Tip Of The Iceberg

Arnaldo-Brown
Arnaldo-Brown

It is not unreasonable for Public Officials to have communication devices which helps them to carry out their duties effectively. If fact it is quite expected that a responsible Government would supply it’s operatives with the tools they need to do an effective job. These special little privileges, or perks as some critics label them were never intended to be abused, yet public sector workers are known to do exactly that.

Anyone who served in the Police Force can testify to the fact that there were times when there was one vehicle at a given Police Station, sometimes none , yet the Superintendent , Inspector or some other Non-commissioned officer in charge would drive that lone vehicle home, leaving no vehicle at the station.

Of course when calls come in officers on duty are forced to tell the public that there are no vehicles to attend to the calls. These are disgusting truths, yet they went on for years and I suspect they still occur today. What made them more egregious is the fact that Superintendents of Police were designated Civil Servants and as a result of that designation received travelling allowances to offset some of the cost of travelling.

With only meager compliance to request for public information on how taxpayers monies are being handled, it was recently revealed that one Junior Minister in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Arnaldo Brown had the highest cellphone bill among Government ministers for 2013, racking up just under $1.1 million over the 12-month period — nearly five times that of his senior AJ Nicholson.

We don’t know what exactly his job description is. Does his job require him to use a cell phone with such frequency and to that finical cost to the public? We simply do not know. It may also be inconsequential Brown’s boss used the phone far less than he did.

What seem to be apparent is a continued mindset that there is a never ending slush fund of taxpayer money to be abused. This is not new . For decades countless Jamaicans have entered Politics solely for the purpose of getting rich. The Salary is not enough to get them rich yet even after just a single term in office some walk away wealthy.

Politics was never intended to be a place where one garnered wealth. Service to Country and one’s fellow man is a Honorable pursuit, that reality seem to be lost on some politicians. More and more Jamaicans are seeing just how corrupt and disgustingly dishonest their elected officials are . Unfortunately for them there are no checks and balances in place to put Jamaica’s criminal politicians in Jail .The people doing the stealing are the people responsible for stopping it.

Whether it be in sugar deals where a Prime Minister becomes filthy rich, unscrupulous deals with an Oil company and kick-back in money to fund campaigns. Whether it be blatant, overt , rapacious abuse of a light-bulb distribution program and a Magistrate simply circumvent the process to set a Politician free , Jamaicans continue to pay the price.

The fact is, Jamaicans pretend there is a Democratic Parliamentary system in place. I guess it makes them feel good , after all Jamaicans are master pretenders . The fact is Jamaica has long been a Kleptocracy. It’s façade of a system is geared to punish the poor, and those sworn to uphold the laws. The system rewards and encourages criminality in the streets even as those in Parliament live like modern-day Barons.

This latest cell phone revelation is not even the tip of the iceberg . There is no real accountability. Nothing which holds those with political power accountable. In the meantime Jamaicans will have to bend their backs and raise their children to bend their backs to pay back the Billions borrowed to fatten the political class.

Killings And More Killings !!!

The Jamaican Government is engaged in self congratulations regarding the International Monetary Funds Flower praise for the Country regarding that Country’s adherence to the Funds policies under the Extended Fund Facility agreement.

IMF Deputy Managing Director Min Zhu said because of the financial “miracle” that the Government has performed, the local economy is turning in a positive direction. “By our forecast, the growth this year will be stronger than last year, and even more important, for next year the growth will be stronger than this year. Meanwhile, the fiscal deficit will drop to almost zero… so I think it’s absolutely a miracle. It’s a great achievement by the Jamaican Government,”.

Clearly a political statement if there ever was one. That aside the Fund knows that the Jamaica Government is highly unpopular with the people at this time. If there is a change of Government it may mean that a new Administration may jettison the fund for a more fiscally prudent economic path. That course of action is not in the interest of the IMF.

It is always suspect when a lender Agency like the International Monetary Fund has flowery praise for a Country. That generally means they are reaping rewards on their investments. That is what they are in business for, to make money. Generally when a Nation finds itself in the good graces of the Fund it’s people are feeling the squeeze of austerity. Strict adherence to the Funds fiscal path usually leads to uprising in the streets. Fortunately for Jamaica it has a population which is too immersed in tribal politics to realize it cannot continue on this path to ruination.

As the Government engages in self congratulations Crime continues to make the Country a place to avoid. From St Thomas in the East to St James in the West, Criminals kill at will without consequence. The Police as always, is engaged in putting out fires, without putting forward a cohesive, sustainable approach to eliminating the Criminal underworld from the Country.

The Department’s newly minted Commissioner Carl Williams, a PhD is yet to put forward a comprehensive plan which will have at its core.

(1 Serious 21’st century Intelligence gathering, dissemination and utilization.

(2 Using the Intelligence gathered to lobby law-makers to come up with meaningful Legislation with teeth.

(3 Develop strategies which monitors criminals on an ongoing basis, listen to their conversation, know their whereabouts.

(4 Seeking help from and cooperating with Neighboring and other Nations in whose interest it is to make sure Jamaica’s criminals do not maintain connections with criminal elements in their Jurisdictions.

Jamaica’s Police Department cannot continue to operate purely as a reactive Force. Criminals are sophisticated and determined. They will continue to use innovative and creative ways to carry out their nefarious designs. The Police cannot simply be playing catch-up and being horrible at it at that.

I keep hearing that the Police Force is changing, that the force of yester-year has been replaced with a newer more sophisticated force. I look at the numbers. I look at the performance. Nothing that I have seen impresses me that crime will be trending down anytime in a way that is sustainable, or attributable to the JCF. Conversely lower numbers at a given time may be attributable to events happening at that given time more-so than anything the Police Department has implemented.

The Odds Of Survival For Some In Jamaica

Jamaicans line up to play cash-pot
Jamaicans line up to play cash-pot

A recent Article in one of Jamaica’s Daily tells the story of the hardships Jamaicans face just to put food on the table. Though Gambling is nothing new in Jamaica, as a child most Jamaicans will recall the Numbers game called (drop-pan, in some communities.

Even though some people will still tell you they gambled back then as a means of subsistence, from the Observer’s reporting

Medals and honors for the Elites and well connected. Observer photo
Medals and honors for the Elites and well connected.

people are doing so much more than before.

To win at the numbers back in the day one had to guess what number the Banker decided on(played , the numbers ranged from 1 to 36 , Subscribers to this scheme had a 1 in 36 chance of winning. I’m unsure whether the same format is used today, but a 1 in 36 chance is not exactly good odds for feeding one’s family, or sending one’s children to School.

Gambling was never an alien concept to Jamaicans, neither would it be fair to attribute the practice to any Political party. What is lamentable is that the Jamaican people have allowed lies , deception, distractions, and catchy phrases to cause so many of them lo survive, far below the poverty level. They virtually have a 1 in 36 chance of eating each day. Eating is necessary for survival. It would not be a far reach to suggest that for more and more Jamaicans, the chance of survival is 1 in 36 on a daily basis. And that is not counting the critical crime situation.

We simply have to do better for our people, and as a people. It’s sad to see Jamaicans living this way, yet as soon as election time comes around they go back and elect overwhelmingly, the same band of thieves who rob them.

They not only rob them blind and enrich themselves they award themselves and their friends medals and National Honors for doing it.

By the way what are one of those worth these days? Over the last three decades National Honors and Awards were given out for political cronyism. This is a National disgrace. It is a tremendous dis-service to those who earned and deserved to be recognized for giving meritorious service to Country.

The harm brought onto our Country by the PNP is at this time irreversible in our lifetime. One wonders when will the people finally realize they do not have to live that way?

Joint Select Committee Of Parliament Looks At Jamaica’s Buggery Law

Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller
Prime Minister
Portia Simpson Miller

A Joint Select committee of the Jamaican Parliament is presently looking at the Nation’s Buggery Law . Jamaica maintains criminal penalty for men who engage in male to male sexual Intercourse.

