ‘white privilege”.

WE”?
Define “we”.
Sure, some people of all races are doing okay, but for a lot of people, things are not so rosy. The problem is that so many white people do not know or understand their own history.
They have no clue that the planters divided the black enslaved and the white enslaved bonds-people along racial lines, in order to maintain control over them all.

Poverty in Nebraska

It was critical that they find a way to do so because of what was a burgeoning underclass that they were afraid they would not be able to control.
So they convinced the white criminals thrown out of Europe that they were superior based on the similarity of their skin color with that of the planters and wealthy estate holders.
They went further, by making them overseers on the plantations and slave catchers after they had worked off their period of bonded servitude.
Out of the slave ‑catching in the Southern States came [the thing we now call policing].
White [refuse]being dumped on America from Europe did not end until after the civil war ended.

In Apalachia

Still today, the one percent have convinced poor whites that they are somehow superior to other races in America. While all of us fight over the crumbs from their tables.
The middle class is being eviscerated, and more than forty percent of American families cannot find an extra $500 cash in case of an emergency.
All fo this, while we are at each other’s throats and they pile up trillions in their savings accounts.
Ninety-seven percent of the poorest counties in the nation are in Republican-run states.

In Virginia

These are counties that are heavily populated by poor whites, who, despite white privileges, are unable to pull themselves up by their bootstraps.
What they do well, is claim victimhood, and are heavily invested in hatred.
Stupid is as stupid does. As long as they have you fooled that your pale skin is somehow something which places you above other races in America they will continue to rape all of us, and all you have is your white fantasy of superiority.

Cops Are Also Shooting Pets In Black And Brown Communities At Much Higher Rates

By STEFANO BLOCH and DANIEL E. MARTÍNEZ

As the conversation around excessive police force has pushed the country to consider novel and drastic reforms in the wake of the murder of George Floyd and the widespread protests that followed, there is one area that has yet to gain widespread attention. Given the horrific brutality witnessed in Floyd’s murder and other cases of black, brown, and poor people being killed by police officers, it’s understandable that law enforcement killings of pets has yet to become a major issue. Still, it is worth considering what these killings can teach us and what we might do about them. Ultimately police killings of pet dogs only further demonstrate the racial disparities in police violence and the need for reform.

The reality of dog deaths at the hand of police says far more about how humans are over-policed than about dogs per se. The realities of shootings associated with and at dogs reveal one of the insidious and rarely acknowledged manifestations of state violence enacted in and on vulnerable communities of color.

Moving beyond the sensational media stories and activist accounts of “puppycide” that put the number of dog killings by cops at more than 10,000 annually, we recently looked at the data on officer-involved shootings obtained from the third and fourth largest police agencies in the country. While we found the percentage of dog-related officer-involved shootings to be extraordinary, the overall number of dog shootings were lower than what has been cited in publications ranging from the Atlantic to Police Magazinenumbers based on a gross estimate provided by Laura Mathews, a special assistant with the Department of Justice Office of Community Oriented Policing Services. To be sure, dog deaths at the hands of police do regularly occur, with the online posting of countless graphic videos — many of which include scenes of violence also being directed at humans—offering further evidence of the problem.

But as our analysis of the data on officer-involved shootings reveals, between 2010 and 2016, Los Angeles Police Department officers were involved in 417 shootings, with dogs being shot in more than a quarter of cases. For the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, whose officers were involved in 406 incidents between 2010 and 2017, dogs were shot 45.6 percent of the time. More alarming than the number of dogs being shot by police is where dogs are killed by police, as we discuss in a recent study

Single Mom Tried To Kill Herself And Her 5 Children After Learning Her Boyfriend Is Married

Many people were shocked when Itasha Brunson, a mother of five from Mississippi, documented her attempt to take the lives of herself and her five children on Facebook Live. She says that she wanted to commit suicide after finding out that her boyfriend was already married. Moments later, she was involved in a very serious car accident.

In the almost-20-minute video, Brunson said that she wanted to commit suicide and decided to also include her daughters as she wanted someone to “come with her.”

After posting her live video, Itasha reportedly was involved in a multi-car accident on I‑240 in Memphis, Tennessee, according to The Courier Daily. Brunson was reportedly taken to the hospital with two of her children for treatment on their non-critical injury.

After receiving backlash online, Brunson claimed that she didn’t really want to commit suicide and was just badly hurt upon knowing that her boyfriend was actually a married man.

Many people were concerned about her mental health following the incident. Others said she just wanted attention, for which she said she felt they were judging her too harshly. A GoFundMepage has been set up under her name.(adapted)

Jamaica Needs A Competent Security Agency Working Behind The Scenes, The JCF Has Not Been That…

I did not know him but the news of his passing came as an absolute shock to me in the form of a Facebook notification from a post of an old colleague.
Clunis just passed”.
It was not the kind of news anyone who supports the rule of law was expecting, and it certainly could not be the news that Superintendent Leon Clunis’ family was expecting, and on the day that he was to be discharged from the hospital no less.
On June 12th four officers were shot in an early morning operation led by Superintendent Leon Clunis. Detective Corporal Dane Biggs, and Constable Decardo Hylton were killed instantly, while Clunis and another officer were seriously injured.
The death of SP Leon Clunis at a time when he was perceived to be getting better, brings back in a shocking case of déjà vu the passing of his older brother Hopeton Clunis, who took ill here in the States and went home only to die suddenly days after telling me he was ready to go back to work.
Hopeton Clunis also served his country in the JCF before emigrating to the United States.

