God Is The Same Whether We Believe In Him Or Not

Christians use the Bible as the source of their Theological beliefs. Muslims swear by the Quran . Other Religions also have their Holy books which serve as guides to their form of worship. Christianity the Religion practiced largely in the Western World is now coming under increased th (1)scrutiny as intellectuals and others not content to have blind faith are questioning certain teachings in parts of the Bible.

Exodus 21:1 – 4 “If thou buy an Hebrew servant, six years he shall serve: and in the seventh he shall go out free for nothing. If he came in by himself, he shall go out by himself: if he were married, then his wife shall go out with him. If his master have given him a wife, and she have born him sons or daughters; the wife and her children shall be her master’s, and he shall go out by himself.”

Deuteronomy 15:12 – 18 “And if thy brother, an Hebrew man, or an Hebrew woman, be sold unto thee, and serve thee six years; then in the seventh year thou shalt let him go free from thee. And when thou sendest him out free from thee, thou shalt not let him go away empty: Thou shalt furnish him liberally out of thy flock, and out of thy floor, and out of thy wine-press: of that wherewith the Lord thy God hath blessed thee thou shalt give unto him.”

Exodus 21:7 “And if a man sell his daughter to be a maidservant, she shall not go out as the men servants do.”

Regarding the beating and killing of slaves, the Book of Exodus contains laws regarding punishment for the one who kills the slave as well as injunctions to avoid injuring the eyes and teeth.

Exodus 21:20 – 21 “And if a man smite his servant, or his maid, with a rod, and he die under his hand; he shall be surely punished. Notwithstanding, if he continue a day or two, he shall not be punished: for he is his money.”

Exodus 21:26 – 27 “And if a man smite the eye of his servant, or the eye of his maid, that it perish; he shall let him go free for his eye’s sake. And if he smite out his manservant’s tooth, or his maidservant’s tooth; he shall let him go free for his tooth’s sake.”

The Book of Leviticus prohibited the harsh ruling over other Israelites, but that slaves could be taken from the Gentiles.

Leviticus 25:44 – 46 “Both thy bondmen, and thy bondmaids, which thou shalt have, shall be of the heathen that are round about you; of them shall ye buy bondmen and bondmaids. Moreover of the children of the strangers that do sojourn among you, of them shall ye buy, and of their families that are with you, which they begat in your land: and they shall be your possession. And ye shall take them as an inheritance for your children after you, to inherit them for a possession; they shall be your bondmen for ever: but over your brethren the children of Israel, ye shall not rule one over another with rigour.”

Also, in Leviticus, a distinction is made between the hired servant and the slave.

Leviticus 25:48 – 53 “After that he is sold he may be redeemed again; one of his brethren may redeem him: Either his uncle, or his uncle’s son, may redeem him, or any that is nigh of kin unto him of his family may redeem him; or if he be able, he may redeem himself. And he shall reckon with him that bought him from the year that he was sold to him unto the year of jubilee: and the price of his sale shall be according unto the number of years, according to the time of an hired servant shall it be with him.”

There are many more instances in the Bible where the Abominable Institution of Slavery is actively condoned and counselled.

Many opposed to Christianity, particularly intellectuals of African Ancestry point to these instances which they believe to be the very words which kept their fore-parents in bondage for hundreds of years.

The institution of Slavery has been around since the beginning of man’s recorded history. Man has systematically engaged in the enslavement of each other. Those enslaved were generally on the losing end of wars. Others became bondsmen as a result of debts they incur.

Some believe the New Testament did not condemn the practice either, some go further to say Jesus himself did not condemn it. Some who come from the class which owned slaves argue that the Bible gives the practice legitimacy. Those who are descendants of those who suffered and died under the cruel yoke of enslavement, points to this as exactly the why the Bible should be shunned, at least by black people.

I do not have the answers for these questions. Was the issue of slavery so deeply ingrained in human culture that the Bible actually counselled how it should be handled?

When the woman broke the precious Alabaster box of Ointment and washed his feet, Jesus chided his disciples who complained that the Ointment could have been sold and the proceeds given to the poor.

Matthew 26:6 – 13

While Jesus was in Bethany in the home of Simon the Leper, 7 a woman came to him with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, which she poured on his head as he was reclining at the table. When the disciples saw this, they were indignant. “Why this waste?” they asked. 9 “This perfume could have been sold at a high price and the money given to the poor. Aware of this, Jesus said to them, “Why are you bothering this woman? She has done a beautiful thing to me. 11 The poor you will always have with you,[a] but you will not always have me. When she poured this perfume on my body, she did it to prepare me for burial. Truly I tell you, wherever this gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her.

This was an acknowledgement by Jesus that there would always be poor with us. Are the Scriptures relating to Slavery an acknowledgment that Slavery and servitude would forever be with us?

Whether the issue is Servitude or Poverty, it is important to recognize that the fact that the Bible references both maladies is not proof they are sanctioned by God. In fact the Scriptures are explicitly clear on how God wants us to treat each other,

If we follow God’s Commandments the issues of Slavery and Poverty are moot. We may chose to ignore God and live with our choice, he gave us free-will. Let’s not point to bits of pieces of writings which we believe indict the Christian Religion, then assume we are indicting God Almighty. There is much in the Bible which we can disagree with, it does not make the existence of God a less obvious.

Unless you have a problem with a scripture which says “Thus saith the Lord”, you are merely indicting someone’s writings .

NYPD: PBA Tells NY What To Do With It’s Outrage Over Eric Garners Killing

Lynch
Lynch

The PBA which represents NYPD officers held a press conference August 5th 2014. The purpose of the Press Conference as they saw it, was to push back at what they see as slander of the NYPD by people who spoke out against them killing 43 year-old unarmed Asthmatic Eric Garner.

Of course, they were quick to name their regular whipping boy Al Sharpton one of only a few black Americans with the balls to challenge them when they abuse and kill blacks.