Former Prime Minister Bruce Golding was hounded out of Office after telling a British Journalist in 2008 that there would be no Gays serving in his Cabinet. The statement drew strong condemnation from Homosexual groups around the World. One Canadian group Egale Canada threatened that if the Bruce Golding-led administration did not announce plans to abolish the country’s laws on homosexuality , it would launch a campaign to ban Jamaican goods in the international marketplace as well as a boycott of tourism”. In essence they threatened Economic Terrorism of the Jamaica Economy if the Jamaican people did not bow to Homosexuality. Not to be outdone David Cameron the British Prime Minister announced Britain would begin withholding aid from governments that do not reform legislation banning homosexuality;. Yes, Economic Blackmail if Jamaica and some Aftican Nations refused to surrender their principles on the demonic Alatr of Homosexuality.

August 27th 2009 Jamaica’s Foreign Affairs Minister Kenneth Baugh confirmed that the US Government had formally requested the extradition of influential Tivoli Gardens don and businessman, Christopher ‘Dudus’ Coke. Conspiracy or coincidence? You decide. Regardless of your decision , Bruce Golding was done as Jamaica’s Prime Minister. Done in, not by the Coke issue, but Homosexual power and money.

Elections were Constitutionally due by the end of December 2011. During a Televised Debate with Prime Minister Andrew Holness Opposition Leader Portia Simpson Miller affirmed that a Miller Administration would revisit the Country’s Bugger Laws. Money and much more poured into Jamaica for the jaded People’s National Party and it’s Leader Simpson Miller.

December 29th 2011 the PNP was returned to power by a land-slide.

The PNP which was out of office a mere 4 years after an unprecedented 18 12 years ‚jaded and out of ideas, was back in office much to even their surprise.

TIME MAGAZINE declared Jamaica’s Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller“one of the 100 most influential people in the World”. Don’t look at me, it’s a really small World.

We have now come full circle . Simpson Miller for the first time finds herself upside down in the Polls. The much popular, modestly talented Simpson Miller have always enjoyed a tremendous degree of goodwill from the Jamaican public. In part because of her Party’s successes at the polls, in part because of her gender, and part because of her persona as a daughter of the soil . Miller did not come from the Mulatto upper caste.

The Jamaican people are now disgusted with her leadership, if the latest GLEANER commissioned Bill Johnson’s Polls are to be believed,. For the first time in her Career, her unfavorables outweigh her favorables. This is very serious for the Ruling PNP ‚which has ruled Jamaica for 28 of the last 40 years. Simpson Miller’s popularity is the only Horse to which they can hitch their Wagon.

Opposition Leader Andrew Holness enjoys 43 per cent support, while Simpson Miller’s support stands at 35 percent. A 8 percentage point lead can be be a wipe out if Elections were held today. Elections are not Constitutionally due until September 2015,but the Prime Minister can call an Election if she feels it is in her Party’s interest to do so. In light of her standings in the polls ‚we do not expect an election anytime soon.

WHAT WE HAVE GOTTEN IS NOWSELECT COMMITTEE LOOKING INTO THE BUGGERY LAWS.

The PNP are master strategists, they have beaten the JLP at the Election game because they take nothing for granted. They take full advantage of every possible opening. Could this Committee hearing, at this time, be a cynical ploy to muster support and resources from the Homosexual community ? The PNP know full well the vast majority of Jamaicans oppose changing the Buggery Laws. Why would they be holding hearings when they know how the public feel on the issue?

Jamaica is a Sovereign Nation . Our Country has a right to determine that it does not want Homosexual Marriage. We reserve the Right not to accept that it is normal for two men or two women to be married. We reserve the right to maintain our Christian principles enshrined in the holy Gospel of Jesus Christ, that Marriage is between a man and a woman. We reserve the right to maintain those rights and principles without coercion, threats and intimidation. Without sabotage or subterfuge. th (41)

We reserve the right to maintain what the majority of Jamaicans believe. That we want to maintain criminal sanction for homosexual sex. We do not hate people who practice homosexuality. We simply believe it is wrong , we believe it is un-Godly. We do not surrender the rights to our beliefs, so that homosexual unrighteous and lascivious desires may be accomplished. The Jamaican people do not assume to dictate to other Nations how they may live. As Jamaicans we expect the very same respect.

I support our people on this principled stand . I support the Church as it keep a watchful eye to ensure that elected officials do not abrogate or circumvent the direct wishes of the Jamaican people. The Jamaican people will not go looking into people’s bedrooms to see what they do in the privacy of their homes. They just do not want to repeal the Buggery Law. We do not believe we should open the door of Homosexual immorality on our Nation. The homosexual community has powerful monied and influential practitioners and supporters in high places . They will be marshaling their forces with a view to forcing Jamaica to surrender to their dictates . They threatened us before.

It is a long fight, we should expect to fight, in the interest of our principles.

Jamaican Government Exactly Right On Abu Bakr

Yasin Abu Bakr,
Yasin Abu Bakr,

Yasin Abu Bakr, Leader of the the Radical Trinidadian Muslim group Jamaat al Muslemeen was on Wednesday denied entry into Jamaica . Jamaican Authorities speaking through Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Crime Glenmore Hinds, confirmed that Bakr was in fact denied entry into Jamaica. In 1990, Abu Bakr led more than 100 of his followers in a coup attempt against the ANR . The Robinson-led National Alliance for Reconstruction Government. They stormed the Parliament and held the Prime Minister and his Cabinet hostage. Bakr then took to National Television and declared that he in fact had carried out a coup. He told Trinidad that he was in negotiations with the Army.

Bakr and his cronies beat and shot Prime Minister Robinson after he urged the Army to attack Bakr and his band of Traitors. In the end Bakr and his men surrendered after negotiating a deal with the Military. Bakr was arrested and charged. Despite Some 24 lives lost during the coup attempt, including that of member of parliament Leo Des Vignes, a Kangaroo Appeals Court upheld an amnesty which was offered in exchange for their surrender.

Since being released Yasin Abu Bakr, has not been able to stay out of controversy .

Bakr
Bakr

Eleven days after the 911 terrorist attack on the Twin Towers in New York City, Abu Bakr was detained and interrogated by police at London’s Heathrow Airport while on his way to an Islamic conference in Libya. That same year Florida Police uncovered a plot to smuggle 60 rifles and 10 sub-machine guns to the Bakr’s Muslim group in Trinidad.

Jamaican officials have confirmed Bakr was loud and boisterous when he discovered that he would not be allowed to enter the Country. Jamaican Law Enforcement have since moved Bakr to an undisclosed location until he can be sent back to his native Trinidad. Airline personnel reportedly expressed fear for their safety were Bakr to be returned on the next flight to Trinidad.

In a Country where inconsequential guarantees made to murdering Terrorists would not be honored by a Tribunal, this street Thug would have long been executed for Treason, alongside his cronies. Jamaica has more than enough problems dealing with it’s own local thugs , including those being deported having committed serious crimes in other countries.

The Jamaican Administration denied Bakr entry on the grounds he is a threat to National Security. Jamaica may not be able to keep the destructive corrosive influence of the likes of Bakr from our shores, but it certainly can prevent any symbolism his person may convey.

The Coming Persecution Of The Christian Church.

Pope Benedict XVI
Pope Benedict XVI

Rome — In the Church’s message on the occasion of the World Day of Peace, Pope Benedict XVI stated that “There is a need to acknowledge and promote the natural structure of marriage as the union of a man and a woman in the face of attempts to make it juridically equivalent to radically different types of union… …since this constitutes an offence against the truth of the human person, with serious harm to justice and peace.”

Roberto_Malin
Roberto_Malini

Co-Founder of the Everyone group Italy Roberto Malini wrote a scathing Article on the Website http://www.tolerance.ca/.