My personal grief at the loss of what is now three officers, has nothing to do with knowing either of them. I did not know either of them, but Jamaicans of all stripes who love our country have a shared interest in the survival of the rule of law.
The country we love cannot be divorced from the enforcement of our laws, and so we mourn for those who dedicate their lives to upholding our laws.
On a personal note, having served in the JCF, laughed and cried with my colleagues, toiled and bled, we know all too well what their sacrifice means to our country.
Without the rule of law, there is no country, there is no legitimate claim regarding the love of country, without a comprehensive understanding of the role the maintenance of law and order plays in that process.
As a former member, I have written hundreds and hundreds of articles, criticizing, supporting, pushing, cajoling, encouraging the JCF.
In so doing I have made countless recommendations to the political authorities on measures, that if applied, would markedly change and improve the crime trajectory in our country.

Regardless of which political party is in power, the national security apparatus hardly seem to be any better off.
There is no shortage of fancy language from the executives whenever the subject of crime and criminality is broached. What always seems to be missing are fundamental and concrete steps in the most basic aspects of policing in our country.
My own impression of this is one of exasperation. When we do not anticipate events and eventualities and plan ahead for them, we end up with incidents like the one which occurred in Horizon Park Saint Catherine on June 12th of this year.
The most frustrating aspect of the present circumstances within the JCF is that the very same sense of comfortability seems to exist today as it did almost three decades ago when I was a serving member.
Highly reactionary responses followed by a resettling, then back to the status quo.

The strategies of the past cannot and will not work, the elements within our society that are intent on breaking the laws and destroying lives do not play by the rules that the national security apparatus is playing by.
The idea in 2020 that cordons and sweeps will aid in lowering crime is not backed up by data.
The political interference into police operational perspectives have all but destroyed the JCF and rendered it a very expensive but useless paper Tiger.
I totally understand that the foregone is not the kind of thing that will square with the politically affiliated, civilian, or cop.
Notwithstanding, sometimes the truth is unpalatable and we have to take the bitter medicine.

One of the issues plaguing the JCF is its inability to co-opt practical, tried, and proven strategies.
That continued failure is solely the responsibility of the high command.
The failures of the JCF is the responsibility of the high command, contrary to what many members past and present believe.
Competent leadership devise strategies, delegate responsibility for their execution, and put in place measurable accountability markers.
This holds senior managers and middle managers accountable.
By extension, middle managers are responsible for the results throughout the entire department.
Accountability does not mean [pressuring, or creating a toxic workplace] for the men and women of the department.
On the contrary, clearly demarked accountability standards make the job of the junior members more defined and therefore more achievable.

Contrarily, the department has systematically adopted the hifalutin language of the upper Saint Andrew elites, and have allowed special interest groups to bleed unreasonable concepts into police training.
As a consequence, they have integrated unworkable policies into the JCF that are detrimental and downright dangerous to officer safety, poses an existential threat to their lives, and diminishes their ability to be effective police officers.
Jamaica is not the country for courtesy corp cops.
This may not be palatable to Andrew Holness, nor Peter Phillips, it may not play well with the know it all people in upper Saint Andrew, but real police work is not always pretty.
As a result, officers must be given the training they need to be able to meet and deal with all emerging threats.

Being equipped to deal with emerging threats is not synonymous with abusive policing. Being appropriately trained to meet the threats of today cannot be decoupled from effective policing in the 21st century.
Years ago I wrote that the JCF is on a course to becoming a courtesy corps. There is nothing wrong with courtesy [per-se], but when bullets start flying, the country needs competent police officers who know how to respond appropriately to put down those threats.
No one in their right mind could reasonably argue that the quality of the training being given to members of the JCF is up to par with the sophistication of the criminal minds in our country at this time.
Additionally, training should be an ongoing annual part of being a police officer.

The JCF’s inability to learn from events of the past, or worse yet, its inability to preplan strategies and contingencies to effectuate quick solutions when a crisis emerges, continue to be an Achilles heel for the force.
In article after article that I wrote in the past, I cautioned the police to pay close attention to the data the department gleans from deportees. That is not to say that all of the people deported to Jamaica are criminals, neither are they all on an inevitable course of committing violent crimes.
However, having access to that data which gives law enforcement a wealth of information on a returnee’s past, is invaluable to law enforcement’s ability to gather additional information and keep an eye on the most violent returnees.
A person’s past is sometimes a prologue to their future.

The JCF seems to be stuck going to work in the morning, going through the motions, going home at nights, then do it all over again the next day .….…day in day out. Sadly that kind of policing has long passed.
The JCF is supposed to be the preeminent security agency in the country. Threats never sleep, they never stop, therefore there can be no break in the continuity of vigilance needed to police Jamaica, one of the most violent places on earth.
Jamaica is nice, it is a beautiful place, but in order to keep it that way, it will require a competent security apparatus working behind the scenes.
The Jamaica Constabulary Force has certainly not been that force.

American Police Kill Because Their Protectors Move The Goal-post To Protect Them…

As the summer of 2020 begins to take shape, more. and more people are walking around wearing masks. And as the COVID-19 virus continues to demonstrate why it should be taken seriously in many so-called red states, *states that are run by Republicans,* as in Texas, Florida, Arizona et al, authorities are reporting a rapid spike in CODID-19 cases. Some pundits have argued that dogmatic political posturing has resulted in some people refusing to wear a simple mask, and that ‑that may be responsible for the spikes being recorded in those Republican-run states.
At the risk of losing steam in all of the COVID upticks, is the urgently needed issue of policing revamping and overall.

As more private companies, NGO’s and other entities begin to add their names to the Black Lives Matter cause, or rather begin to disentangle from the moorings of the sinking white supremacy titanic, and even as some of the veneers of systemic racism are peeled away, it is becoming clearer by the day, just how entrenched and institutionalized racism is, to the American construct.
Across the globe as well, people who have never set foot in America, but who now benefit from the bridging of the digital divide, are able to get a glimpse of what African-Americans have complained about for over four hundred years.
As such, they too are shining a light on America and demanding change.
The louder the calls and the more companies take action to correct this systemic problem, the louder the howls of pushback becomes from the *white-wing* media, as it tries to counter the truth of what people are seeing with their own eyes.
Not exactly the people the right-wing cares about.