Patrick Lynch is well paid to make statements in defense of Cops., what he doesn’t realize is that he makes himself less and less relevant each time he makes these statements in support of his colleagues. Lynch’s comments are relevant to his colleagues and those who hero-worship cops, no one else.

Police officers are paid to protect the public. The NYPD has developed a culture of arrogance which have them believing they are exempt from obeying the laws. Separate and apart from physical assaults and questionable killings, they have a history of falsifying reports to put people they do not like in prison.

Lynch insist that the deceased Eric Garner was warned about being in that area a week earlier. That statement speaks volumes about the attitude of NYPD’s officers, who clearly have a God complex. It is fair to deduce that Eric Garner needn’t have committed any breach of the law on the day he was killed, as some onlookers insist (he hadn’t). His mere presence would have been enough for him to be brutally assaulted and subsequently killed in a choke hold by NYPD cops.

Operating fully as expected they targeted the young man who video-taped them killing Eric Garner. Ramsey Orta was arrested for Criminal possession of a firearm. Now granted that mister Orta may have a less than stellar record , what are the chances the NYPD arrested him passing a gun to a female companion as they claimed ? Ramsey Orta’s wife complained that NYPD cops staked out their house, and shone lights into their home after he videotaped them killing Eric Garner.

Many people have long seen some cops including some in the NYPD as common Gangsters,. If this is true, and there is no reason not to believe her, these cops are out of control and are no different from regular mafioso.

PATRICK lYNCH

On the death of Eric Garner.

That attitude is a direct result of the lack of respect for law enforcement resulting from the slanderous, insulting and unjust manner in which police officers are being portrayed by race baiters, politicians, pundits and even elected officials. We are here today to send a message to all criminals in every community across our city that the charge of resisting arrest is a very serious and dangerous crime.”

Clearly what Patrick Lynch, who is hired by the Taxpaying citizens of the City of New York, is telling residents is, “as long as we feel you are resisting we will kill you”. These are not the words of Public servants Such unmitigated arrogance usually comes from Despots and Dictators.

Who works for who?

These thugs demonstrably do not have any respect for the people who pay their salaries. Not to be outdone the SBA Sergeants Benovolent Assc. issued this statement from its President Edward Mullins.

The attacks on the NYPD have become completely disgraceful and truly unwarranted. Police Officer Pantaleo didn’t go to work with the intention of killing anyone. He simply was trying to do his job. Would the circumstances be different today if Eric Garner was not committing a crime or had complied with a lawful order? The men and women of the NYPD are being unfairly targeted by bottom feeders and politicians who have chosen to placate a cast of characters whose credibility is less than moral. These attacks on the NYPD are wrong, need to stop and the hard working people of this city need to stand and support the NYPD.”

Anyone who believe that NYPD’S killing of unarmed African-American and Latino men will come to an end anytime soon is grossly misguided. Nothing short of Federal supervision of this Department will bring any meaningful change in attitude.

The problem with the NYPD is one of attitude. They do not believe they are accountable to the citizens of New York, and God forbid certainly not the Black and Brown citizens of the city.

On the arrest Ramsey Orta.

The arrest of Ramsey Orta for criminal possession of a firearm only underscores the dangers that brought police officers to respond to a chronic crime condition in that community. It is criminals like Mr. Orta who carry illegal firearms who stand to benefit the most by demonizing the good work of police officers. Sadly, in the effort to keep neighborhoods like Tompkinsville safe, a tragedy occurred. But that doesn’t change the fact that police officers routinely risk their lives for the benefit of the community and that they have earned their support and understanding.

I guess this is an improvement over previous instances when they tell residents shut the f*** up and call a criminal next time you need a cop. The fact is the citizens are less and less sure who is criminal from who is cop.

SINKHOLES

Continuing our series on events happening around the world, we look today at Sink-Holes.

th (19)

Sink-holes have popped up all around the world . In case after case Scientists and local officials have explained the reasons that the holes have appeared.

berezniki_sinkhole
berezniki_sinkhole

In Russia, the ground moves you. Berezniki’s sinkhole began in 1986 and just grows worse with each passing year. It’s unstoppable. Currently it’s over 200m deep, 80m long and 40m wide. In case you’re thinking “Berezniki? Who cares?” you should know that 10% of the world output of potash comes from this area, and the sinkhole is very close to destroying the mine’s sole rail line.

sinkhole-665x385ABC news 7 reports that the homes that are precariously balancing on the edges of the sinkhole in Sumter County are located in the retirement community known as The Villages, and what started as just a tiny opening in the earth a few weeks ago quickly turned into a raging maw of doom. Giovanni Velocci, a neighbor who lives across the street from the two homes, said he was on his morning walk when he noticed the sinkhole that had opened up the previous night.

These are just a few of hundreds of instances where Giant sinkholes have appeared in random places . These events have Scientists baffled . In some cases Authorities are able to figure out why they appear, but in others their appearance leaves Authorities baffled.

An engineer surveys in front of the home where a sinkhole opened up late Thursday near Tampa, Fla. A man who had been in one of the home's bedrooms screamed for help and disappeared. It's feared he died.

What does the Bible say about these events?

Matthew 21:25 – 28
And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars: and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring. Men’s heart’s failing them for fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the power of the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see the son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”

We ignore these events to our detriment !

ISRAEL : An Undisciplined Child

Netanyahu
Netanyahu

Have you ever been in a Supermarket, on a flight, or in other public places and see kids acting up to the chagrin and embarrassment of their parents? Yet you smile to yourself because you know many of those parents had not laid any disciplinary framework for the kid, and are only then trying to discipline the kid out of embarrassment.

The United States reportedly gives over 3 Billion Dollars in direct Aid to Israel each year, the average American citizen has no idea just how much more of their tax dollars are sent to the Zionist state indirectly. America Unequivocally supports Israeli actions against Palestinian and other Middle Eastern Nations even when the rest of the World cry foul to Israel’s actions.

