Head of the St James Police, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Marlon Nesbeth, is lamenting the availability of guns in the parish, which he says criminals fire without discretion when committing crimes.
His comment follows last night’s killing of four people in the parish. Speaking with The Gleaner/Power 106 News Centre this afternoon SSP Nesbeth said criminals are getting bolder.

The men who opened fire also injured two other people who SSP Nesbeth says are now in stable condition in hospital. There were two other shootings, one in Flanker where one man was killed and another in the Green Pond area where a woman died.