The next time you hear them talk about policing as if it cannot be done without brutality and murder, understand that they don’t care about those being abused.
Years ago I knew literally all of the officers on the force in my city. As a small business owner and a former cop, I made it my duty to foster good relations with the officers in my city.
For their part, the majority of the officers at the time were good people just doing a job.
There were foot ‑patrol officers, bicycle patrols, and of course officers in their cruisers as well as the detectives.
Officers could be counted on to stop and say hello while they walked up and down or rode by on their bicycles or drove by in their cruisers.
And then it all started to dry up.….…. so I asked one cop, a really good friend of mine. “Hey what happened to all of the bicycle and foot patrols”?
He told me bluntly, “Mike, the chief stopped all of that, he wants us to come out and write tickets and lock up people”.

Let that sink in for a minute, for the next time you hear that there are no quotas, or that the police are there to serve the community.
They are not. They are there to crack skulls, bring in revenue, and to make arrests.
The for-profit prisons demand that cops make arrests.
Regardless of what police executives say in public, even if they do not outright tell cops to crack skulls and drag people to jail, the response by their superiors when it comes to their evaluations makes it clear what is expected of them.
District Attorneys and judges at all levels are an integral part of the culture of oppression of people of color.
The cases prosecuted by prosecutors and the disparity in the sentences handed down for the very same offenses between black and white offenders, tell the entire story.

In New Book, “Island Mindfulness,” Jamaican-born Author Empowers Women To Practice Self-Care During Turbulent Times

Women who are struggling to navigate the busy thoroughfares of life, while in the midst of a pandemic, and dealing with the enormous stress of fighting for racial justice, now have a new resource to foster self-care and create an abundant life. Jamaican-born author and publisher, Janet Autherine, has launched her third book, Island Mindfulness: How to Use the Transformational Power of Mindfulness to Create an Abundant Life.

Inspired by her island roots, Janet’s “Everything is Irie” approach to Mindfulness, takes readers on a dynamic journey to self-empowerment. The book is filled with heartfelt stories of navigating love, marriage and divorce, racial prejudices, and learning to adjust one’s sail in the face of financial and career challenges. Readers are encouraged to slow their pace, and in the spirit of the islands, mindfully and intentionally embark on a journey to nourish their minds, bodies, and souls, in order to claim an abundant life.

Mindfulness is an integrative, mind-body approach that is instrumental in creating balance amidst the incredible stress that life can bring. With Island Mindfulness, Autherine offers a refreshing perspective on the mindfulness journey that brings calm to any struggle. Born in St. Thomas, Jamaica, the Orlando-based author migrated to the United States at the age of twelve and navigated many challenges on her journey to become a respected writer, speaker, and administrative law judge. In Island Mindfulness, she shares how her humble upbringing, steeped in the principles of hard work, resilience, and gratitude, influenced her journey.

When asked about the motivation for writing the book, Autherine explained: “I wanted to empower women of color to speak their truth, practice self-care, and claim an abundant life. We weren’t meant to just struggle, to be strong for everyone else while sacrificing self-care. I want us to believe that we deserve to have meaningful relationships, financial abundance, spiritual abundance, and a purposeful life.”

In the wake of the horrors of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the stress of the international protests for racial justice, Island Mindfulness is a timely resource for those looking for the peace and productivity needed to create an abundant life, even in turbulent times. Through the lens of Janet’s journey, readers will find a treasure box of life lessons and a gift of peace.

The Supreme Court Gives Police A Green Light To ‘Shoot First And Think Later’

By Emma Andersson, Senior Staff Attorney, Criminal Law Reform Project

The Supreme Court just ruled that a police officer could not be sued for gunning down Amy Hughes. This has vast implications for law enforcement accountability. The details of the case are as damning as the decision. Hughes was not suspected of a crime. She was simply standing still, holding a kitchen knife at her side. The officer gave no warning that he was going to shoot her if she did not comply with his commands. Moments later, the officer shot her four times.
Shoot first and think later,” according to Justice Sonia Sotomayor, is what the officer did.

As Sotomayor argued in dissent, the court’s decision in Kisela v. Hughes means that such “palpably unreasonable conduct will go unpunished.” According to seven of the nine Justices, Hughes’ Fourth Amendment right to not be shot four times in this situation is less protected than the officer’s interest in escaping accountability for his brazen abuse of authority. According to Justice Sotomayor, “If this account of [the officer’s] conduct sounds unreasonable, that is because it was. And yet, the Court … insulates that conduct from liability under the doctrine of qualified immunity.” Worse yet, this decision wasn’t a surprise. And it certainly isn’t an aberration.
In fact, it is just the latest in a long line of cases in which the Supreme Court has decimated our ability to vindicate constitutional rights when government actors overstep. And when law enforcement oversteps, as was the case with Hughes, the consequences can be devastating.

Qualified Immunity”, A Wall Of Protection Around White Supremacy…

How do Millions of people rise up in opposition to a single event, demonstrate against the status quo for weeks on end, and a political party turn its back on that kind of movement?
You have to ask the Republican Party.
That, of course, is the Republican party of Mitch McConnell, Tom Cotton, Donald Trump, and others.
It is a white supremacist political party, that is controlled at the top by a demagogic narcissist who is completely devoid of morals.
The so-called [Justice Bill ]that the Senate Republicans put forward in the Senate was an affront to the over forty million Black people who grieve and console each other every time a cop decides to simply kill a black person.