As I have alluded to in previous blogs, one cannot be elected dog-catcher in the United States unless he/she drinks at the Well of Israeli Righteousness. Critics are summarily dismissed as irrelevant, or branded anti-Semitic. It matters not whether the criticisms being leveled at Israel are justified. Venom and backlash are sure to follow.

John Hagee
John Hagee

Pastors like John Hagee preaches curse and destruction on anyone who dares to comparatively look at the actions of Israel and say wait just a minute, this here is wrong. What makes the likes of Hagee less than credible, is their hypocritical one-sided view of things.

It matters not how many babies and innocent people are killed by Israel , it is all par for the course for those of the John Hagee ilk. It is all justified and necessary because it is all for Israel’s survival. What makes these pontificaters dangerous is that they use Biblical Scriptures to justify Israel’s war crimes against humanity.

No other Nation on earth would be allowed to kill so many innocents and get away with it. The United States is ratcheting up sanctions against Russia for its reunification with Crimea. Of course the Russians believe they cannot annex a region which has been part of Russia historically, but I digress.

America waged war on Iraq supposedly over suspicions of banned weapons. America waged war in Yugoslavia over Slobodan Milosevic’s alleged killing of Muslims. America has staked out a moral high-ground on the issue of Human rights, and on the mass killing of innocent people for the rest of the world, yet on Israel it is silent.

President Obama seem an unwilling servant of the Zionist state of Israel , yet he has to cow-tow even as the world’s most powerful man, in support of the Israeli narrative. Amy Goodman of Democracy now reports.

The threat of more violence follows a week that saw Israel kill at least 192 Palestinians in a massive bombing campaign on one of the world’s most densely populated areas. The United Nations estimates more than 80 percent of Gaza’s dead are civilians, including 36 children. More than a thousand rockets from Gaza have hit Israel over the same period, with just a fraction landing in urban areas. Around a dozen Israelis have been wounded. There have been no Israelis reported killed.

The Huffington Post reports:

Following the quick collapse of the cease-fire in Gaza, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told the White House not to force a

Obama
Obama

truce with Palestinian militants on Israel.

Sources familiar with conversations between Netanyahu and senior U.S. officials, including Secretary of State John Kerry, say the Israeli leader advised the Obama administration “not to ever second guess me again” on the matter. The officials also said Netanyahu said he should be “trusted” on the issue and about the unwillingness of Hamas to enter into and follow through on cease-fire talks.

Well what do you know? Remember those undisciplined children you last encountered? Those kids who roamed around and caused discomfort and embarrassment to everyone including you and their parents?.…… Ditto !!!

The fact is that Israel has been sheltered and protected by major western powers, including the US and England for decades. The state of Israel has been able to circumvent and abrogate International Laws without consequences while hiding behind the aforementioned powers.

At the heart of almost every conflict in the Middle East is the issue of Israeli Occupation and dehumanization of the Palestinian people. Many of the Christian Pastors who pontificate on this issue, fail to mention the fact that most Palestinian dead are innocent children and the most vulnerable.

What they also fail to mention, is that many Palestinian dead are CHRISTIANS, not discard-able ‚disposable Muslims as they would have you believe.

Thousands of dead turtle and doves rained down on roofs and cars in an Italian town were victims of their on greed, an expert claimed today. Residents in Faenza described the birds falling to the ground like ‘little Christmas balls’ with strange blue stains on their beaks. Initial tests on up to 8,000 of the doves indicated that the blue stain could have been caused by poisoning or hypoxia. Hypoxia, a lack of oxygen, is known to cause confusion and illness in animals. It is also a common precursor to altitude sickness. It comes after two million dead fish were found to have washed up on shores in Chesapeake Bay, Maryland. That investigation comes just days after the deaths of an estimated 100,000 fish in northwest Arkansas, which is being blamed on disease.

Cold water stress exacerbated by a large population of the affected species (juvenile spot fish) appears to be the cause of the kill.’ Preliminary tests of the water in Chesapeake Bay have shown the quality was acceptable, officials said. http://jowarrior.wordpress.com/2011/01/09/why-are-animals-dying-all-over-the-world/

In many cases when theses events occur local authorities quickly come up with explanations as what may have caused the event. Notwithstanding, whether birds die from eating too much, or pollution causes the death of fish, do these explanations negate Biblical prophesies?

Irrespective of causation these events are occurring just as the Scriptures said they would. Does man’s explanations and guesses make these events any less true?

Police Violence

women are not exempt
women are not exempt

In New York City, over the past decade, cops made 55,000 arrests where the top charge was resisting arrest, according to data from the state’s Division of Criminal Justice Services. That means the misdemeanor or infraction cops originally pursued was less serious than what happened during the arrest. Special felony assault charges for people accused of injuring a cop or other public safety worker. Those are the top charges in more than 1,300 cases each year. But disposition data shows the charges rarely hold up in court. Attorneys said that’s because in many cases it’s the citizen who was hurt, but cops add the assault charge to justify their use of force. http://www.wnyc.org/story/when-broken-windows-leads-busted-heads/

Yesterday I talked about Police using excessive force and in many cases escalating minor infractions which ultimately leads to a violent arrests. As I indicated yesterday

woman 7 months pregnant being arrested allegedly for grilling on sidewalk
woman 7 months pregnant being arrested allegedly for grilling on sidewalk

from my experience it is the attitude of police officers which largely leads

to a confrontation between police and citizen. Police officers do not have to turn their backs on small offences. It is important to pursue minor offences, if left unchecked minor offences do lead to larger crimes. Police do not need to have their hands tied, they simply have to exercise better judgement with the powers they are given. It is important that cops realize the powers they have are given to them by citizens.