Titled : Pope Benedict XVI promotes hatred towards Gays.

A few days before, the pontiff had received with full honours at St. Peter’s, the President of the Ugandan Parliament Rebecca Kadaga, the promoter of the law against homosexuality in Uganda, which provides for the repression of homosexuality and penalties ranging from heavy prison sentences up to life imprisonment, and even capital punishment for gays.

This is an attitude marked by hatred and contrary to the Holy Gospel, as well as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. EveryOne Group, Gays Without Borders and civil society are now launching a complaint against this incitement to discrimination and hatred. It is also important to ask the bishops to dissociate themselves from this discriminatory position.

The Catholic Church has returned to the Middle Ages. Below is a brief history, with some incidents of homophobic persecution. The Emperor Justinian, the protector of the Catholic Church, established the death penalty for homosexuals and pursued them alongside the Gentiles and the Jews.

The Monk Pier Damiani led a crusade against homosexuality, the foundations of which are contained in the Liber Gomorrhianus, written in 1049.

One of the statutes of Bologna in 1257, on the Societas Sancte Marie, established the death penalty, by burning at the stake, for homosexuals and for those who hosted them in their homes. There were more fires in Switzerland for the vicium sogdomiticum, in the thirteenth century.

At Clermont, in France, gays and heretics both perished on the stake. In the 14th Century the city of Rome burned homosexuals, while Florence preferred to castrate them. Gays and lesbians were burned in Padua from 1329 and later all over Italy, where people watched the torture of innocent people as though it were public entertainment. Punishment was no different in Rimini under the “enlightened” Malatestas. Identical persecution occurred wherever the authorities and the papal guards discovered relations between persons of the same sex.

The Florence of the Medici was a little less severe: authorities issued fines for the first three homosexual relationships discovered, while for the fourth, they decreed the death of the “reprobate”. Francesco Sforza in Milan rewarded with a cash prize the citizens who denounced gays and lesbians, who were then burnt at the stake.

It has been a terrible persecution that has stained civilization and influenced culture, traditions and religious worship throughout the centuries, preventing artists, poets and thinkers representing homosexuality as a natural expression of passion and love, and countless human beings from living their natural inclinations in peace, without fear of public humiliation, torture and death.

The history books that children read in schools fail to mention this persecution of homosexuals throughout history: this too is homophobia. The Church’s hands are stained with the blood of so many innocent homosexuals and it is unacceptable that it still aims to be the champion of one of the most horrific atrocities in human history.

EveryOne Group and Gays Without Borders are calling on the UN and the Council of Europe to publicly condemn the inappropriate words spoken by the Pope, to invite the Catholic Church to undertake a path of respect for the LGBT community, and to stop their support for promoters of a criminal law.

Pope Benedict XVI announced on Monday February 11th 2013th that he will resign the Papacy, effective February 28th, citing his declining health. “I have had to recognize my incapacity to adequately fulfill the ministry entrusted to me,” Benedict wrote in a statement. He is the first pope since 1415 to resign the Papacy.

While Vatican officials have stressed that Church teachings against homosexual activity would not change under pressure of public opinion, the document said “many responses” called for “theological study in dialogue with the human sciences to develop a multi-faceted look at the phenomenon of homosexuality”.The bishops will discuss the paper in October and could make recommendations on changes to Church teachings, on which the Pope would decide.

Gay rights groups were estatic on Monday October 13th 2014, in a draft document from a group of bishops and priests suggested the church could be more welcoming to the gay community. “Homosexuals have gifts and qualities to offer to the Christian community,” they wrote. “Are we capable of welcoming these people, guaranteeing to them a fraternal space in our communities?

CNN Snarled, quote: The Catholic church can’t have it both ways on gay rights.

Either it must take steps to accept gay and lesbian people as part of its flock — including them as full members, embracing their unions, decrying Catholic schools that fire gay and lesbian teachers and calling for the full protection of LGBT people around the world. Or it can go back to emphasizing its condemnation of homosexual acts as “intrinsically disordered,” as it does in the Catechism of the Catholic Church. The current middle ground — with church leaders saying “homosexuals have gifts and qualities to offer the Christian community,” but not fully embracing them as equal humans in the church and under the law — is unsustainable and dangerous.

What does the Bible say about Homosexuality?

Romans 1−26−28.

For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; 27 and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.28 And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done.

1 Corinthians 6:9 – 10 — “Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.”

1 Corinthians 6:11 — “And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.”

1 Timothy 1:10 – 11– The sexually immoral, men who practice homosexuality, enslavers, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine, in accordance with the gospel of the glory of the blessed God with which I have been entrusted.

1 Corinthians 7:2 But because of the temptation to sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband.

Jude 1:4 . For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Jude 1:7 . Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

Jude speaks particularly harsh about Homosexuality . Jude selected strong language to convey the seriousness of the charge facing the church. Allowing Homosexuals into Christian fellowship without applying the same standards of admission , with complete Repentance , and an acknowledgement that the practice of Homosexuality is an abhorrent sin, as is the standard applied to other sinners, will be the spiritual death knell for the church. Repentance is the major action a sinner must take to be accepted into the family of God.

Do not be deceived
Do not be deceived

On May 9th 2012 President Barack Obama announced he was in support of Homosexual marriage. Mr. Obama was the first sitting U.S. president to publicly support gay marriage. His predecessor George W Bush affirmatively stated that marriage was between a man and a woman. Obama’s Vice President Joe Biden had preempted his boss by announcing his support earlier for gay marriage.

This leads us to ask, why did Pope Benedict suddenly decide to step aside? What does this mean as it relates to Biblical Prophesy? The answers are in the Scriptures. Romans 1:26 – 28 For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions.

We are in the end time, already business-people are being persecuted for their principled stance against Homosexuality. Coming soon they will begin the process of taking away tax exemption from Churches whose leaders refuse to marry Homosexuals.

Then they will begin to make Criminals of Pastors who refuses to marry Gays. It will be shrouded under the guise of human Rights. What it will be is persecution of the Christian Church in support of the hedonistic , lascivious and demonic practice of Homosexuality.

The day is fast approaching when Christians will not be able to stand against the sin of homosexuality without risking Imprisonment or death. When we see these things however we know that our redemption draweth nigh . Thus sayeth the Lord.

Lets Fix Crime In Jamaica

Carl Williams
Carl Williams

Murder in Jamaica is a way of life. Over the last several years Jamaica averages approximately 2.5 homicides per day.

With a population of 2.7 Million the chances of getting killed at any given time is a real cause of dread for the average Jamaican. The likely-hood of getting killed increases dramatically if you are a returning resident, or if someone gets the idea that you have a few dollars in your pockets.

Contract Killings are not investigated properly, even on the rare occasion a Principal trigger-man is held accountable. This leaves the brains behind the scenes to go ahead and kill without consequence.

It is now time to enhance the process by allowing deals with low-level criminals if they coöperate with Investigators and Prosecutors.

Merely robbing a victim is not enough, in many cases people are killed even when they comply with demands to hand over their property. Killing victims is the norm merely par for the course, or just for the hell of it.

A new Police Commissioner was recently appointed in the person of Carl Williams a PhD. We salute Williams and wish him the best even as we are mindful that merely putting Willimas a superbly educated individual in charge will do very little to Curb crime.

It is great to see a PhD heading the JCF,not because I believe it makes much difference in the effectiveness of the Department. But that it silences the Island Nation’s Bourgeoisie. At least Williams will be heard , Jamaicans are heavily invested in Titles.

Chief of Department NYPD Phillip Banks
Chief of Department NYPD Phillip Banks

William Bratton who heads the NYPD the World’s largest Police Department of 46,000 Officers does not have a PhD .