The bill they put forward was blocked by Senate Democrats, and appropriately so. It was not a bill that addressed police violence in the country it was a bill designed to blow smoke up the asses of the people demonstrating against police violence, while giving a wing and a nod to killer cops that it is business as usual.
In responding to why they blocked the bill, Senate Democrats argued; it does little to ensure legal accountability in cases of police misconduct.
This bill is not salvageable and we need bipartisan talks to get to a constructive starting point,” Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, Sens. Kamala Harris, and Cory Booker said”.
For their part, House Democrats have already crafted their own police reform bill, but it is easy to guess that Republicans will not support it either, even though it has some degree of bipartisan support in that chamber.
Republicans generally do not support any legislation that holds police accountable.
Police misconduct is manifested in the abuse and killing of African-Americans all across the country. It is not a waning phenomenon it is a growing crisis. It is easy to see why the white-wing Republican party will not support any such legislation that holds it’s race soldiers accountable.

At the heart of the Democrats case, is the failure of the Republican bill to seriously address the seminal issue that is at the heart of the worldwide protests against police violence in America.
[Chief among the problems Democrats cited, is the lack of legal accountability demanded of police in the Republican bill. “In a moment calling for police accountability, the JUSTICE Act, your proposed answer to this crisis, does not contain any mechanisms to hold law enforcement officers accountable in court for their misconduct,” Harris, Booker, and Schumer wrote in their Tuesday letter]. (Vox reported)
That summation goes to the heart of the issue, their president does not want any accountability for violent racist police action. Making Senator Tim Scott the face of the bill was not about to impress anyone of worth, certainly not in the black community.
To begin with, Tim Scott has zero credibility with the vast majority of African-Americans living in the United States.
so having Scott spearhead the bill can only be construed to create a faux impression to the black community that if the bill was written by Scott it would be in the best interest of black people.
No one was fooled by that three-card monte.
Scott, a South Carolina US Senator, is the sole African-American on the Republican side of the aisle. In fact, there is not a single African-American on the Republican side in the US House of Representatives.
Yup, the white men have fully constituted where they are comfortable.

Let’s be clear, Republicans do not give a s**t about what happens to black people, former President GW Bush was reportedly deeply hurt when Kanye West accused him of not caring about Black People.
Regardless of how one felt about GW Bush at the time, or may still feel today, there is no denying that there is absolutely no comparison between George W Bush and the occupant of the White House today.
In fact, this Republican Party would not support President Bush if he was running for office today, that is how far to the right this cult of white racists have lurched to the right under the leadership of their white supremacist president.
The reality of this fight, is that to some degree activists have been fighting the wrong fight.
Whether the call is to do away with police and replace it with something else, or it is about defunding the police, the central issue as I see it is that all of those efforts will fail.
The cornerstone of police violence in America is white supremacy, bolstered by qualified immunity.

The American system was built on the concept of white supremacy regardless of what’s in the Constitution or the Bill of Rights. Those concepts enshrined in both were meant for white people and so every institution of government at all levels was designed around the concept of white superiority and white privilege, so too has the private sector configured its own policies.
At the top of the system of white supremacy sits the United States Supreme Court. The court has been on the wrong side of history on pretty much all major issues that significantly affect blacks from the infamous Dredd Scott decision to the present, and maybe even further back.
It is for those reasons that no one in the black community should be surprised that the court, in typically cowardly fashion, has refused to revisit the seminal issue of (Qualified immunity).
This is the very [doctrine it created] that has since its creation, allowed police to murder well over a thousand people each year, thousands more maimed and seriously disfigured, while the officers who commit these acts that are tantamount to war crimes, are shielded from prosecution by the supreme court.
This is more of an affront, particularly at a time when the streets are filled with protesters and all across the globe people are rising up against American racism.

Agreeing to remove the protective shield of qualified immunity from police would be the beginning of the end of the process of white supremacy.
If the police who oppress and keep people of color in check as a means of maintaining white supremacy are not protected from immunity, white supremacy begins to crumble.
Qualified immunity was never about protecting cops from being sued into poverty. That level of immunity breeds impunity, and it should not have been afforded in the first place. Police officers are given the power to take life, they should be held to the strictest standards of accountability.
Shielding cops from accountability was always about the lack of respect that this nation has for black life. The fight ought to be aimed at the very legitimacy of qualified immunity.
The battle lines must be drawn around candidates who are running for office and their stated determination to ensure that this ignoble standard is torn down.
Yes, it is important to tear down statues of oppression and discrimination, but probably more important is the need to tear down the wall that protects the race soldiers.

Wipe ‘Em Off The Fucking Map’: 3 Cops Were Caught On Camera Fantasizing About Killing Black People

When they tell you just how great American cops are and that there are only a few bad apples.…..
Well, as I said in an article days ago if 50 cops are on scene and 10 are engaged in abusing members of the public and the others do nothing, please explain to me how the other 40 can lay claim to being good cops? Unless of course, beating up and killing members of the public is department policy?
Well, you be the judge .……

»»»»»»»»

Three police officers in Wilmington, North Carolina were fired on Wednesday after a routine audit of dashcam footage caught them having violently racist conversations, including one where an officer said he “can’t wait” to “go out and start slaughtering them fucking [n — words]” in a potential civil war.
During an audit on June 4, a Wilmington PD Sgt. Heflin discovered that the dashcam on Officer Michael “Kevin” Piner’s car had been accidentally activated, and had captured conversations Piner had with Cpl. Jesse Moore and Officer James “Brian” Gilmore. In those two conversations, the officers anticipated and even glorified the prospect of racial civil war and looked forward to indiscriminately murdering Black people, among other racist comments.

