Pope Francis Expresses Tolerance Of Gays, Support For Women

In a reveal­ing inter­view pub­lished in mul­ti­ple Jesuit pub­li­ca­tions, includ­ing America mag­a­zine, the Pope appeared to back away from the church’s fre­quent focus on issues of sex­u­al­i­ty and repro­duc­tion. “We can­not insist only on issues relat­ed to abor­tion, gay mar­riage and the use of con­tra­cep­tive meth­ods,” he said. “But when we speak about these issues, we have to talk about them in a con­text. The teach­ing of the church, for that mat­ter, is clear and I am a son of the church, but it is not nec­es­sary to talk about these issues all the time.”

Pope Francis also chal­lenged Catholic atti­tudes about homosexuality.

“In Buenos Aires I used to receive let­ters from homo­sex­u­al per­sons who are ‘social­ly wound­ed’ because they tell me that they feel like the church has always con­demned them. But the church does not want to do this,” the Pope said before restat­ing his unprece­dent­ed July com­ments about not judg­ing gay peo­ple. “Religion has the right to express its opin­ion in the ser­vice of the peo­ple, but God in cre­ation has set us free: it is not pos­si­ble to inter­fere spir­i­tu­al­ly in the life of a person.”

  1. Wow! This is the same church that uses the Holy Bible to enslave African peo­ple (my ances­tors) ; this is the same church that was in bed with the mafia in Italy and around the world. These peo­ple can­not sur­prise me one bit. The main rea­son why they force “Pope Benedict” to retire was that the rich white peo­ple want­ed some­one who is gay to be the pon­tiff, so he can use the Catholic Church to launch his immoral­i­ty. We know that these peo­ple are not moral­ly inclined to do the right­eous things. 

    I hope with this turn by the Catholic Church, those who knew that the RECTUM IS NOT A SEX ORGAN, it is for shit­ting and shit stink and infectious,will leave the Catholic Church in droves. 

    So, the homo­sex­u­als have been very suc­cess­ful in tear­ing down insti­tu­tions that sup­posed to be a vehi­cle to help peo­ple in the world to look to for moral guidance..

    From I was a child my moth­er use to tell me that Jesus Christ was not a white man, or Moses or any of the right­eous men . She said that the whites are thieves, that they stole Jesus Christ and claimed him, when they know that he was a blackman.