In fact, neither is Chief of Department Phillip Banks, though he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Lincoln University, and is a 2001 graduate of the Police Management Institute at Columbia University, and also attended Harvard University.

My point is, it hardly is how well educated the Top tier of a Police Department is. It never was. It is about a few other things.

(1 A decided mindset that Crime will not be tolerated, nurtured, or supported.

(2 Passing laws which puts criminals in Prison and keep them there.

(3 Supporting Law Enforcement Officers in the Lawful Execution of their duties. While making it clear that abuse of Power and criminal conduct will not be tolerated.

(4 Ensuring that Politics has no part in Law Enforcement.

(5 Improving the Criminal Justice System.
(6 Eliminating bases of support for criminal conduct by attaching serious penalties for those who aid and abet criminals. No distinction should be made between those who are Principals and those who aid and abet.

(7 Train, equip, and pay Officers, while holding them accountable.

Jamaican streets continue to run red with the blood of the innocent. The killings continue because criminals know they will get away with it when they kill. Even when they are known fear prevents anyone from coming forward. This brings up another requirement. Police can no longer depend on eyewitnesses to solve crime. Eyewitness accounts , once thought to be infallible is now proven to be fallible. We must improve our Scientific approach to Crime Fighting.

The Government is complicit, at least by default, when it does not do enough to bring callous murderers and Rapists to Justice. For over four decades this mentality has been the norm. Zones of Political Exclusions were created with a view to keeping one Party or the other in Power. Those Zones of Political Exclusions are also Zones of Refuge for known Criminals.

Until this practice is stopped and Law Enforcement has a free hand to do it’s job, Jamaica will remain in the top five most likely place to get yourself killed.

Smart Devices/Consumers Not So Much

dunkinSo I walked into my favorite coffee-shop today, the same Dunkin-Donut I visit on my way to work daily, except when my wife makes me a cup of coffee. The line was long, surprising for a Sunday afternoon.

No one seemed to be in a rush, after all it’s lazy Sunday, not exactly the Monday morning rush crowd.

As I stood in line waiting, I realized that most of the people on-line had their smart phones out, no problem of course. Not at all, people need something to occupy their time while they wait.

What irritated me a bit, was realizing that the reason I was  in the same place without moving was that the guy giving his order at the head of the line was trying to find his order in his smart device. It got me thinking.

There is really nothing wrong with using a smart device to store your information, not at all. What is a problem, is when the device becomes your brain. Am I alone in thinking that as the devices become smarter ‚many on the consumer end are becoming less so?

Okay, you are skeptical, but when you interact with the public daily you get a feel for what I am actually talking about. People with smart Devices, unable to tell their phone number. Unable to tell their Cell and internet provider. Unable to tell how much they pay each month. That’s a problem.

Not only are people unable to memorize the most basic personal information, it seems we are less able to make simple decisions. The purchase of a single piece of Electronic device has to be photographed, a thousand questions asked and that information beamed across hundreds ‚sometimes thousands of miles of Oceans several time before a purchasing decision can be made.

I got to wondering what would happen if we go off-line for a day, make that a week ?It’s not out of the realm of what’s possible, technology depends on Satellites being in place without interference. Properly functioning Networks deliver Data to us at record speed, so much so we forget to use our Brains as a storage device. What if something happens which causes all of that free-flow of Data to come to a sudden stop, what then?

Just a thought !

Julia Pierson Out

Pierson being sworn in by Obama
Pierson being sworn in by Obama

Head of the Secret Service Julia Pierson has resigned. Just yesterday White House Spokesman Josh Earnest mouthed the lines “The President has confidence in Julia Pierson to do the job” less than a day later Pierson was done.

Obama accepted her resignation. So much for confidence! We applaud the decision of the President to accept her resignation, it is one thing to give someone a chance to do a job . It is another thing when serious breaches as the ones documented ‚happen over and over again.

This is not about whether one likes the President or not . It isn’t even a matter of who the President is at a given time. The President of the United States and his family deserves the highest level of security. What happened under Julia Pierson was untenable. Had she remained it would have been impossible to rebuild trust in the Agency.

On the appointment of Julia Pierson, many including Major Media Houses crowed that Piersons elevation meant a breaking up of the old boys club. th (32)Frankly I am not sure what that means. People should be hired to do the job they are qualified for and which they are able to do do. It doesn’t matter what gender that person is.

Despite the crowing she was not up to the job, lets hope the next person who takes on that serious role, male or female will do a better job than what occurred on Pierson’s watch.

Shocking New Revelations About The Secret Service Coming To Light

Utah Republican Jason Chaffetz
Utah Republican Jason Chaffetz

Yet more shocking Revelations coming to light in the ongoing Saga surrounding the Secret Service and the Security of the President of the United States and his family. New Information coming to light reveals that the recent lapses involving the Secret Service may be just the tip of the Iceberg.

The Washington Post Reports :

A security contractor with a gun and three prior convictions for assault and battery was allowed on an elevator with President Obama during a Sept. 16 trip to Atlanta, violating Secret Service protocols, according to three people familiar with the incident.

President Obama was not told of the lapse in his security during his trip. Director Julia Pierson , according to two people familiar with the incident, took steps to have the matter reviewed internally and did not refer it to an investigative unit that reviews violations of protocol and standard. The incident, which rattled Secret Service agents assigned to the president’s detail, occurred as Obama visited the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to discuss the U.S. response to the Ebola crisis. The private contractor aroused the agents’ concerns when he did not comply with their orders that he stop using a phone camera to videotape the president in the elevator, according to the people familiar with the incident. The man was also acted oddly, the people said. Agents questioned the man when they exited the elevator, and then used a national database check to learn of his criminal history.

When a supervisor from the firm providing security at the CDC approached and discovered the agents’ concerns, the contractor was fired on the spot and agreed to turn over his gun — surprising agents, who had not realized he was armed during his encounter with Obama. Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R‑Utah), who first heard of the breakdown from a whistleblower, said he was appalled at the incident. The Washington Post confirmed details of the event with other people familiar with the agency’s review. “You have a convicted felon within arm’s reach of the president and they never did a background check,” Chaffetz said. “Words aren’t strong enough for the outrage I feel for the safety of the President and his family.

Chaffetz added: “His life was in danger. This country would be a different world today if he had pulled out his gun.”

It is the latest in a string of embarrassments for the Secret Service, whose director, Julia Pierson, drew criticism Tuesday from lawmakers in both parties during a combative hearing that focused on her agency’s security lapses. The hearing focused on a man who was able to foil Secret Service officers by jumping the White House fence Sept. 19 and also a 2011 shooting at the residence that the Secret Service failed to identify and properly investigate.

The elevator incident exposed another serious breakdown in the Secret Service’s safety protocols: this one meant to keep the president safe from strangers when he travels to events outside the White House. In close quarters or small events, when the president is on the road, all of the people who could have access to him must be checked in advance for weapons and any criminal history. In response to a question at the hearing Tuesday, Pierson said she briefs the president “100% of the time” when his personal security has been breached. However, she said Tuesday that has only happened one time this year: soon after Omar Gonzalez jumped over the White House fence Sept. 19 and was able to burst into the mansion. A Secret Service spokesman said the agency would provide a response soon. Some elements of the Atlanta incident were first reported Tuesday afternoon on the Washington Examiner’s website. The security contractor became upset with agents who asked him to stop filming the president with his camera phone, behavior that led agents to question him.

Under a security program called the Arm’s Reach Program, Secret Service advance staff run potential staff, contractors, hotel employees, invited guests and volunteers through several databases, including a national criminal information registry, and records kept by the CIA, NSA and Department of Defense, among others. Anyone who is found to have a criminal history, mental illness, or other indications of risk is barred from entry. Local police and federal officers are not checked in the same way under the Arm’s Reach Program, with the Secret Service presuming they meet the safety standards because of their employment. But private security contractors would be checked, two former agents who worked on advance planning for presidential trips said.

