KINGSTON, Jamaica — Reverend Merrick ‘Al’ Miller was a short while ago fined one million dollars or serve 12 months in prison when he appeared in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court. Miller was on July 22 convicted for perverting the course of justice when he appeared before Parish Judge Simone Wolf Reece. The clergyman was arrested and charged in July 2010 after then fugitive Christopher “Dudus” Coke was captured in a sport utility vehicle that he was driving along the Mandela Highway in St Catherine.