New York City’s Mayor Bill De Blasio came to office vowing to improve Police community relations. His Police Commissioner William Bratton who served under Rudolph Giuliani, under whose Administration Police pretty much did what they wanted to minorities , said :

We will continue to aggressively pursue quality of life offenses. But there could be other ways to handle people accused of such crimes. “If it requires arrest, fine. But if it only requires an admonition — ‘Move along, you can’t do that.’ — Well, I want to make sure our officers understand that they’re given great powers of discretion”.

oh yes he said it
oh yes he said it

Bratton’s comments are a good start, though I could have done without the word aggressively . Not every cop understands that aggressively going after minor offences

e very arrest seem to have a certain degree of violence
every arrest seem to have a certain degree of violence

doesn’t necessarily mean being aggressive with members of the public. It’s important Precinct and shift Commanders understands this.

In the past, some Commanders have pressured officers to be aggressive. Many officers feel the pressure and are sometimes offended, yet they toe the line. Those who speak out are branded liars and trouble makers.

Experience taught me, if someone offends they will most likely respond positively to an officer who respectfully points out the infraction and gives the person a warning. Conversely, people are offended when cops are rude and aggressive to them even though they may have committed an offence, they do not take kindly to being spoken down to. If an officer feels abused by an offender he tries to give a warning to, then an arrest is in order. Police officers must be reminded and should remind themselves, when someone offend they offend against the state and not the officer. Adopting that mentality prevents officers from personalizing things . Personalizing what an offender does leads to confrontation.

All of this is premised however, on the notion that police departments want to eliminate or reduce confrontation with members of the public. From all indications there is no evidence in support of that theory. As I pointed out yesterday several states have actually passed new laws allowing cops to arrest citizens who have committed no crime except to videotape police actions against other members of the public. It would be laughable if it wasn’t so serious that these new laws gives cops the say-so whether someone can videotape their actions. Every citizen plugged in should be terrified that their rights are being abrogated by those they elect to look out for their interest. The question remains as always, “in whose interest are these tyrannical laws being implemented”?

The answer may be simpler than you think.

Are Your Local Cops Becoming Far More Abusive?

this is not the image of a dying man, it is the image of a dead man . eyes wide open.
This is not the image of a dying man; it is the image of a dead man. Eyes wide open.

This may be more for former Law Enforcement Officers than others. Does it seem like Cops of today are abusing their authority much more than when you served? It’s okay to speak freely without fear of being branded anti-cop. After all, those who wore uniforms and braved the bullets have earned the right to speak without fearing being silenced with the anti-cop tarbrush.

♦How about telling a suspect, “you are under arrest; turn around, and place your hands behind your back, please”?

♦ What is the need to wrestle every suspect to the ground with multiple cops piling on to effect a simple arrest?

♦Is it necessary for police to escalate every minor infraction to agitate citizens

cop delivers kick to cuffed woman's face, how can this be justified
Cop delivers a kick to cuffed woman’s face. How can this be justified?

so they may have an excuse to use force?

More and more, we see police officers betraying the sacred trust of the citizens who pay their salaries by abusing and even killing the people they are sworn to protect. Every time there is an incident where a cop is shot or even shot at, Mayors and police Brass, and Unions fall over themselves to talk about the dangers police face. We get that; that’s what every cop signed up for.

What happens to the citizen police abuse? Are the police out there serving themselves, or do they serve the public? When did citizens become servants of cops they paid to protect them? In case after case, we see cops abusing citizens. Police brass and their Unions respond with absolute disdain and contempt for the public. It’s as if they are Monarchs ruling by decree.

Of course, the job has dangers, so cops are trained to deal with those dangers when they arise. That’s why cops are given the tools with which to protect themselves. Including the power of life and death over citizens

citizens should be afraid , very afraid
citizens should be afraid.

That power of life and death can be an intoxicating drug that seems now to be influencing many a police officer’s behavior. Police Officers cannot continue to abuse members of the public and then fabricate stories, further putting the aggrieved citizen in further jeopardy. If an officer cannot function in their capacity, they should find alternative employment.

I served in Kingston, Jamaica, one of the world’s most violent cities. I have been shot in the line of duty, and I have been shot multiple times.

home of the free land of the brave
home of the free land of the brave

Yet it never influenced me to be disrespectful or abusive to citizens. Yes, using force to effect an arrest is sometimes necessary, just not as often as these cops use it.

Video evidence highlights the violence and disrespect police show and visit citizens. Even more frightening is the lengths they go to in fabricating evidence. This should scare every man, woman, and child in this Nation.

All too often, we read or hear of cases where Prosecutors are forced to drop charges against an accused because evidence surfaced showing cops fabricated charges. The question is, why are they not charged? Why are cops subject to different rules?

this happens daily
This happens daily

Fabricating evidence to gain a conviction is one of the most reprehensible things a police officer can do. It is an egregious breach of the sacred trust between police and citizen. An important creed of any law enforcement Agency must be that it is better for a guilty party to go free than for the innocent to be convicted.

No stone should be left unturned in the quest to bring the guilty to justice; despite that, the rights of the innocent must trump that desire. We are mere slaves to the law if our God-given right to life and liberty can be snatched away on the whim and at the discretion of a single cop with an agenda.

POLICE STATE

women are not exempt from abuse, particularly women of color
women are not exempt from abuse, particularly women of color

According to Jerome Herbert Skolnick, in dealing largely with disorderly elements of society, some people working in law enforcement may gradually develop an attitude or sense of authority over society, particularly under traditional reaction-based policing models; in some cases, the police believe that they are above the law.

Twelve states have adopted “eavesdropping” laws prohibiting people from videotaping police actions without the officers’ consent. And in California, police officials have openly stated that they will arrest people taking photographs without “apparent esthetic value” if those people seem suspicious. Several courts have ruled these policies unconstitutional. http://www.pbs.org/wnet/need-to-know/the-daily-need/are-we-becoming-a-police-state-five-things-that-have-civil-liberties-advocates-nervous/12563/.

What cop will grant consent to members of the public to photograph them abusing someone? Let’s agree that State Legislators who give such sweeping powers

despite the evidence many turn away in pretense
despite the evidence many turn away in pretense

police are not all idiots. We must assume, then, that there are issues far deeper and more sinister why they feel obliged to pass these laws.