Two former advance agents said that, for nearly every trip, someone would be barred from attending or participating in a presidential trip because of some prior or current problem found in a check of their name. Usually, it involved a local Democratic or Republican party campaign volunteer who was offering to help drive staff to and from events during the visit – but had an assault conviction.Former and current agents say this method is

Secret Service head Julia Pearson
Secret Service head
Julia Pierson

For weeks the Nation has been inundated with News about the National Football League, there is no escaping the continuous barrage of condemnation for Ray Rice who punched his fiancé Janay Rice ]née Palmer. Just today a group of female Lawmakers in the State of New Jersey renewed calls for the firing of NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.

Where are these Feminist Ideologues now that the Nation’s 44th, and first African American President and his family seem to be subjected to abject carelessness and incompetence at the least and at worse much more ? Clearly Julia Pierson is not up to doing this Job. It should come as no surprise that the President cannot come out against the Secret Service, he has to depend on them to protect him and his family for the rest of their lives. It falls on the Congress to provide the necessary oversight .

Where is the oversight?

Why does Julia Pierson still have this job ? Is she up to the job? Was that female Agent who was run over by Omar Gonzalez up to the job? What if the President or any member of his family was in the vicinity of Gonzalez’s path? Why was anyone not known to the Secret Service allowed on an elevator with the President of the United States? Why are quotas and political correctness allowed to trump the safety and security of the President?

In a World where men dare not question the capabilities of women to do certain jobs, these are the consequences. Where are the calls for this woman to be booted from this position, where she is clearly in over her head.. Why put a woman in a position where she would be over-run and obviously unable to react? What will be the price paid before this political correctness nonsense end. Obama for his part is one of the Chief proponent of this out of control political correctness which will invariably have dire consequences for the country. Judging from Pierson’s confusing responses and the sequence serious lapses by the Secret Service, including on overseas trips. One is left to wonder at the real danger to this President and his family if an attack was well coördinated and executed by a group of people who know what they are doing!!

This is a serious breach of security as ever, if ever there was one. Yet there is an almost deafening silence . Where is the outrage How can an Agency with a mandate to protect the Nation’s Chief Executive fail so dismally and the head stays intact? What will have to happen before Julia Pierson is booted from this job and a comprehensive Review done to ensure that these things never ever happen again, Irrespective of who the President is?

Only time or a serious event will tell.

We Ask Again How Safe Is President Obama In Light Of These Revelations

The much ignored story of Omar Gonzales a 42 year old Iraq Veteran who scaled the White House fence ran across the Lawns and entered the residence of the President of The United States is now gathering steam. CNN now reports. The man who jumped the White House fence earlier this month and breached the mansion’s doors actually made it farther than originally thought, officials said Monday.

cq5dam.web.1280.1280

Officially thought by whom? What was the official report given about this incident? Why would it require a whistle-blower to tell a Politician, Utah Republican Jason Chaffetz a member of the oversight committee that Gonzalez ran through much of the main floor, past a stairway that leads up to the first family’s residence, and was ultimately stopped at the far southern end of the East Room. He also reached the doorway to the Green Room, an area that looks out on the South Lawn. New information surfaced that one Secret Service Agent was overpowered by Gonzalez before he was ultimately subdued. The Secret Service had previously stated that Gonzalez was stopped after entering the front door of the North Portico. Why would the Secret Service deliberately lie about this? Chaffetz confirmed the details of what now appears to be a wild chase through the main floor of the White House, first reported by theWashington Post.

East Room
East Room

Chaffetz a Republican could not miss an opportunity to play politics however , saying quote: “I could not be more proud of the individual agents, but I worry that Director (Julia) Pierson and the leadership there at the Secret Service is failing them,”. It would have been a modern day miracle had a Republican dealt with a serious issue without resorting to politics.

I’m not sure what Jason Chaffetz knows about security, what I do know is that no one should be proud of those Agents who were working that day. All of them who were involved let the President his family and ultimately the Country down. It is incomprehensible that any Security Officer worth his/her training would allow an intruder to breach the fence , sprint across the Lawn and enter the home of the leader of the free world without taking him out. To those talking about the restraint, I say “bull”. Where was the restraint when they shot Miriam Carey?

This was not restraint. What happened was an egregious dereliction of duty ! Gonzalez was armed with a knife, according to reports. For all those Agents knew he could have had a gun, he could have had a bomb. What if he had a bomb strapped to himself and a timing device. This is beyond serious. The President and his Family could have been there, they could have been hurt or worse. This is as serious a breach as ever in this Agency’s long list of foul-ups in their mission to protect the first family. Never have we heard of this level of carelessness and incompetence in the protection of an American President.

Which leads us to ask whether this is incompetence or is there something else going on? Can we even trust this version of events when there has been so many different stories coming from that Agency?

To suggest that Gonzalez suffers from PTSD is beside the point. Miriam Carey was suffering from Post Partum Depression and she is dead. Restraint is being legally justified in killing but refraining from doing so because it is avoidable. When you have a duty to protect the President and his family and you allow that kind of breach to occur it is not restraint. It is incompetence.

The Hidden Agenda Of Those Who Shape Your Views

It’s impossible to turn on the Tv , log onto the Internet , or even listen to an all oldies music station without being bombarded with news of the NFL’s Ray Rice, Adrian Peterson, or Johnathan Dwyer. Yes, even the Disc Jockeys on the oldies music station I listen to cannot help themselves. They stop the music to flap their gums about Domestic violence.

I couldn’t put my finger on what it was that united all of these different groups and individuals around a common cause. After all Racism has been in America for over 400 years, most wont mention it but will quickly deny it’s existence. I have a feeling the reasons behind the visceral condemnation of the trio of wealthy black men by those old white males have precious little to do with domestic violence. That however is a conversation for another day.

As I have said multiple times, what Ray Rice did was not funny , it was criminal, Period.

Tlhe NFL has had a history of Violence. Not just domestic violence of the type we saw in that elevator video, or what Johnathan Dwyer is accused of doing. Let alone Adrian Peterson spanking his kids leaving marks. Several Former and current players have been involved in serious felonies to include Murder.

Was the Ray Rice decking of his then fiancé Janay Palmer the straw which broke the proverbial Camel’s back?

Or was this Tsunami created to drown out something else? Roger Goodell has been successful as Commissioner of the NFL . Does anyone reasonably believe that NFL Owners who voted (33 to 8 in favor of Goodell for Commissioner in 2006, with the Oakland Raiders abstaining, were going to show him the door?

Which brings us to what was front and center in the News, when the Ray rice elevator video was exhumed. .

POLICE KILLINGS

Ronald Ritchie
Ronald Ritchie

Why is it that people do not want to face the fact that Police Officers are illegally killing and seriously hurting innocent people?

As I’m writing this a Ohio Grand Jury ruled that Cops acted properly in the Walmart killing of John Crawford III, a 22-year-old black man. According to the website Gawker.com

Ronald Ritchie, the 24-year-old who made that 911 call, is amending what he originally told police and reporters about the Aug. 5 incident. Ritchie, to the dispatcher: “He’s, like, pointing it at people.” He also said in the call that Crawford was trying to load the gun, causing 911 to tell officers, “he just put some bullets inside.”

Ritchie, to reporters at the time: “He was pointing at people. Children walking by.” Ritchie in the Guardian this week: “At no point did he shoulder the rifle and point it at somebody.” Well, that’s certainly a different story. What changed during the past month?

John Crawford
John Crawford

Ritchie says he was allowed to view the sealed security video, recently shown to Crawford’s family and their attorneys, that reportedly shows Crawford never lifted the BB gun and was on the phone and standing still when officers shot and killed him.

Will this liar be held accountable for what he did ? Don’t hold your breath, it was only a black man who died.