Piner tells Moore later in the conversation that he feels a civil war is coming and he is ‘ready,’” Piner said, according to documents released by police Wednesday. “Piner advised he is going to buy a new assault rifle in the next couple of weeks. A short time later Officer Piner began to discuss society being close to ‘martial law’ and soon ‘we are just gonna go out and start slaughtering them fucking [n‑words]. I can’t wait. God, I can’t wait.’ Moore responded that he would not do that. Piner stated, ‘I am ready.’”
Piner then told Moore that a civil war was needed to “wipe ’emoff the fucking map. That’ll put them back four or five generations.” Moore responded, “You’re crazy.” Wilmington police chief Donny Williams, a Black veteran of the department who had been named its permanent chief on the previous day, said at a press conference that he would have no tolerance for the behavior recorded by the dashcams, according to Wilmington’s Port City Daily. “This is the most exceptional and difficult case I have encountered in my career,” Williams said. “We must establish new reforms for policing here at home and throughout this country.”

In addition to firing the three officers, Williams said he would notify the North Carolina Education and Training Standards Commission because “these individuals should not be allowed to practice law enforcement again,” according to the report. Williams also said that the Wilmington police department would consult with the district attorney to review cases where the officers had been called to testify as witnesses, to determine if they had been biased towards the defendants, as well as “if any crimes had been committed by the officers” themselves.
The conversations all show Piner, Gilmore, and Moore turning their ire towards protests against the ongoing national protests against police brutality and racism, as well as Black people they’ve arrested, Black judges, and Black fellow officers.

During a conversation about the protests, Gilmore and Piner voiced their disgust about videos of police officers kneeling with protesters, what Gilmore refers to as “worshipping blacks.” Gilmore also told Piner that it’s “almost like [Black people] think they’re their own god.” The audio also caught Piner and Gilmore talking about Black officers in their department. “Let’s see how his boys take care of him when shit gets rough, see if they don’t put a bullet in his head,” Piner said, referring to one Black officer, who Piner also called a “piece of shit.”
Later, dashcam video caught Piner and Moore’s phone call, which included Moore referring to a Black woman he arrested as an “[n‑word],” and a Black local judge as a “fucking Negro magistrate” and referred to her by a homophobic slur.
“God has a special place in hell for people like that, man. Hate ‘em,” Moore told Piner. “It’s bad because not all Black people are like that.” After Piner responded, “Most of ‘em,” Moore said: “90 percent of them, Kevin, 90 fucking percent of them.”

All three cops had been with the police department for more than twenty years, according to documents provided by the Wilmington Police Department, and all three had spent significant amounts of time on the department’s Special Operations team throughout their careers.
When interviewed, “each officer pointed to the stress of today’s law enforcement environment” as the reason for the content of the conversations, according to the report. All three also denied being racist.

A Pivotal Moment In The Deconstruction Of White Supremacy

They will never admit to propagating hate, but they never see a problem with white people doing horrible things to black people.
In fact, not only do they not see a problem with it, they vigorously defend the aggressors.
Whether it is police killing black people, or the likes of the white [karens] who take it upon themselves to call police on black people, hoping to get them killed for merely existing in their own skin, or whether it is the killers of Ahmaud Arbery, they always have an excuse. Their excuses are all too familiar by now, demonize the victim and deflect from the crimes committed against them.

(Rogue’s gallery of buffoons, beginning with this one, Rush Limbaugh)

It transcends gender but the morons with the largest platforms are pretty much white males. Michelle Malkin and alleged anti-Semite and white supremacist Gavin McInnes, founder of the sometimes violent Proud Boys group of aspiring thugs, Hannity, Levin, Beck, Limbaugh, Carlson, Guiliani, Ingram, and others, and of course a whole slew of other bottom-feeding crustaceans.

members of the Karen fraternity

They also quote black people, and even throw in a word of praise for the blacks who have sold their soles for a pat on the back.
You know the type, the Allan West former Florida Congressman who hated Obama, Larry Elder, that idiotic former Sheriff from Wisconsin David Clarke, who decorated himself with ridiculous medals the kind tin-pan dictators award themselves.

(Village idiot, and self-hating sellout, David Clarke.)

Oh, they absolutely love self-hating sellouts like this clown for example who resigned under a mountain of lawsuits and a 36% approval rating. At the time he resigned the country was told that he would be joining the Trump administration, which certainly hasn’t materialized.
Why would the right not love this clown? He personifies their beliefs that they are superior to black people.….… At least this ridiculous clown confirms that the very least they are superior to him.
Clarke has compared the Black Lives Matter protest movement, which aims to counter anti-black racism, to the Ku Klux Klan, suggesting it would team with the Islamic State to overthrow the federal government. He labeled anti-Trump demonstrators as “anarchists,” and said African Americans sell drugs “because they’re uneducated, they’re lazy, and they’re morally bankrupt.

(Yelping mongrel,Mark Levin)

But this article is hardly about those clowns, we knew they existed, they have always existed. House slaves?.….. Maybe, but there were good houses slaves we are told. History tells us that some house slaves actual listened in on the conversations happening inside the big house and conveyed what they learned to the escape movement happening on the outside.
It is difficult to refer to the likes of David Clarke, Allan West, Candace Owens, Larry Elder, or the two puppets on a stick that calls themselves (diamond & silk) and the many others as, (house slaves), that would not be fair even to the disparaged house slaves, so we have to simply refer to them as slaves.

(Psycho moron Glen Beck)

As for the bottom feeders who spend their days yelling into microphones, while defecating in their drawers, about how black people demonstrating for their dignity are communists, socialists, anarchists, and every other negative label their little minds can dredge up .…… To them we say, “shut up already, we have heard that song and dance before.“
People fighting for their rights are none of the things you would like the world to believe they are. You are only succeeding in making yourselves look stupid and even more racists when you insist that they are.
Of course, to the 35 – 40% of the country that follows behind these clowns like sheep, the disgusting and ignorant lies, they spew daily has become a cult gospel.