In most cases, Police actions are totally sanitized. Even credentialed Journalists are barred from scenes of operation. Some lackeys who write what they want are allowed on-site. Demonstrations in America now have to be approved by .…. you guessed it, the Police. They decide where demonstrators are allowed to congregate, usually so far away from the target of the demonstration that it renders the protest null and void.

In some cases, Journalists have kept miles away from operation sites under the guise that it’s for their protection. Generally, those operations end with suspects killed after sustained firefights, and in a few cases, their bodies are burnt beyond recognition. Every citizen who feels this is in their interest must ask themself whether they or their loved ones are immune from a similar fate.th (4)

Whose interest are the police serving? Do cops still serve the interest of the citizens they swore to protect? Or are officers now tools of the corporate and political Oligarchs? Driving down any New York State Highway on a summer day, you will most likely see a State Police Car lurking in a median or with lights flashing have someone pulled over every two miles or so. Generally, they pull motorists over in places that put the motoring public at serious risk. What did New York State do? The state passed additional law requiring motorists to move into the next lane away from the cop. This places the burden of avoiding the cop on members of the traveling public.

If guidelines require them to pull over motorists in safe places, it isn’t obvious from what I have seen. In the event of an accident on a rainy day, you will probably wait upward of an hour before a cop shows up. Where are all the cops on rainy days when the public likely needs assistance? The fact is that they are not there to serve the interest of the public, and they serve as tax collectors for the ever-money-hungry state.

humiliation
humiliation

This does not mean all police officers are bad; besides friends, I also have family members who are police officers. Most are caught up in a Tsunami they have little or no control over. Many officers who dare to speak out against abuse are sidelined or harassed out of their respective departments.

Most of us who have worn a Police officer’s uniform will honestly attest to having had to speak to a colleague about their behavior, and some of us may have spoken to ourselves. This brutish bravado being displayed by police officers is not an American phenomenon alone.

What bothers me is America’s insistence on fidelity to Human Rights for smaller Countries. Most of these Nations have exponentially fewer resources for support and training than their more powerful neighbor. While right here in America, Police act with impunity daily, as they are emboldened to beat and kill citizens, largely without consequence.

Where is the outrage from Amnesty International? Where is the outrage from The Inter-American Commission on Human Rights or the United Nations Commission on Human Rights? Does the responsibility for Human Rights fall only to small, impoverished countries while large Western powers and Israel are shielded and exempt from scrutiny?

I think not!

ISRAEL’S AGGRESSION AGAINST PALESTINE IS APARTHEID

Adapted: cartoon caricature of American reporting on Palestinian Israeli conflict
Adapted: cartoon caricature of American reporting on Palestinian Israeli conflict

As the Palestinian Israeli conflict rages on, the World goes about it’s business as usual as if nothing is happening. After all we have all been down this road before. It will die

Palestinian women mourn their dead
Palestinian women mourn their dead

down sooner if not later to an uneasy lull. In the end there will be a couple of dead Israelis and a couple thousand dead Palestinians. Supporters of Israel sleep at night by telling themselves it’s a war waged between Barbaric terrorist Muslims and the God fearing Israeli people who just want to be left in peace to live their lives.

Objective observers see it quite differently. This issue is far deeper than the narrative fed us through Jewish American owned and controlled media entities.

Not only are westerners fed this utter bile by CNN, BBC and other Media houses, there is no framed historical context for the conflict. What we are fed is a constant stream of pro Israel propaganda usually from the safe confines of .…. you guessed it Israel.

No one bothers to mention that 1.8 million Palestinians were routed from their homes and forced into squatter settlements on a tiny strip of land in 1948. Effectively making Gaza the World’s largest prison.

Since then Palestinians in the Gaza strip have been subjected to constant humiliation, bombardment and occupation by the Zionist state of Israel, thanks to the most sophisticated weaponry and military technology known to mankind.

Dr. Mosheer Amer – PalestineChronicle quote :

Thus, Palestinian suffering and victims become invisible and unworthy to be reported, and reporting on Palestinian casualties is sanitized and abstracted, and a detached, mitigated language predominates the reportage when Palestinian victims arrive to hospitals with charred bodies and torn limbs. Such reporting that only scratches the shallow surface of reality shields Israel from the same moral scrutiny it applies to the Palestinians. What is worse, it provides a self-serving moral universe unburdened by the inconvenience over the suffering and pain of the unworthy “other”.

Decades of this unjust reporting has created a mythical imagery of the Apartheid Israel. Deceiving even those who profess to love God and preach his ways, into accepting the callous slaughter of innocent men, women, and children, as just punishment for those who would fight against his people Israel.

The reality is that true Jewish people , African people, are not welcome in the Apartheid state of Israel. The Israeli Government refers to Africans coming into the ancient land as infiltrators. We have written on this, right here in these blogs. Many African Jews are sitting in concentration camps in the middle of the Negev desert today.

The majority of Israelis in Israel are the descendants of white Europeans who fled Hitler during the second world war. They have no lineage or

historical connection to the land they occupy. They can offer no historical linkage to Palestine beyond allegations that God promised them the land. If God promised Palestinian lands to Jews, it certainly could not have been the Caucasians who now live there.

It would be to the peaceful African Jews who can trace their Jewish bloodline back to Biblical times. These African Jews are treated like garbage in the Apartheid state of Israel.

One cannot take onto himself a religion and claim divine promise. Being Jewish is genetic. Can a Caucasian adopt Islam then march in and claim Saudi Arabia the birth place of Islam as his? How then can one claim to be Jewish and take Palestine from it’s rightful owners?

th (6)We have allowed ourselves to become passive observers at best and willing participants at worse. We have become disinterested pawns in this villainous and deceitful manipulation of truth and Justice. We have twisted our God-given sensitivities of truth and justice to match that which we are fed, even though we know they are lies.