We do not know how Cops dealt with this case, as a former cop I will not begin to second guess what occurred in this particular case. From all indications they lied about yelling out orders before firing 5 bullets into his body. Eye-witnesses account indicate he never knew what hit him. These Cops know they would never be held accountable for killing Crawford. All is required is that they plant a fabricated story in the Main stream Media that Crawford was waving around the air rifle. They would do the rest. Even when evidence surfaced that he wasn’t they still continue the lie.

The Grand Juries are generally made up of the most pro-Police people, who lack objective thinking. Usually relatives of cops. In the United States the Grand Jury process involving Cops is a grave mis-carriage of Justice for the families of those wrongfully killed by Police. There is no Justice in them.

Eric Garner
Eric Garner

As if that killing wasn’t bad enough, there were multiple other killings in the News which simply wouldn’t go away. Staten Island Native 43 year old Eric Garner was killed by NYPD cops who used a two decades old banned choke hold.Garner was accused of allegedly selling un-taxed cigarettes. In Ferguson Missouri an unarmed 18 year old Michael Brown was gunned down by Police officer Darren Wilson. Brown wasn’t even accused of committing a crime.

In St Louis County a few miles from where Brownwas executed Kijame Powell a 25 year old black man of unsound mind was summarily gunned down by police 23 seconds after

Michael Brown

arriving on scene. Powell was allegedly acting weird , but had not hurt anyone. Cops arrived and immediately escalated what from video evidence was a non-issue, then summarily executed him on the spot. This even as tensions were running extremely high in Ferguson a few miles away. Those cops did not stop to think what if we don’t get away with this?

In Saratoga Springs. …Utah 22 year old Darren Hunt was killed by police, 6 bullets to the back, he was carrying a sword. Eyewitnesses say he was running from

Darrien Hunt

cops.

These are just a few of the black men who were killed in quick succession across the country. This does not include the viscous assaults cops committed on men and women of color which did not result in death. The media needed to find something else to talk about. The already League litigated Ray Rice story was resuscitated and given new life to take the heat off cops and it worked.

In the meantime Criminal cops could go back to what they were doing . abusing and killing without consequence. There are good cops in every police department. If you are a good cop reading this and you do nothing when your colleagues do these things, you are not a good cop. You are a criminal.

Unfortunately none of the cowardly grand-standers will have the courage, character or integrity to stand with pregnant Sandra Amezquita, 44, who was thrown to the ground by NYPD cops.” Seriously though, what kind of cop does that? A Lawyer speaking on behalf of the woman said “Her belly is now with black and blue bruises. She’s bleeding and she’s having complications.”

Sandra Amezquita,
Sandra Amezquita,

Sandra Amezquita, stepped in to protect her 17 year old son who was being stopped and frisked by Cops of the Brooklyn 72 Precinct. This happened less than a week after an officer from the same precinct was suspended for kicking a street vendor, according to WABC.

Ray Rice is crucified for punching out his fiancé, and correctly so. What should happen to Cowardly cops who do this to a pregnant woman?Or are we to believe it is okay for cops abuse women but no one else is allowed?

After all the Government is ready to crucify Adrian Peterson for disciplining his children he’s not supposed to. But it’s perfectly within the realms of acceptability for the Government’s paid enforcers to mete out whatever punishment they see fit including death without consequence.

Who will bell this cancerous cat? The silence will be deafening, guaranteed. I am waiting to see the tough-guys who wanted a piece of Ray Rice stand up and demand justice for this pregnant mother.

I won’t hold my breath, I did say you were hypocrites and frauds. You are hypocrites and frauds !

Family Demands New Probe As Jury Fails To Finger Culprit

Henry
Henry

According to presiding coroner Patrick Murphy, the seven-member jury, in their unanimous verdict, concluded that “rat insecticide” was the agent used to poison the former commanding officer for the troubled Clarendon division that has been linked to the death squad investigation. “They [jurors] agreed that he was poisoned, but they don’t have the information to say how he was poisoned or who poisoned him,” Murphy explained. The verdict, which came after 35 minutes of deliberation, means that if new information is uncovered, the police can reopen the probe into Henry’s death. As is reported in the JAMAICA GLEANER .

I have doggedly followed this case from the moment I heard that SSP Dathan (Duffy Henry was Hospitalized. To those who do not know him, SSP Henry Officer in charge of the Parish of Clarendon. To Me he was Duffy. Duffy and I served at the Constant Spring CIB in the late 1980’s to early 1990’s I was promoted Acting Corporal. We sat the Accelerated Exams together we both passed. I left the Force in 1991 Duffy stayed . I was proud but not surprised to see Duffy climb the ladder to the rank of SSP rather rapidly.

He was smart , and curious. No matter what situation you are in he could make you laugh , he was just an all around good guy. I spoke to him just months before he died, by phone from New York . He hadn’t changed a bit , same Duffy !

From the beginning the streets had it that he was poisoned, anyone familiar with us Jamaicans

Dayton-Henry
Dayton-Henry

know once there is a rumor circulating in the streets , it bears investigating. I have written several Articles since his death. I did so to keep the case alive, so someone would be brought to justice for killing him.

As I said in a previous Article, a Coroner’s Jury cannot say who poisoned Dathan Henry . It can only say that his death is a Homicide. Well guess what? Everyone suspected that. The Jury has said that he was systematically poisoned meaning he was poisoned over a period of time.

My greatest fear after Duffy’s death was that the so-called Detectives at the Major Investigations taskforce (MIT) investigating his death would not be worth a damn nickel.

This will be upsetting to many past and present members, frankly I don’t really care. These Detectives today cannot investigate a crime committed in their view. They are practically worthless when it comes to doing a proper Investigation closing all the loop-holes and bringing a credible case to Prosecution.

I wrote rather pointedly during this period of waiting, beseeching the Police to continue to do a thorough Investigation with a view to bringing the perpetrator‑s to justice for killing this man. Even as I did , I was never convinced they had the ability to conduct a credible Investigation.

Never once, In the time since I left the Force have I ever wished I was still serving, until now. I may come off a bit arrogant, but so be it. If I was serving I would have done everything in my power to help in bringing Dathan Henry’s killer/s to Justice , and she/he would be convicted.

Roxan Henry, SSP Henry’s brother and the family spokesman, made it clear that they will continue their push to have the police conduct a more detailed probe and are contemplating hiring an attorney to ensure that this happens.

The problem with this is, that the incompetent Police Department is still necessary. Yes an Attorney can watch proceedings on behalf of the family but it requires good police work to bring the perpetrator/s to justice. The kind of Investigation which ceased to exist many years ago.

It is sad but the JCF owes this family a conviction. Dathan Duffy Henry was a smart young man who could have done anything he chose to with his life. He chose the Police Department. It is a sad indictment on that Department that it cannot bring to justice the killer/s one of one of it’s best and brightest stars. “He did not poison himself … he did not commit suicide. Someone poisoned him,” Roxan Henry insisted. He certainly did not , his killer/s are walking around right there in Jamaica.

How Secure Is The President When All The Hype About The Secret Service Is Peeled Away

The White House
The White House

The Secret Service chief has stepped-up security outside the White House after a man with a knife who jumped the fence made it into the presidential residence before being apprehended, officials said Saturday. This was reported by the huffingtonpost.com

Seriously the man had time to Jump a fence, cross the lawns and enter the residence of the President of The United States of America , and by the way it is reported that the man was armed with a folding knife. There are so many things wrong with this picture that I will come back to it.

It is reported that President Barack Obama insisted he still has confidence in the beleaguered agency’s ability to protect him and his family.

After the fact
After the fact

What else is he going to say? He still has to depend on them to protect him for not only the remainder of his tenure in office but for the remainder of his life. It is not the first time that there has been foul-up by this Agency, involving this President.

in March Agents were in the Netherlands as part of a contingent preparing for President Obama’s visit. According to officials, one Secret Service agent was found intoxicated and passed out in the hallway of his hotel. Hotel staff subsequently alerted U.S. authorities. This agent and two others — who were his companions on a night out drinking in the Dutch capital — were disciplined by being sent home for not exercising better judgment.