(Always yapping ‚Chihuahua Sean Hannity)

White men, the bane of this world’s existence, certainly does not get to tell black people how they are feeling. Either you join the movement or get out of the way. Yell all you want about the fact that racists statues are coming down. The reality is that these racist edifices are indeed coming down whether you like it or not.
It is always the norm to talk about black protesters in derogatory terms, we all know those terms by now, in fact, as woke black people we really are not bothered by them.
So when you scream thugs, animals, scum, terrorists, communists, socialists, leftists, we hold up a mirror to your face, so you have a picture of who you are describing.

(Bloated blimp Tucker Carlson)

A hit pig squeals the loudest. The group that yells the loudest is the group that is most culpable. When people of color stand up and say “no more’ to hundreds of years of brutality and murder at the hands of the white race we really do not care what names you choose to assign to us”.
We are simply saying we will tolerate any more of your abuse, neither will we continue to subject ourselves to your graven imagery and racist edifices. They must all come down.
Change is happening, it won’t happen all at once, but rest assured, this moment is the beginning of the end of white supremacy.

Unchecked Police Powers & Immunity, Resulted In Impunity.

No matter how badly police behave there will always be a section of the population that sides with them. They will tell you “if only the person followed instructions”. “If only the person followed commands”. “if only the person did not speak”. “If only the person did not reach”. “if only the person did not stand” “If only the person did not sit.” “if only the person did not kneel.” “if only the person did not breathe”. “If only the person did not say he cannot breathe”.
How about the police stop abusing & killing innocent unarmed people they swore to protect?
Of course, following instructions has never stopped a power-crazed maniac with a badge, gun & and whole heap of immunity from accountability before.
Police violence has been a staple in the black community for as long as blacks have been off the cotton plantations and have been herded into plantations of other designs.
Redlined communities, housing projects, and so on.
Nobody cared that blacks were being maliciously arrested and innocently convicted and incarcerated for crimes they did not commit.
Why should they? It was the law after reconstruction, it hasn’t changed.
Nobody cared that blacks were being violently assaulted and murdered by police. again, it was the government’s policy of containment of black people and in particular black men.

When [cop-apoligists] come up with convoluted reasons as to why people are being killed and viciously assaulted by the police, and when they tell you that it is only a small minority, consider this.
Ten cops at a scene where two or three are illegally assaulting and brutalizing a citizen, not one intervenes to stop it.
How many are good?
Four cops directly involved in George Floyd’s murder, how many of them did anything to stop it?
Not one. So it seems to me, that [aside from a segment] of the detectives who do actual investigations, and many are even worse than the street cops, cops in the streets are almost a hundred percent bad.
We can talk about numbers all day, cops planting drugs, their colleagues know that it is happening and nobody says “this is wrong”.
Cops lying in reports. Cops falsifying & planting evidence. Cops committing perjury on the witness stand. (judges do not hold them accountable when they are found to have lied under oath, neither have prosecutors). Cops leaving out exculpatory evidence which would aid in the exclusion of defendants from criminal entanglements. Cops sweeping up innocent people into fraudulent drug raids and lying on affidavits as to their involvement.
Cops beating up certain drug dealers, stealing their drugs and cash, then turning right around and giving the drugs right back to another group of dealers to sell on their behalf.
Please, someone, point me to the good cops.

Birth of a nation

The continued abhorrent treatment of black people in America and the brutality still meted out to people of color at the hands of police is as cultural as apple pie.
Not only has racist tendencies been codified into laws, the entrenchment of white superiority, and by default black inferiority, was encapsulated and memorialized across all sectors of American society.
In his 1915 film (Birth of a nation) Southern filmmaker D W Griffiths depicted the KKK as heroes while denigrating blacks in the most egregious and despicable ways possible.
The far from liberal [LAtimes] wrote: With sweeping shots and intimate close-ups, the 1915 silent film heralded the future of cinema, but its abhorrent depiction of African Americans and celebration of the Ku Klux Klan reawakened virulent strains in the nation’s violent racial history.“
The film was shown in President [Woodrow Wilson’s] White House.

Power tends to corruptabsolute power corrupts absolutely. Cliché maybe, nevertheless true. When the police are given the absolute power they now possess to keep the most vulnerable and downtrodden in place, given time, race becomes less of an issue, the abuse now transcends race.
Given enough time and power, the immunity bestowed on police was bound to lead to impunity.
As the gap between the haves and have nots widen, more and more people are forced into poverty, more and more people are forced into homelessness.
In general, blacks are always the most affected, but more and more whites are finding themselves struggling to make ends meet, as literally every dollar is sucked up to the one percent of the population.
The never before seen distinct mix of salt with the traditional pepper, after the police lynching of George Floyd in Minneapolis, may very well be attributable to white recognition that their way of life is also threatened.

There are several layers of excuse by those who would deny the crimes being committed by police. Not the least of which are (a) denying it is occurring, (b) make excuses for police, © demonizing the victims, (d) making the arguments that whites are being killed as well.
Of the four I find the latter interesting, because it seeks to rationalize murder as normal behavior.
As long as police believe that they have the power to do as they please without consequence, they will do as they please.
As long as the nation worships and idolizes police, attributing to them hero status, for merely doing a job they willingly signed up for, members of the KKK and other Neo-nazis will always find sanctuary in police departments, many of which are veritable cesspools of anti-black sentiments & activities.

Oh, in case you are wondering, it was bound to happen, as stated in the opening paragraph, given the unchecked power and immunity given to police, the violence would inevitably find its way to poorer, less powerful, and voiceless whites.
It has.….….Nothing tangible will come of this moment in our history, there are far too many powerful people who are dedicated to keeping a segment of the population on the plantation.
There is an entire political party dedicated to ensuring it.

JFJ Could At Least Waited Until The Bodies Of The Slain Officers Cooled…

Amidst worldwide attention being directed at police for what are serious issues of abuse and violence, it is no wonder that those with ulterior motives would attach themselves to this moment like a parasite to bare skin.
There should be no protection for bad cops who betray their oaths. As a former law enforcement officer myself, I have a record of speaking out in defense of law enforcement, while at the same time, excoriating dirty, violent, and abusive cops.

