Information is sketchy at this time, but OBSERVER ONLINE has learnt that the taxi operator was killed by gunmen who were travelling in his car, after he was signalled to stop by police officers.

After the driver brought the motor vehicle to a halt, alleged eyewitnesses say the gunmen opened fire on the taxi driver and then turned their weapons on the cops, injuring a woman constable.

She has since been taken to hospital and is reportedly in serious condition.

The gunmen escaped on foot.

It is not clear if the other passengers in the motor vehicle were injured.

  1. in a few secondsHold on, this is waiting to be approved by Jamaica Observer.

I have said already and I am going to say it again! If I was a man with a criminal business/enterprise Jamaica would be my ideal location for my headquarters.

As an international warrior of the United States military, my heart goes out to the police officers in Jamaica. Because it is Jamaican elitists, politicians, the criminals, and Indecom against you! My advice to you guys try to leave the force and migrate to another country.

Wishing that the police woman a speedy recovery!

Criminals are brazen, emboldened, and fearless in Jamaica.

    • Well said , it is abundantly clear to people who don’t have their heads up their rear ends that every effort is being made by the Administration in Kingston to grow crime on the Island.