How is it that someone can scale the fence , spring across the lawn and enter the President's residence unscathed?
How is it that someone can scale the fence , sprint across the lawn and enter the President’s residence unscathed?

Nearly two years ago an advance team ahead of an Obama visit to Colombia for the Summit of the Americas got drunk. In that case, Secret Service agents hit the clubs of Cartagena for a night of drinking that ended with them bringing prostitutes back to their hotel. The agency immediately pulled 11 agents allegedly involved in the scandal from Obama’s security detail, put them on administrative leave and removed their security clearances.

How much is enough? The media is engrossed in a feeding frenzy surrounding the Ray Rice Elevator incident , They just won’t let it go. Yes what Rice did was despicable, but now it’s much larger than Rice . Every little Racist turd has now crawled out of their hole and is now passing Judgement. This is an issue of National Import. Where is the coverage? Or are we to assume that the Nation’s first black family in the White House is undeserving of the protection commensurate with the office? The same protection afforded previous occupants of the White House.

President Barack Obama and his daughter had just left the White House by helicopter on Friday evening when the Secret Service says 42-year-old Omar J. Gonzalez scaled the fence, darting across the lawn and through the unlocked North Portico doors before officers finally tackled him. Officials had originally said that Gonzalez appeared unarmed as he sprinted across the lawn — potentially one reason agents didn’t shoot him or release their service dogs to detain him.

This is a ridiculously absurd statement, designed only to cover their asses? How could they make that determination while he was running toward the President’s Residence? It must be construed that anyone who unlawfully breaches the fence surrounding the White House and tries to enter the Building has mal-intent ! What if he had a bomb strapped to his body ‚or simply had one in his possession? How could they tell he didn’t have a gun? Did they see the knife while he was running ? Isn’t a knife a weapon capable of killing someone? Did they think about that statement before they concocted it? Who made that decision not to take out that intruder? Would a black intruder have been given that benefit? The answer is no!

34 year old Miriam Carey before she was killed by Secret Service and Capitol Police
34 year old Miriam Carey before she was killed by Secret Service and Capitol Police

That statement does not stand scrutiny. They had no problem killing 34-year-old Miriam Carey, of Stamford, Conn. on Friday Oct 4th Last year. The incident began at about 2:30 p.m. at the White House gates at 15th and E streets NW. Police say Carey had attempted to ram a temporary security barrier outside the White House with her car, then struck a Secret Service uniformed division officer. She then fled the scene, leading police on a chase. Carey had her one year-old baby in the car at the time, This did not stop Secret Service and Capitol Police from killing her. Carey’s mother said her daughter was suffering from post-partum depression.

If someone breached the private sanctum of my home without my permission I would be livid. This guy breached the Residence of the leader of the free world and there is no consequences. What if this is a dry run? The President and his family were not at home at the time. What if they were? As the Media spotlight blazes and the pontificaters

They had no compunction about pumping bullets into Miriam Carey
They had no compunction about pumping bullets into Miriam Carey

grandstand about Ray Rice and whether Roger Goodell should be fired the real serious issues are receiving no attention . As I said in a previous Article, all of this noise about the NFL, though of some merit, is being done to drown out the calls for attention to the killing of black men across America by Police.

With all of the hype surrounding the Secret Service , I am yet to be convinced that this is a professional agency which takes the safety of the Nation’s chief executive and his family seriously. Those wishing to do the President and his family harm only has to be right once. They seem to be getting a hell of a lot of opportunity toward that end.

Noise About NFL Designed To Stop Talk Of Police Killings

Over the last month or so there has been a lot of Press surrounding the Police Killing of young men of color. The list of those killed or otherwise abused is long. These are just a few of the lives which were snuffed out by police. Many insists none of these men needed to die.

Which leads us to ask, “when did police become Agents of Execution”? I though Police Officers were supposed to serve and protect ! Who are Police Officers protecting and serving these days? The Media Spotlight was focused for a week on Ferguson Missouri, as the horrific killing of Michael Brown gripped people in America with souls and consciences. Now this does not apply to some, in this country certain quarters are only concerned when members of a certain group are killed.

Then everything comes to a halt and everyone is inundated with blanket wall-to-wall grieving and commentary. Despite the blood-letting of young African-Americans those concerned were mainly , .….. well .……African-Americans.

So how do you quiet all of this talk about Police abuse?

Wait, I got it, we will turn the conversation around .We will once again highlight just how violent Young African men are, that is why they are getting killed. But just how do we do that? … wait , wait, it will come to me.….…

Got it, we will go straight to the NFL ‚there are a lot of big, strong , abusive black men there, bingo.

The NFL has a history of abuse of all kinds by it’s players , Black, White , and whatever other color they come in . Domestic abuse, sexual abuse, whatever. They do it.)

1) Ask Ben Roethlisberger ‚On July 17, 2009, a civil suit was filed in Washoe County, Nevada District Court accusing Roethlisberger of sexually assaulting Andrea McNulty, 31, in June 2008 in his hotel room while he was in Lake Tahoe for a celebrity golf tournament.

2) On March 5, 2010, it was revealed that police in Milledgeville, Georgia were investigating Roethlisberger for a sexual assault inside the women’s restroom of the Capital City nightclub. The accuser was treated at Oconee Regional Medical Center. An emergency-room doctor and two nurses examined her and noted in their report a “superficial laceration and bruising and slight bleeding in the genital area”, but could not say if trauma or sexual assault was the cause. Milledgeville Police Sergeant Jerry Blash, who had posed for a photograph with Roethlisberger earlier in the evening, was the first officer to respond. At the scene, he made a comment about the accuser to Barravecchio: “We have a problem, this drunken [expletive], drunk off her ass, is accusing Ben of rape.” Blash later admitted denigrating the accuser and never formally questioning Roethlisberger; he did speak to the NFL player and his off-duty police bodyguards at the Capital City club, but according to Blash’s own report, Roethlisberger was hardly engaged and spent most of the time on his phone.[14]wikipedia

No charges were ever filed against Roethlisberger. In fact it appears the Police covered his ass.

The listof players who have run afoul of the law is well established.

Aaron Hernandez charged with double murder.

Ray Lewis charged and exonerated of Murder.

Rae Carruth Sentenced for conspiracy to murder . In prison.

Hubert D. Thompson murder of a 66 year old man. In prison.

Barret Robbins Attempted murder , dissapeared since 2007.

Jim Dunaway Murder, reduced to wrongful death for the killing of his wife.

Tommy Kane Manslaughter.

O. J. Simpson Murder , exonnerated , doing time for robbing his own property, in essence doing time for the murders he was not convicted of .

It’s not like the NFL has not been full of violent men for a long time. So why all of a sudden are we bombarded with round the clock coverage about wife punchers, head-butters and child spankers, when the League was always filled with murderers and sex offenders?

It is to change the subject . Guess what the subject is changed and you didn’t even notice. These people are awfully slick.

Minnesota Gov. Shows Himself As A Flaming Hypocrite

Mark Dayton
Mark Dayton

Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton is publicly urging the Minnesota Vikings to suspend embattled running back Adrian Peterson until his ongoing child abuse allegations have been settled. Peterson was reinstated Monday just hours before allegations of a second incident with another one of his four-year-old sons came to light. “It is an awful situation,” Dayton said in a written statement issued from his office in St. Paul.

Yes, Mr. Peterson is entitled to due process and should be ‘innocent until proven guilty.’ However, he is a public figure; and his actions, as described, are a public embarrassment to the Vikings organization and the State of Minnesota. Whipping a child to the extent of visible wounds, as has been alleged, should not be tolerated in our state. Therefore, I believe the team should suspend Mr. Peterson, until the accusations of child abuse have been resolved by the criminal justice system.”