There is a delicate balance to be struck between ensuring that police officers are allowed to do their jobs with the backing of the people, while ensuring that police departments and their officers are held to the strictest standards of accountability.
The two are not binary choices, but are rather the template for the rule of law in a truly democratic society.
As the spotlight is being shone on widespread racism in American policing, the world is awakening to the concept that the so-called, world’s oldest Democracy, is not so democratic as it has sold itself to be.

In Jamaica, the anti-police lobby that calls itself Jamaicans for Justice,(JFJ) the force behind the poorly designed government agency (INDECOM), which became law and was unleashed on the police in 2010, would not allow this moment to pass without adding it’s two cents.
In a Tuesday Gleaner report (JFJ) asked [Are the police special) as it lobbies the government to give powers of arrests & prosecution to INDECOM.
INDECOM’s commissioner Terrence Williams was smacked down in the local courts, after he advanced the claim that the agency had powers to investigate, arrest & prosecute.
Not satisfied, Williams went to the UK Privy Council, where he was met with the same response.
As a result, he has determined that not only will he not seek another term in office, but that he would step aside this coming July.
Before waging his court battles, Terrence Williams knew that neither he nor his minions at INDECOM had the power to arrest and prosecute under the law.
He acknowledged that the committee of Parliament had promised that- that power would be added to the agency in due course. Nevertheless, Williams went ahead with a lengthy and expensive court battle, arguing for powers he already knew he did not have.

The sadness in all of this continued push by JFJ, is that the bunch of traitors in that anti-Jamaica group is again weaponizing the public against the police right after six members of the JCF were shot down, two paying the ultimate price in service to their country.
In alleging unsubstantiated coverup between the Office Of The Director Of Public Prosecution (DPP) and the police, the lobby argued:” police officers were getting special treatment under the law because, unlike civilians, there is a different process that could take up to months before personnel is charged”.
Responding to the unsubstantiated and scurrilous claims, the DPP Paula Llewelyn shot back, quote: “Clearly JFJ, are not in possession of accurate statistics; they have not done any empirical analysis on the system,” “They have not enquired from us in relation to the status of any matter. “They are clearly totally uninformed .”
That has been the modus Operandi of this bunch of attention seekers since it’s inception by Carolyn Gomez, out of JFK came a pathetically dysfunctional agency that has caused the lives of thousands of Jamaicans.
Carolyn Gomez was disgraced and chased from the public stage but her handiwork still remains, both in JFJ and INDECOM.
These days JFJ is under the leadership of someone by the name of Rodje Malcolm, whose title is executive director.
The bodies of the slain officers are not yet cold, but surely that has never been the concern of this anti ‑Jamaican agency, and the traitors who generate hatred from under its umbrella.

I caution both political parties not to go down the road of giving INDECOM prosecutorial powers. I know of no other agency anywhere in the world that has powers to investigate and prosecute its own cases.
It is a dangerous road that will lead to mega abuse as we have seen demonstrated by Terrence Williams. Williams abused powers he clearly and demonstrably knew he did not possess, in order to harass and harangue police officers who were merely doing their jobs.
The law-abiding people of Jamaica will not stand idly by and allow any more of their countrymen and women to be slaughtered while [foreign money] is used to persecute their police officers.
No one wants dirty cops to continue to operate with impunity. If INDECOM believes in the strength of its cases, let it investigate and present them to the DPP.
If this administration wants all cases of criminality prosecuted with more alacrity, it needs to spend more money building more courthouses and expanding the office of DPP, & staffing them appropriately.
We have already seen what INDECOM does with unchecked powers.
The Jamaica Labor Party created INDECOM with the full acquiescence of the People’s National Party.
They better not do any more damage resulting in the loss of thousands more Jamaican lives.

A Picture Tells A Thousand Words

You can never count out a racist demagogue who understands how to use the power of the media. In fact, this demagogue has been counted out numerous times before, and still, he comes back like he is made of Teflon.
He believes that there is no such thing as bad publicity, as long as his name is being mentioned on television he has skin in the game.
Joe Biden better start understanding that concept if he has any hope of defeating Trump in November.

After the Tulsa débâcle, Donald Trump returned to the white house looking disheveled and defeated.
But don’t count him out just yet.
Oh, and while we are on the subject of politics, where exactly is Joe Biden, and what is taking him so long to decide on a running mate?
With just over four months until national elections in November, the presumptive nominee of the Democratic party is missing in action.

Trump returning to the white house after his Tulsa flop

Is Joe Biden pulling a Hillary Clinton, she went missing for the entire month of August during the 2016 cycle, while Trump was campaigning with his trump plane forming the backdrop on any tarmac he could find?
If Biden does not get up off his ass and begin campaigning, earnestly, that label of sleepy Joe will stick and he will be an even worse toast than Hillary Clinton was in 2016.

Your Enemy Will Not Be Satisfied With Forcing You To The Ground, He Will Pile On You And Force The Life Out Of You…

WHEN YOU REFUSE TO STAND UP TO THE AGGRESSOR HE WILL NEVER BE SATISFIED.” ” HE WILL FORCE YOU TO YOUR KNEES, THEN TO YOUR STOMACH AND THEN HE WILL PILE ON TOP OF YOU, AND HE WILL SQUEEZE THE LIFE OUT OF YOU BY PLACING HIS KNEE ON YOUR NECK UNTIL YOU ARE DEAD”.