We have come to accept death to mean the death of Israelis. Dead Palestinians are summarily discarded, and ignored. The people with no bomb shelters, and crude home-made rockets are aggressors. Those who have advanced weapons which rain death from the skies onto defenseless and unsuspecting civilians are victims.

Israel and it’s surrogates berates and ridicule the United Nations , effectively creating the excuse it does not have to abide by UN’s Resolutions, even as the rest of the world is obligated to respect UN resolutions and charters. This creates the space the Zionist state needs to continue its unconscionable oppression and massacre of the Palestinian people.

It is Apartheid . Israel’s aggression against Palestinian is , yet we refuse to call it what it is. We are nothing, if we remain silent in our own perceived comforts as others are manhandled, mutilated and murdered. Where is our humanity?

this is not the image of a dying man, it is the image of a dead man . eyes wide open.

The cop seen here chocking Mister Garner is Daniel Pantaleo, tough guy cop he is wearing the #99 jersey as Dennis Hamil of the New York Daily News said this moron should be bum rushed right off the force and into an orange prison jersey. http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2014/07/cop-who-choked-garner-stripped-of-badge-and-gun.html

This is not the first time Daniel Pantaleo has been accused of impropriety he has already been named as defendant in two civil suits that alleged improper police conduct including lying and false arrest.

images (8)A civil suit, settled in January, accused Pantaleo and several other officers of unlawfully stopping a vehiclee13 Eric-Garner (1) operated by Morris Wilson in New Brighton back in March 2012. The lawsuit also alleged that Pantaleo and another officer had pulled down the pants and underwear of plaintiffs Darren Collins and Tommy Rice in public view in the middle of the day.

After the vehicle was stopped, passengers Collins and Rice were ordered out of the vehicle. Collins and Rice were handcuffed, and shortly afterwards Pantaleo and Officer Ignazio Conca “pulled down the plaintiffs’ pants and underwear, and touched and searched their genital areas, or stood by while this was done in their presence,” according to the lawsuit.

Collins and Rice were then taken by Pantaleo to the 120th Precinct station where they were strip-searched again, ordered “to remove all of their clothing, squat, cough and lift their genitals.” Wilson, the driver in the vehicle stop, took a plea deal after admitting to possessing drugs in his pocket. However, Jason Leventhal, the attorney for Collins and Rice, said that the officers were allowed to arrest everyone in the car because Pantaleo had falsely claimed that drugs were in plain view in the car.

One of the fundamental, most important things a police officer needs to do is to tell the truth,”said Leventhal. ”He has no right to strip-search anyone in the middle of the street.”

Collins and Rice had been criminally charged after the arrest and search, but the charges were eventually dismissed. Both men received $15,000 from the city in the settlement.

The second lawsuit against Pantaleo remains open. There are few details, but plaintiff Rylawn Walker filed a suit in February accusing Pantaleo of arresting him despite “committing no crime at that time” and “not acting in a suspicious manner.” Walker’s lawsuit alleges that Pantaleo “misrepresented facts in the police reports and other documents that the plaintiff had committed offenses when in fact this was not true.”http://benswann.com/nypd-officer-who-allegedly-choked-eric-garner-has-already-cost-city-30000-for-unlawful-strip-search/

IN THE MEANTIME

Entire family of 8 killed by Israel's bombs
Entire family of 8 killed by Israel’s bombs

Over 800 Palestinians have been slaughtered in Gaza by the Zionist state of Israel in recent fighting . Less than 50 Israeli’s have died in the conflict.

In response to the wide disparity in the body count between the two factions Ami Ayalon, the former head of Israel’s Shin Bet security agency said quote:

Bombed out Palestinian homes reduced to craters
Bombed out Palestinian homes reduced to craters

We do not measure ethics and morality by counting dead bodies. The fact that many more Palestinians than Israelis have died does not mean that our cause, or this war, is not just. Many more Germans than Americans died in World War II. Does that mean that Hitler was right and America was wrong?

There is that moral equivalence again. America did it so we can too. Israel has used that tact over and over in justifying its war crimes against the Palestinian people for decades. Whether it be WW11 or America’s response to the September 11th 2001 attacks, Israel has hitched its wagons to the moral equivalence train of America.

This tact is strategic for Israel, not just in using America’s military might to frighten it’s more powerful enemies, but in keeping in line, a Democratic American President less than anxious to wage war.

Yesterday as I stood in the Departure lounge of a Florida Airport I overheard on television that 39 Israelis have been killed since the start of renewed conflict between the two sides. I asked my wife whether she heard how many Palestinians were killed ? She shook her head no. An elderly woman standing close by chimed in “it’s a shame they only report on the Israeli’s as if the other side are not people too”! I looked at her and smiled, I guessed she saw that what she said encapsulated my thoughts resulting in the question to my wife. We both watched for a little while longer then sauntered off to catch our flights.

Oh by the way I have not heard anything from Amnesty International on this wanton slaughter, which involves mostly women children, and innocent families.

Staten Island resident Eric Garner was laid to rest yesterday . Garner was killed when NYPD Cops placed him in a banned choke hold as they tried to arrest him. The Police alleges Garner was selling un-taxed cigarettes. The father of 6 children died on the spot from all accounts. Neither the cops who placed him in the choke hold and cuffed him nor the EMT who arrived on scene did anything to help Garner.

pulse and nodded in the affirmative to one of the cops that Garner was still alive. This was clearly a lie . Her opinion was not supported by the video evidence. From all indication Eric Garner died as NYPD cops stood by and did nothing.

EMT personnel clearly lied to cover for cops who knew Garner was dead on scene. Two EMT’s and two Paramedics have since been suspended without pay in connection with this incident. The techniques used to hoist mister Garner’s body onto a stretcher was clearly not in conjunction with their own guidelines. No Oxygen was given to mister Garner , even after they were told he said he couldn’t breathe. Why would they not give him Oxygen, could it be that they knew he was already dead? http://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/brooklyn/funeral-today-eric-garner-article‑1.1877381

The wanton killing and abuse of Black men continue unabated across America by Police.. Black women are not exempt from the viscous testosterone jack-booted assault, from what now passes for Police officers in America. In incident after incident Cops beat people of color mercilessly, largely without consequence. On the International stage Israel kills Palestinians as a matter of course, unconcerned with the dictates of International law. On neither of these issues have we heard from Amnesty International.