What a flaming hypocrite, sure Adrian Peterson’s right to due process must be suspended to ensure that the Vikings Organization and the State of Minnesota be saved embarrassment. Never mind that Peterson has not yet gotten his day in court.

Where does Politicians get off telling private companies how to run their businesses anyway? Here’s a word of advise to the goodly Governor, take your scripted statement back . Re-word it then re-write it . Here’s what you should say ““Yes, Mr. Peterson is entitled to due process and should be ‘innocent until proven guilty.‘Signed: Mark Dayton.

You see Governor, after that line everything you said revealed you to be a meddling hypocrite.

Governor here is what you should hang your damn head about .This is what’s shameful , please remove the hood from your face for a minute and look at what your KKK members dressed as cops are doing while you meddle in what does not concern you .

UPDATE :::::

Since we went to publication the Minnesota Vikings have bowed to the pressure and once again benched Adrian Peterson for a second straight Game even though , like we said before, he has not had due process.

The take-away from this, is just how powerful the Governor’s pressure is. Yet these bastards never have a kind word for victims of police abuse. Neither do they ever want to stand up and demand that the thugs on the State’s payroll respect the rights of everyone young or old , black or white.

I most definitely discipline my daughter. I have a 1‑year-old daughter and I discipline her,” Bush said on WFAN’s “Boomer & Carton” show, via CBS New York. “Obviously every person is different. And I definitely will use my best judgment to discipline her, depending on the situation on what happens. I definitely will try to … obviously not leave bruises or anything like that on her. But I definitely will discipline her harshly depending on, again what the situation is.”

In a conversation with Jim Rome for CBS sports.

I’m from the South. Whipping is … we do that all the time,” the former basketball star, who was born and raised in Leeds, Alabama, said. “Every black parent in the South is gonna be in jail under those circumstances. I think we have to be careful letting people dictate how they treat their children.” When Rome contended that it doesn’t matter where someone is from because “right is right and wrong is wrong,” Barkley disagreed. “I don’t believe that because, listen, we spank kids in the South,” he said. “I think the question about did Adrian Peterson go overboard. … But, listen, Jim, we all grow up in different environments. Every black parent in my neighborhood in the South would be in trouble or in jail under those circumstances. … As far as being from the South, we all spanked our kids. I got spanked, me and my two brothers.”

CHRIS CARTER

This goes across all racial lines, ethnicities, religious backgrounds. People in disciplining their children. People with any sort of Christian background, they really believe in disciplining their children,” Carter began. “My mom did the best job she could do raising seven kids by herself. But there are thousands of things that I have learned since then that my mom was wrong. This is the 21st century. My mom was wrong. She did the best she could, but she was wrong about some of that stuff she taught me. And I promised my kids that I won’t teach that mess to them. You can’t beat a kid to make him do what you want to do.”

Hmmmm. Eagles coach Buddy Ryan in 1989 cut Cris Carter following the pre-season. Carter later admitted that Ryan released him because of alcohol and drug abuse, including large amounts of ecstasy, cocaine and marijuana, and credits his former coach with helping him turn his life around as a result.

This Pharisee was allowed back into the NFL to play and is now in the Hall of Fame now here he is standing in Judgement of others. Let those without sin cast the first stone.

Obama’s Presidency

Obama and Bush
Obama and Bush

Barack Obama will be criticized and disrespected by probably half of America irrespective of how well he does on any given subject. On September 11th 2001 planes crashed into the twin towers in lower Manhattan killing over 3,000 people. George Bush who was President at the time was alerted by his chief of staff Andy Card as he sat in a Florida class-room. Bush sat transfixed for a good five minutes as if unsure how to react.

Bush waged America’s longest war in Afghanistan. Not satisfied he waged an illegal war in Iraq killing that Country’s leader and splintering Iraq’s ethnic tribes the Sunnis, Shiite and other ethnic minorities leaving them to wage war against each other. Unable to capture or kill Osama Bin Laden whom they blamed for the attacks on the twin Towers Towers and the Pentagon , Bush shifted his reason for being in Iraq to Nation-building.

There was no talk of Nation Building when he illegally invaded a Sovereign Iraq. The lie then was that Saddam Hussein had what was coined as weapons of mass destruction. Never mind that America, it’s European Allies and Israel possess enough weapons of mass destruction to destroy the Earth several times over. Bush’s Cowboy attitude with America’s military power, the Neocons world view and Donald Rumsfeld’s incompetence in handling the Iraq war created a smoldering cauldron of Militancy in the Middle East. At the center of Middle East animosity toward the west is the Palestinian people’s continued oppression at the hands of Israel , aided and abetted by America and some western nations.

Bound at the hip in Military muscle-flexing with America was Britain, which was still acting like a world power. Recent events including the newest Militant group Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS emerged from the hornets nest Bush and his Neocon friends stirred up. Between the wars and incompetence Bush wrecked the Economy causing millions their jobs and homes. The crash of the American Economy in 2008 was rivaled only by the great depression.

THE ECONOMY

Under Obama, the economy has added 9.425 million jobs and lost 4.887, for a net gain of 4.538 million jobs. That’s a 3 million advantage over Bush. according to the Daily beast Michael Tomasky.

WARS

Obama has wound down the Iraq war which he opposed from the start. In fact some argue he was elected President primarily because of his opposition to that illegal, illogical war. The Afghan war is in it’s final throes. Obama did as he promised he would.

IMMIGRATION

Many Liberals are miffed at Obama for the number of people deported on his watch. Every week thousands of people are deported from the United States for the flimsiest of reasons. This process rips families apart, usually it’s the parents who have breached US laws. Notwithstanding the children are made to suffer. The entire notion surrounding the statue of Liberty, “Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free”,now a colossal lie. Republicans have steadfastly blocked Immigration reform claiming that Immigrants are Democratic voters. Every attempt at reform is labeled an Amnesty. Of course their Conservative Hero Ronald Reagan granted amnesty to people in the shadows during his presidency.

OSAMA BIN-LADEN

This speaks for itself, Bush couldn’t get him, Obama did.

HEALTH CARE

Affordable Care Act the law of the land

Obama has out performed George Bush by every metric in less than 6 years , compared to Bush’s two terms. So there is no logical claim to be made against Obama as it relates to competence, as it has been during Bush’s tenure. I won’t bother to talk about the fact that despite Government lock-downs and across the board disruption of the economy, Republicans, are slated to retake the senate and make further gains in the House. You decide on what that says about the voters.

Recently President Obama was excoriated for going back to play Golf after addressing the Nation on the execution of an American Journalist by ISIS. The verbal assault is nothing new from those on the right. Their hatred for this President because of his

race is palpable . It also makes them irrelevant as serious objectors. In response the president said he should have been more aware of the optics! You think?

Which leads me ask this of the President. Why would you want to play Golf at a Country Club owned by the Racist smut Donald Trump? Mister President there is an old Jamaican proverb which says “you lie with dogs you rise with fleas“No disrespect to my Lab “Bud”. President Obama did not catch fleas from this Mutt. He ended up having to contend with the snide remark attributed to him below.

Mister President you are a smart man but I believe the fact that you were raised on the Hawaiian Islands have totally created a false sense of America in you. On learning that major Clubs in Westchester New York have rebuffed the President’s attempt to play Golf on their courses, I was embarrassed for him, but mostly I was embarrassed for America, just not sth (20)urprised

This is the kind of thing one would expect from states such as Mississippi Alabama Texas and others where intelligence is a rarity, and where ignorance flourishes. Obviously the backlash against Barack Obama is far deeper than just the KKK members who now don Police Uniforms under the guise of law enforcement officers. The chickens are indeed coming home to roost.
