Bob McCulloch the Prosecutor who refused to recuse himself from the process which would hear the evidence in the Micheal Brown case announced what most black people already knew.
That Darren Wilson the Ferguson Cop who fired 12 bullets at the unarmed Michael Brown will not have to answer in a State court why he used lethal force to kill an unarmed 18 year old youth.
The hopes of the Ferguson community is now pinned to the Federal Investigations which is still on-going. This is not new , in fact it is particularly difficult for black families to receive justice in state courts when police are the aggressors.
This brings into serious question the grand jury process, when cops are involved. For some reason grand
juries are reluctant to indict cops even when there seem to be an abundance of evidence pointing to the officer’s guilt.
It is a process which fertilizes itself .Cops commit crimes they are sent on leave with full pay , a sham investigation is done after which there is an announcement that the cop acted appropriately, Cops go out and commit more atrocities. It feeds on the acquiescence of the grand jurors.
Something will have to give, police kill black and brown people almost with wanton disregard .It appears sometimes cops are totally unconcerned that they potentially may be asked to account for their actions.
We learned that Darren Wilson got married last month, we also learned he was shopping for a network television interview to his liking.
Doesn’t seem like a man who was particularly worried about being indicted. In the end the St. Louis County Prosecutor Robert McCulloch rigged the system to get the result he wanted .
A non-Indictment for Darren Wilson. Bob McCulloch was a Defense Attorney for Darren Wilson, not a Prosecuting Attorney.
Where this will end I do not pretend to have the answer.