In these Blogs we have consistently pointed out these inconsistency in the interest of justice. The Palestinian people do not depend on others to fight their battles , though out gunned and out maneuvered they continue the fight for their survival despite innumerable odds.

Amnesty International continue on it’s path to self imposed irrelevance. Well meaning people the world over now recognizes that they are for selective Human Rights and certainly not about justice.

Despite Hundreds of years of slaughter , first by slavers, then slave owners , through Jim Crowe, chain gangs, the KKK and now Police, blacks continue to focus largely on entertainment. We have played into the narrative that if one wants to hide something from us all they have to do is place it in a book. Even those of us who come from other countries would rather pretend that things are fine in America, saving our venom for our cops back home.

Things are not fine, many young men of Jamaican parents have been abused and killed by Police in these United States. Yet many of us pretend that American cops are courteous responsible public servants.

All we are able to do is to continue to try to awaken your consciousness. The rest is up to you.

Why Do Cops Feel At Liberty To Abuse Citizens ?

The Rule of law must be respected, without it we have no buffer between us and those who would us harm. It is a frightening irony when those we employ to stand between us and those who would bring harm to us, are the ones doing harm to us.

We must ask ourselves “why is it that Police Officers feel empowered to kill a member of the public over some misdemeanor offense”?

Every person running for office in the United States from Presidential candidates to dog-catcher runs on a law-and-order platform. It is so critical that a juiced-up-cop wrongly harassed and assaulted an eminent Ivy League Professor, widespread condemnation erupted from many quarters including the President of the United States. In the end the cop gets invited to the White House for a beer summit.

What is it which makes the American cop untouchable? What gives the American cop the invincible, untouchable persona?

As a former Law Enforcement official myself, I understand the difficulties of the job. I also understand that I am not a God ! Police officers in the United States do not see themselves as peace officers. In fact watching cops in action in instance after instance, convinces me that cops deliberately disrespect some citizens with the express intent of escalating an issue which if dealt with calmly and professionally would simply dissipate.

images (6)There are Ivory Tower dwellers who believe that Urban dwellers hate cops and are opposed to the rule of law. Recently one reporter went on an irrational rant about young black men after a young cop was killed. The Network had the good sense to discipline him. Having been around inner cities all my adult life , I must confess there are certain hostilities to Law Enforcement. This is true whether you are in New York or Rio, DC or Kingston.

Police Officers must be trained to understand these issues and deal with them appropriately. Most of these hostilities come from some involved in criminal behavior. However the Police are not blameless. Much of the hostilities directed at them are of their own making. This too runs the geographical gamut. What is true of many Police Departments , having spoken to friends who are Police Officers, is that officers are actually encouraged to have acrimonious relationships with minority communities.

What’s shocking is that some Department heads actually encourage officers to be cold and disrespectful to even law abiding members of minority communities. Let’s not kid ourselves, when large quantities of black and brown men are locked away in the prison industrial complex, America’s race problems are half solved. Prisons are big businesses , many are run by private sector companies which kick back huge sums of cash to the political campaigns of those dogs barking the loudest on the law and order issue.

You do see how this cycle is perpetuated? Cops and their Unions know this. So the central question then becomes,“who will bell the cat”? The simple answer is no one! This is an issue so toxic and explosive , even the White House will not get involved in a local matter involving Police Departments. At least not a White House where the occupant is a black President.

Forty three year old Staten Island resident Eric Garner was killed byEric-Garner NYPD cops who placed him in a choke-hold, supposedly to arrest him for selling un-taxed cigarettes. The police claimed Garner was previously arrested for doing the same thing.

UN-TAXED CIGARETTES

Whether or not he was arrested before for selling cigarettes, why was it necessary to place him in a choke hold to effect an arrest? They knew him, why was a ticket not appropriate? The offence was not a felony! In fact from some accounts, no offense was even committed.

Why are these tattooed Black-water-type mercenaries being allowed to interact with the black community? I don’t see any cops looking like this in some other communities. Look it is important that if you are told you are under arrest that you submit to being arrested. But is it necessary to pile onto someone pressing his head into the pavement for selling un-taxed cigarettes? These are the questions we must ask! Or is the arrest justified , irrespective of the cost, even at the cost of a life lost? Are these Pyrrhic arrests that important to the States and Municipalities?

It is a tragic irony when death becomes the penalty for a minor infraction. When absolute compliance with the law becomes so fundamental a shackle that it matters not whether you live or die. It is tyranny when the State becomes the greatest entity of fear, it is time to be very fearful.

NYPD CRIMINAL COPS!!!

images (4)Even as the United States takes it onto itself to dictate to other Nations about Human Rights. Cops in city after American city continue to kill unarmed black and hispanic men without penalty.

Cops in the United States kill people with a frightening frequency, yet incident after incident gets washedimages (5) away under the pretext that the system is trustworthy and these killings are properly investigated and justice is served.

Well guess what? Justice is not being served when Grand Juries are convened in private with no input from the public , and cops are exonerated as a matter of course.

Instances of Police Thuggery continue unabated, Black man killed by cops, bystanders take a few pictures, record a few minutes of video, people are enraged, they wash away the blood, it’s back to business as usual. We are told that the matter is being investigated, but what really happens is that the cops are given a pat on the back for a job well done, sent home with full pay for a few weeks until those milling around are quieted down and the cycle continues.

images (6)A 400-pound asthmatic Staten Island dad died Thursday after a cop put him in a choke-hold and other officers appeared to slam his head against the sidewalk, video of the incident shows. “I can’t breathe! I can’t breathe!” Eric Garner, 43, repeatedly screamed after at least five NYPD officers took him down in front of a Tompkinsville beauty supply store when he balked at being handcuffed. Within moments Garner, images (7)a married father of six children with two grandchildren, stopped struggling and appeared to be unconscious as police called paramedics to the scene. An angry crowd gathered, some recording with smartphones. “When I kissed my husband this morning, I never thought it would be for the last time,” Garner’s wife, Esaw, told the Daily News. This was an incident where cops needed to walk away. These cops seem to have a God Complex . This man was clearly doing nothing wrong, all they had to do is leave, they did not they chose to kill this man for no reason.