The biggest stumbling block to black liberation in America, is the [white wing’s] refusal to acknowledge black humanity.
Days ago I wrote an article which was a kick-off to what I hope will be a series on this subject of race in America and the issues that I believe are the accelerants fuelling that inferno.
The aggression we see coming from police toward black people is a small microcosm of the larger issue of hatred that a segment of the white community harbors towards blacks.
They revel in everything negative that happens to black people. They have weaponized police to be their military wing. Not that the police were ever righteous, but with militarization, KKK & skinhead infiltration, the powers vested in police must now be curtailed.
In a shameful twist of irony, the laws that are supposed to guarantee equal protection to all citizens, the very foundation of what democracy ought to be, is the very thing that has been used as a stick over the backs of black people.
They must no longer be allowed to weaponize police as a tool of white supremacy.

If you ever tuned in to AM talk radio as I do from time to time, you will hear the likes of Mark Levin, Sean Hannity, Rudolph Guiliani, Glen Beck, and a whole bunch of others spew racist bile all day.
If you ever wonder at the sense of antipathy towards black people in a certain subsection of the population, and if you wonder where the poison is coming from, look no further than [white-wing talk radio].
It is a constant drumbeat of mind-numbing racist invectives that literally leaves you with your mouth wide open.
You may wonder whether you have taken a time machine back to 1950 or whether you are in fact living in the year 2020?
They celebrate the police, regardless of the egregious nature of the crimes they are accused of.
Police officers shaking hands with heavily armed white militia members, while beating to a pulp, those who dare stand up against the injustice of police violence.
We have seen police fail to arrest violent white supremacist rioters but viciously assault and arrest those protesting racism. We have seen police officers wearing the patches of white supremacists on their uniforms.

The segment of the white population refusing to let go of white supremacy did not get to where they are today solely by being dumb on their own. they were dumbed down further by a media dedicated to the cause of dumbing it down. The end result of homogenizing and concentrating that block is geared toward the continuance and furtherance of white supremacy.
My great aunt was a literal library of old Jamaican proverbs. I found that every one of them was applicable to the situation to which they were applied contextually.
One such proverb was, (If you tek time search yu wi find ants gut).[Translation] If you search diligently you will find the intestines of an ant.
If you let people speak long enough they will reveal who they are.
What I find to be evident in most of the conversations coming from the [white-wing] is a refusal to acknowledge the issues that affect African-Americans.
Refusing to acknowledge the pain of the community is a continuance of the 3/5’s of a human concept, once enshrined and codified into their laws.
It is a perpetuation of a sick and convoluted belief, albeit ignorant and inane that devalues the lives of black people.
It is for that reason that I wrote, “when you try to change the subject when I tell you what offends me you are denying my humanity.“
When you fail to acknowledge my humanity you, therefore, believe that I am disposable.

Sure, I understand that like everyone else black people are far from perfect. I know that many of us do dumb things. Sometimes I find it incredibly difficult to stand with the cause, because I know just how dumb some of us can be. Just yesterday I witnessed an incident including a bunch of black folks that caused me to say, “Lord I sometimes understand why we are not respected”. Nevertheless, I just don’t believe that these are things that people should lose their lives over. Stupidity has no color.
When the Vice President of the United States Mike Pence was given several opportunities to acknowledge that black lives matter in an interview and he defaulted to the white nonsense of, “all lives matter”, then you know that they do not believe that black lives matter.
They know damn well that when we say “black lives matter” [we are saying black lives matter too].
When they default to “all lives matter,” every damn one of you black people must recognize that they are saying [‘your life damn sure doesn’t matter to me”.]
Because they do not believe that your life matter, and because they do not believe that my life matter, they do not have a problem when we are disposed of, by whatever means.

Former Daily Show host Jon Stewart in a recent interview said, “Police are “enforcing segregation.” “The police are, in some respects, a border patrol, and they patrol the border between the two Americas. We have that so that the rest of us don’t have to deal with it. Then that situation erupts, and we express our shock and indignation.“
I don’t believe I have ever seen it articulated any better than that.
The African-American community has always been forced to subjugate itself to white comfortability, enforced by white police.
That has been an open secret. The most pristine, most educated, and highly placed blacks, have horror stories to tell of having to subjugate themselves to the most unintelligent, unlearned, uncouth, uneducated moron with a badge and gun, making himself fit into whatever small space that white people allow him to exist in.

Black Americans, all of us, must know that when you give your lunch money to the school-yard bully he won’t just take it and forget about you. He now knows that you are scared of him, you are now on his suckers list. He will never leave you alone until you make him.
He will not just take your money, he wants to humiliate you as well…
As long as you allow someone to invade your space and claim it as his own, and as long as you step back to accommodate his aggression, he will never stop until he forces you off a cliff or up against a wall.
As long as your enemy knows that you are more concerned with living regardless of the conditions he forces upon you, he will force the worst conditions upon you.
If your enemy knows that you would rather live on your knees than die on your feet, he will continue to force you to your knees and then onto your face.
When he forces you onto your stomach, face in the dirt, with no place else to go, he still will not be satisfied, he will pile onto your body and he will kneel on your neck and he will force the life from you.

Neville Chamberlain the pre-world war two British Prime Minister, will forever be remembered as the man who tried to appease the animalistic Adolph Hitler.
Hitler, we are told, saw Chamberlain’s appeasement as a weakness. Neville Chamberlain signed the Munich Agreement in 1938, relinquishing a region of Czechoslovakia to the Nazis. In 1939, Britain declared war on Germany. Chamberlain, who had lost political support, resigned in 1940 and died a few months later.
Giving in to a bully has never stopped a bully, stepping back with the hope that your tormentor will leave you to live in peace has never worked.
It did not work for the Native-Americans, it di not work for Neville Chamberlain, neither has it worked for Blacks who have spent hundreds of years being abused and working without compensation.
Why would anyone believe it will work now?

Rayshard Brooks Spoke About The System Before Hew As Murdered (video)

I just feel like some of the system could, you know, look at us as individuals,” Brooks said, “We do have lives, you know, was just a mistake we made, you know, and, you know, not, not just do us, as if we are animals. You know lock us away.”