The reason they do these things is because there are no consequences for their actions. The black community will have to make a tactical decision whether it wants to continue to be a community of casualties or a community which will send these murdering punks clear and unequivocal messages that you will not kill our people and walk away . There were no shortage of supervisory officers on scene. The woman with arms akimbo is a supervisor . She could have stepped in and stopped the gang behavior, she did not. This is par for the course, these thugs have no regard for the black community. Yet they will never face up to a black man, man-to-man. This is not Police work these are criminals in uniform.

Where Is The Church On End Time Theology?

downloadIt was never God’s intention that his Church should conform to the ways of the World. It is the World which should conform to Gods ways through the images (2)teachings of the Church.

God’s way is not hard, in fact it is pretty easy once you realize that a lot of what we have been made to believe, (some from the church itself)had nothing to do with what God said.

As a child I was led to believe that we were not allowed to make a single mistake or we would be condemned to Eternal damnation. Certain verses of scripture were used to frighten us kids. I believe they also had the unintended consequences of causing many to feel they could never make it to Heaven, so some didn’t even bother to try.

One such scripture verse was  Matthew 19:24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”

Jesus made those comments to his Disciples after a rich young man asked him what should he do to have life eternal. Jesus told him to keep the commandments to which the man replied all these things have I kept from my youth , what lack I yet?

To which Jesus replied , sell all that thou has and give the proceeds to the poor, then come follow me. When the young man heard that he went away sorrowful. He was a man of much wealth. Matthew 19:22.images (3)

You see it is not impossible to make it to Heaven , Jesus said this because he saw the reluctance of this rich man to let go of his earthly possessions. It’s not difficult to get to Heaven . In fact when Jesus’ Disciples reminded him that they had given up the life they had to follow him, he assured them thus. Matthew 19:29. And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or farms for My name’s sake, will receive many times as much, and will inherit eternal life.

The Church of Jesus Christ should not try to fit in to the World, the word of God is the same yesterday , today and for all time henceforth.

♦Why then is the Church preaching get along Gospel?

♦Why is the Church silent on end time prophesies?

♦Why is the Church silent on the Books of Daniel and the Revelations?

♦Why is the Church silent on Homosexuality?

♦Why is the Church causing people to believe they can come as they are and remain as they are ?

♦Why is the Church so a part of the World that sometimes it is difficult to differentiate what stops where?

download (1)The Church is a Hospital for sick souls, it is not a Hospice where souls go to die. It is high time that the leaders of the Church of Jesus Christ speak truth to power irrespective of consequences. Christians cannot be afraid of persecution. We cannot be afraid of being ostracized by the demonic forces of this world. We must stand on the principles of our Christian faith and say to the World < Thus sayeth the Lord!

We can only do so however, if we are living a life that is not in conformity with the world. Otherwise we are nothing more than mere hypocrites.

We may come to the Lord battered , bruised, and broken. We may come to the Lord irrespective of our circumstance. We may come to the Lord with our maladies , we just cannot remain in sin and claim to be a child of God.

1. Do not worship other gods.

2. Do not worship idols.

3. Do not misuse God’s name.

4. Keep the Sabbath holy.

5. Honor your father & mother.

6. Do not murder.

7. Do not commit adultery.

8. Do not steal.

9. Do not lie.

10. Do not covet.

If we Loved one another as Jesus commanded before he left this earth , then we would keep his Commandments. Think about it ‚the key to all the commandments is Love. It really is not impossible to have life eternal my brothers and sisters.

FAKE GOODS SEIZED, Just A Thought

A policeman displays some of the fake Clarks shoes that were seized in St Mary by members of the Anti-Trafficking in Persons and Intellectual Property Vice Squad.

POLICE from the Anti- Trafficking in Persons and Intellectual Property Vice Squad of the Organised Crime Investigative Division have seized more than $465 million worth of counterfeit goods in three separate raids between Monday and yesterday.

Head of the squad, Deputy Superintendent Carl Berry, said the raids were part of operations ‘Swirl’ and ‘Push Back’, which target perpetrators of intellectual property crimes which have been raking in millions into the coffers of organised criminal networks.

Among the items seized were two truckloads of counterfeit or knockoff Clarks shoes, bootleg rum, fake pharmaceuticals and medical supplies, and a quantity of compact discs (CDs) and digital video discs (DVDs). The police also seized a quantity of computer hard drives and other equipment during the raids.

We are conducting investigations into trying to find the source and origins of these supplies,” Berry said.  http://www.jamaicaobserver.com/news/Cops-seize – 465m-in-counterfeit-goods_17173612.

Just once I would like to see the Police do things the correct way, rather than go for the instant gratification of the media spotlight.

1)How about seizing the goods.

2)Arresting the suspects.

3)Doing interviews.

4)Speaking to Prosecutors with a view toward offering deals, in order get to get to the source?

5)Then do the perp-walk.

It’s no secret the Chinese have flooded the world’s markets with cheap knock-off goods, some of which have dangerous consequences to health and have resulted in deaths across the Globe. In African nations like Nigeria and others, it is reported that up to 60 % of Pharmaceutical drugs taken are contaminated Chinese reproductions.

It probably isn’t much of a stretch to assume that these are counterfeit Chinese Goods . How about doing some real work that the Force can be proud of? The Department is quick to point to the fact that it’s officers are now highly educated. We are extremely pleased about that. It would be nice to see some evidence of that however.
